By far the most unique store I’ve been to!
The owner has decent prices & his selection of beads is amazing ! Love this store !! The owner is very personable & every time I go it’s always a pleasant experience!

I can’t believe I have never known about this place! It was one thing to study pictures of west African art in school, but it was amazing to be able to see a lot of it in person. The owner was very friendly and very informative. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are interested in west African art.

This place is incredible. Stocked from ceiling to floor with stunning African art, this place is a treasure trove. The owner, Arman (sp?) is very knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his products. There are masks, Dogon doors, and other kinds of gorgeous African art. It’s tucked away between The Lamplighter and The Children’s Boutique. Go inside. You won’t regret it.

Incredible shop! If you like African art, this is the place for you to come. The small shop is filled to the rafters with art pieces for you to peruse. Especially fantastic are the masks to be found everywhere — but there are much larger pieces there too — statues, figures, beads, necklaces, trays, plus much more. The owner is very knowledgeable about the pieces, and it’s a lovely experience. He could charge a lot more, but I always leave feeling like I got a good deal.
I do recommend calling ahead of time if you plan to visit — it’s a small shop and although the hours posted say 11 – 6, Tues.-Sat. I have stopped by during a time they should be open and had it not be open.
