Dolphin Point is one of my favorite areas at Seaworld. You have the chance to watch dolphins closely. Depending on the time of day you can feed them, watch them play with toys, pet them(if the dolphins choose to let you) or just watch them swim. Sometimes the trainers are awesome. When my son was two a trainer saw him, came over and called the dolphins over so he could pet one. This was an awesome experience and something that I hadn’t seen before. There is a nice shaded viewing area and also some benches to be able to sit. You can also watch people’s dolphin interactions. If you love dolphins this is a great area to visit.

If you’re there on a date where the dolphins are in a playful mood, you could spend all day here. On my last visit, one dolphin wanted to play catch so much that he kept throwing his buoy over the wall and onto unsuspecting guests’ heads. It was a riot. And then when they threw it back in, he bolted through the water to retrieve it. It was a fantastic experience. When the dolphins don’t feel like playing, this place can be a bit boring. Just dolphins swimming around aimlessly. Probably counting the minutes to their next meal.

My daughter did the dolphin interaction. She loved it! Who wouldn’t? Lol. It seemed pretty quick and for the money there was a lot of other kids in there too so of course took turns. The pictures they offered were rediculous. You could buy the whole disk but it was everyone. Not just your kid. That seemed odd to me especially the poor quality of the photos. I know its not a professional photographer… that being said don’t charge professional photographer prices…

Back in 2010 I did a dolphin encounter here with my sister and nephew. We had a great time and we had a lot of personal time with the dolphins to feed it and pet it. Lovely creatures. This time though, we just stood and watch them swim through the tanks and show off occasionally with their flips. My kids loved it and I think when they’re older, I will book them a dolphin encounter here for them to get the same experience I did years ago.

Had a great morning. Got there early before a lot of guests. I had my two year old nephew. One of the trainers saw him and came over next to us. She called over the Dolphins so we could pet it. We didn’t need to purchase anything to have a few minute petting experience.

I don’t know why but I’ve always fascinated about the creature — the way they swim, the shape, intelligence, beauty and cuteness… It’s my dream pet ;p They took away dolphins from the tank right by «Journey to Atlantis», so this is the closest place you can see dolphins now ;(It would be cooler if they trained them a little more so that we can pet them!
