Slow service. They don’t ask you what you need or want until they’re ready. They don’t even tell you to hold on a second… Their food is good though. But the service needs to be improved!

I’ve been coming here for over 30 years. I roll up tonight after an Amazing Flamenco show and the menu is new and the prices are on the moon! Hahaha I went to Tacos El Panson next door and saved $ 4500.00!

I love their lunch specials! Can get pasta or a personal pizza for under 10bucks and their portions are generous! The meatballs are delicious and so is their sauce! The service is great! I’ve dined in and I’ve ordered takeout. No complaints on the staff or the food. My only complaint was that the table was sticky and the salt and pepper shakers were dirty. A wet napkin took care of the sticky table but I didn’t want to have to clean their shakers you know? I told a friend who lives in eastlake about their pizza because we go to fillippis over there and she enjoyed their pizza too! I recommend it!

I’m not the most qualified wizard expert, but I have made pizza in a restaurant before and I can only dream of having the ability to create this pizza. It’s the type of pizza that defines patriotism and I am so proud to be able to enjoy this pizza. This place is a solid choice. I highly recommend it. Delivery was quick. Ample amount of ingredients.

This place is a hidden gem. Very extensive menu, huge portions, and lots of specials. Defiantly recommend this place if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck. The food is authentic and I have not been disappointed. Service is great and they deliver too.

Come on Etnas! I’ve been going for a solid ten years. Great lunch special, good pizza, delicious salad dressing… but seriously weak delivery game. Every. Single. Time. It is awful. I wait at least an hour thirty minutes every time– and this time, really 2 hrs ago I called. No pizza? I know you’re closed and not even a phone call? I was supposed to have a credit to my account for the last time you messed up too. I tip $ 4 – 5 for a $ 20 order. So you really took an order and just forgot to bring it to me? It’s 2:39am now. I’m going to bed. You lost a very loyal customer.

ugh. so wanted to love this place. I will give them another chance on my next trip. 1 star for location 1 star for being open late 1 star for charactor –1 star for service –1 for dry, and i mean dry chicken so why 2 stars? i want to give them a chance. only 2 tables occupied near midnight on Wed 12⁄23 and it took almost 10 min to place a togo order in person. the greek chicken dinner looked great on the menu… damn thing was so over cooked i had to use the dressing for the salad to even try and swallow the chicken. and 2 days later i had a late night craving for food, and had to look up how to moisten dry chicken!

I like the place… it’s got some character, nice staff and good value. The food, however, is a bit plain. The salad bar, for example, is iceberg lettuce and maybe 4 toppings, including raw onion, raw chunks of tomato and raw mushrooms and black olive slices. The solo lunch pizza is a great deal, but is also a bit too think in the crust and gets soggy in the middle. I would have been happier with less… a thinner crust, less cheese — easier to eat and reheat.

This restaurant is extremely close to where I live, so it is pretty convenient when I have a hankering for pizza and wings. When I want pizza/wings I try to avoid chains at all costs, so I try to go local whenever possible. This is one of the first«take-out» local chains that I have tried and I wasn’t too impressed. The pizza was mediocre at best, and the prices are quite steep depending on what type of pizza you want. The pizza was extremely greasy, and overloaded with cheese to the point where the crust was completely soggy and flimsy. With as much cheese as they put on the pizza I thought it was going to be rich and tasty, but somehow it remained pretty tasteless. Not bad, but not good either. On the other hand, they have some awesome boneless buffalo wings. This is my go to wings joint in my vicinity. The sauce is great, and the wings have a great texture and quality to them. I would recommend the wings over and over. The pizza, not so much.

Came here late on a Saturday night, I’m glad this place is open late! There’s very few Italian restaurants open late night. Not busy at all, and the service was great! It was the boyfriends first time here, so we decided to share plates. The menu has tons of options. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and a vodka pasta. He had plenty of questions, and the server was most helpful. The food was delicious! The pizza was my fave, soft crust, cheesy and juicy chicken, and the dough and crust had a biscuit texture that just melted in your mouth. I’d rank this pizza as #1 or #2, next to Uno’s deep dish pizza. Parking wasn’t the greatest. There’s no ideal parking lot for the restaurant considering its on a busy street, you just have to get lucky and find street parking. Other than that, great service, good food, and delicious food! I’d definitely come back for more!

Quick Tip: Get their pizza! I’ve heard great things about Etna’s pizza and pasta. I went on a late Saturday night and there were only two other couples. It was dead. Our serve was great, besides adding mushrooms when I said«no mushrooms.» I’m very indecisive and he made it real easy for me. I knew what pizza I wanted, but when it comes to pasta it could take me half a day to figure out what I want. I went with the… Vodka Al Forno: it was good… but not great. I thought the noodles were under cooked and the sauce was too watery for me. I like when the sauce is able to stay on the pasta when you pick it up with your fork. I know each restaurant does it differently and I understand that, but in my opinion I’ve had better. There was a good amount of chicken and the dish can be shared with another person. Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza: was awesoooooome! Their toppings were good and you can’t really go wrong with chicken bacon and ranch, but what really won me over was their dough! I really think this is on my top 3 places for pizza in SD. Their dough is so fluffy, that I actually eat the crust! If you know me I like to save the rest of my appetite for more food and not the crust of the pizza, but I couldn’t help myself to finish the whole time. I def recommend their pizza if you haven’t tried it and if you are going to an Italian spot… you gotta get their pasta. If you eat good food, then you will never eat bad food again. @dmagicp

Best kept secret alert! This place is awesome! Food is reasonably priced and the portion sizes are huge! The staff is really nice and courteous. The«small» salad and the spaghetti are easily large enough to feed two.

We went here for date night and the location, is in an ideal place, however if you don’t get there in time, parking is hard to find. Upon entering, we were greeted quickly and was told to seat ourselves. We sat by the window. Small but quaint inside. We ordered spicy Antonio, the tequila lime pasta and calamari, for me personally, I ordered the red wine, Ruffino. First, the wine was delicious. Dry but smooth going down & compliments the food I ate. The tequila lime pasta was the one I ordered. It was tasty and had very generous dinner portions but it was a little too spicy for my taste so I ended up switching dishes with my boyfriend. Now, the spicy Antonio wasn’t very spicy at all which I liked. It has a Alfredo base and came with chicken. I liked this alot better because of the flavor of the Alfredo. The calamari was just fried with marinara sauce and jalapeños on top. I wasn’t very impressed. However the next time I come here, I will be trying the lobster ravioli!

Hawaiian pizza was the best one that I tried in San Diego!!! No grease dripping from pizza etc, it was fresh and yummy! Cannoli was good, not the best one but… Closest to Italian cannoli… I am giving for because this place needs some good ol cleaning and TV off!!!

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night and the first thing we noticed was the horrible smell. Im definitely sure the smell came from their carpet or furniture. This place seemed like it was straight out of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares and needed to be renovated ASAP. Though I am no Gordon Ramsay, I will try to rate this place on what I ate and what I saw. My boyfriend and I ordered the Best of Both combo with lasagna and meat ravioli which came with garlic bread and a salad(about $ 21). We had the salad with both their house dressing and ranch. The thing that probably tied their salad together was the house dressing, it was good! A few minutes after going into our salad, the server comes back to tell us that they ran out of meat ravioli and had another type of pasta that were similar to the ravioli(I forgot the name). We waited about 20 – 25 minutes for our food and at that time, waiting there and smelling the restaurant made me lose my appetite tremendously. I sat there with my boyfriend looking around at the restaurant: it was decorated tacky, the windows were really dirty and the smell(did I mention that already?) was painful. When our food came out, the portion was pretty big but not something we both couldn’t finish. The lasagna was alright, it didn’t have much of that on the plate. The other pasta on the plate took up most of the room and was alright too. The pasta didn’t taste that fresh and the plate was filled with too much cheese. The cheese started to harden and we barely were able to break some of the lasagna apart without the cheese clumping up. The service here was great though, he checked up on us and gave us refills when needed. BUT, there are definitely other places where you can find better pasta, and look and smell much nicer. By the way, they have burgers and all that.(just in case you wanted to go to an Italian restaurant for burgers, lol.)

Only reason it’s not five stars is because the prices are high -$ 20 for a plate of pasta — and the salad bar is rather sad, but everything else is amazing! Open late, clean restaurant, fantastic service, and everything i’ve had here has been foodgasmic! Tonight, I ordered the A La Vodka Pasta al forno. The dish is made with fresh basil and garlic sauteed in olive oil with fresh mushrooms and tomatoes in a pink vodka cream sauce covered in cheese and baked. I got it with penne and half chicken half shrimp. The portion was huge and it come with a salad(or soup) and a huge piece of garlic toast. It was absolutely delicious! The pasta was still al dente(a HUGE pet peeve of mine — hate mushy noodles), the shrimp was not overcooked, and the flavours were layered and nicely complemented each other. I will add dishes to this recipe with each new visit, but take my word on it — this place is great. I do remember their pizza is fantastic too. [edit] I fell to temptation. The tiramisu just rocked my universe!
