nothing special about this pizza… crust too thick and doughy… would not go back

Tried this place on a whim. Orders the Mexican Pizza with cheese and bacon stuffed crust, and cheesy bread. The prep time ran a little long, but nothing outrageous. The pizza was good, and loaded with toppings. As others had mentioned the dough and sauce are not remarkable, but I prefer it that way on pizzas that have many toppings. The chessy bread was par for the course. The ability to have stuffed crust, with additional toppings inside, pushed that fourth star; it adds a new dimension to the flavor profile.

So to begin, I found myself looking at this place for a few days because of the stuffed pizza and the great pricing. However when push comes to shove, I had the worst possible experience with not the staff, but the OWNER. I ordered pickup Saturday night around 840 and they said 25min to pickup. Cool. The lady working the front was nice and the guy who made the pizza was nice. I checked the pizza but forgot to check for stuffed crust, because everything looked fine. When I got home and checked, that’s when I noticed that the crust wasn’t stuffed. So I called to let them know and try to pick up a separate pizza for exchange. They kept telling me know and I was handed off to the owner who made no efforts to try to resolve anything. He then hung up the phone on my friend who was trying to explain to him the situation. When I called back, they told me the owner had left and he wasn’t able to take my calls. I was honestly more baffled at the way the owner hung up on customers trying to resolve something that was wrong with their order. I proceeded to try to get them to exchange the pizza but only was refused and told ide be exchanged the $ 2. But the whole point is the owner obviously has no idea what customer service means. Don’t know how likely I’ll be to ever come back

I order my lunch today with plenty of time I got there 29minutes after an wasn’t ready. I found a unhappy customer asking for his Pizza and the cashier lady started arguing with the customer saying if he want an uncooked pizza he should of ask! Not only the fact that she was talking back on an off to customers she had an attitude a poor poor customer service always notice they are training new staff I wonder why??? To me was was disrespectful to my person plus to the other person who left angry late pizza If this place has a owner, owner should take a look to this matter an poor poor ugly service Pizza place offers. My lunch should be free!!! for being late late late!

I honestly was not satisfyed with the pizza here. It barely tasted like an actual pizza, cheese is garbage and dont get me started on their«wings». The wings tasted like the wings you can get from your local grocery store. Customer service was the only thing good about this place.

I really loved this little joint. My family and I were kind of in a rut for what to do for Christmas dinner, and this place saved the night. We order 4 large pizzas and an order of bread sticks. The guy on the phone said it would only take 15 minutes, so we packed up and made it there as they were making the pizzas. The guy was super generous and kind. The pizza was really good as were the bread sticks. For $ 35 for for pizzas and bread sticks… I will definitely be going back.

I’m a bit of a pizza snob, so my standards are probably a bit more acute than most. The pizza here is decent, but nothing special. It’s a good value, but this means the toppings and cheese are going to be fairly pedestrian. I also think the stye has changed from some of the pictures above… the current crusts aren’t as thick(which is fine by me). I’m a big fan of sauce, but while it was present, it wasn’t pronounced. Sausage barely registered on the flavor scale. Taste-wise, it kind of reminds me of a Tombstone pizza — though definitely larger. Again, not bad if in the area, but you aren’t going to be wowed by and parts of the pie, or the whole.

Meh to OK. Dough is heavy handed, this is not Manhattan style, flavorful and thinly crusted pizza nor is it Chicago style, so some thought to crust is needed(doughs need a bit of aged starter and the right spin to achieve glory). The owner of this City Heights establishment is very kindly and attentive, which is really lovely. For vegans, the surcharge is high for Daiya«Chz» topping. But THEREIS A VEGANPIZZADELIVERYINCITYHEIGHTS! So there’s that!

Have been waiting to try Baja Pizzeria for a very long time. Finally got the chance to come here and was very satisfied. The pepperoni pizza slice was very tasty. I also tried the footlong meatball sandwich with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce — amazing! I definitely recommend checking out Baja Pizzeria — the food is delicious, the price is right, and Chef Nasser is great!

First and foremost the pizza was gross. It is not comparable to anything authentic for sure. The sauce was bland and flavorless, the stuffed crust was disgusting, the rest of the crust was soft and flavorless, the cheese tasted artificial, and the beef tasted awful. Second the customer service sucked. I asked for a one topping pizza half and half and she still put both toppings on the whole pizza, then seemed upset when I asked them to remake it. There was also no remorse for their screw up, so i asked for a drink and she said, «80 cents please.» Seriously? I waited for about a total of 45 min to get this awful, corner store quality pizza after taking the advice of Unilocal reviews. As soon as my husband tasted it, he placed an order at Pizza Hut. places like this make it difficult for me to try out new places. Eww

If only there were negative stars. If only. Had a horrible service experience. Called in and spoke to Brandon. Clever guy hung up the phone twice, then answered my THIRDCALL with, «uhhhh, hello?» I had to ask him if this was baja, and he stated«yeah.» I then tried to order a 2 pizzas, wings, and a salad, and he could not get the order right. After asking for any coupons or meal specials, he said, «he didn’t know of any,» and«he was really busy right now and he was the only one there.» I told him that the website stated that new customers receive 10% off their order, and he replied, «well that’s only if you order online.» I said ok, and went back to the website. There is no place to order online. I called back and spoke to him, after he answered the phone, «uhhh, hello?» I asked him how I could order online, since he said that was the only way to order. He then replied, «well to be honest, I’ve never seen the website before, so I don’t really know.» I asked, «well how can you offer 10% off on your website?» He said, «I don’t know, but there are no deals right now and no 10% off.» When I asked about delivery, he said that they only deliver after 6pm. THEADSAYS«noon-9pm» I’m currently looking at the site w/the discount clearly stated… in three places… and the ad that not only shows deals and coupons, but also states the delivery times. Fail. On so many levels. Absolute fail.

Fast and friendly service. Many diverse menu options. I had a calzone, and it was huge and delicious. The hair metal coming from the kitchen just added to cool vibe of the place. I will definitely be coming back here.

I love this place… I’ve referred so many people(friends, roommates, coworkers) to go there, because the food is real good. The prices are extremely affordable. And the staff are friendly, and nice. I would totally recommend this place to everyone.

I order from this pizza place because the reviews were good. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I ordered two large pizzas, a the Mexican one: chorizo, onioin, jalapeños, and tomatoes. The vegetarian: olives, onions, green peppers and tomatoes. 8 piece chicken wings for only $ 5 bucks and each pizza was $ 9 dollars. The price and quality of the food was pretty good.

Saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to give it a go for an office luncheon I was having. Ordered the Mexican, a supreme stuffed crust, and large garden salad with ranch. When I went to pick up, I noticed that the container of dressing wasn’t ranch. When I asked for ranch I was told that the salads only come with Italian, and ranch would be an additional $ 0.50 per cup. Huh?!? Would you buy a coke and pay extra for ice? Would you buy a soup and pay extra for crackers?! I was baffled. Instead of paying extra for ranch, I asked for an additional Italian dressing because the amount they gave me was so small. I was told an extra Italian would be an extra $ 0.50 too! Its not about the money so much as the insanity of nickle and diming the little things. Now I understand why the pizza is reasonably priced! Never again!

For not bad at all for a large pizza with 5 toppings under $ 13. Think they only have one size. I got stuffed crust pizza with chicken, ham, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni. The quantity for the price is pretty good. Crust has a nice garlic salt type flavor. The pizza wasn’t as crunchy as I hoped so I just tossed it into the oven which helped. Also the chicken seemed like cut up chicken nuggets? Lol(not sure if I like that or hate it). Overall it was good and hit the spot. Could only finish half on my own so it’s more than enough food for the price. Workers were friendly and helpful people. Overall good experience.

The quality of pizza is comparable to Pizza Hut and Papa John’s, but at much lower prices. We ordered combo 10, which is a large 5 topping pizza and a large 1 topping pizza, plus chicken wings. They add a generous amount of each topping. They left out my 5th ingredient, which was disappointing, but the pizza was completely covered in the other 4 toppings, which made it all right. The other pizza was also covered in the toppings we requested(we added an extra topping). We asked for cheese stuffed crust on one of the pizzas, but there was so little cheese in the crust that I couldn’t taste it. That was disappointing, because it costs $ 1.50 extra to get it. The pizzas tasted pretty good. Nothing crazy. Again, comparable to Pizza Hut or a similar pizza chain. The wings tasted like microwaved frozen chicken. I wouldn’t recommend them. I would order from here if I lived closer to the area, and I would definitely order from here over any of the pizza chains. The owner is very friendly and gave us the garlic bread for free.
