My first visit here. I had lunch with visiting colleagues from Atlanta who were here for a conference. I ordered the fish tacos and they were nicely grilled with plenty of fish. My colleagues ordered the mahi sandwich and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Great location, fast friendly service, and that’s where the compliments stop. Worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever had! It was so salty I had to send it back. For an entre I order a sampler plate with battered and fried shrimp, calamari, and fish. All were tough and flavorless. The batter just slid off the meat like it was an entirely separate entity. I saw the mediocre reviews, but didn’t want to believe them. I should have listened! What a waste of a meal. I will never come back.

It had a really great view on the second floor. We were there for an early dinner. The food was good and well seasoned. I had the clam chowder and lobster & shrimp roll which were great!

I’ve been here twice(I don’t know why I didn’t write my first review a couple of years ago… Oops!), with my most recent visit this past weekend… SERVICE: The staff on both occasions were super friendly. While our first experience was two years ago and we sat at the bar, we do recall having some friendly conversations w/the bartender. During this last weekend, we stopped in for drinks only on a Friday and so we initially intended to sit at a bar table to not take up the dining room… but the staff(host or manager?) said it would be fine and sat us by the window, then our server was also friendly(sometimes they’re not too pleased if you take up a table for just drinks). She was polite, attended to us and our drinks only, and didn’t rush us. FOOD&DRINKS: From the first time we were there, I recalled having some good happy hour foods. We did not have food this last time. The prices can get higher for non-happy hour items, which I remember from the first time(hence why we ate in the bar) and from even just looking at the menu this last time(even though we were not hungry nor intended to eat when we stopped in this time). They have a full bar, with some beer and wine options too. RESTROOMS: They have restrooms upstairs(main dining area level) with a few stalls and it is kept pretty clean. VIEW: This restaurant is about the view. They overlook the water and are in Seaport Village. So, yes it is touristy. Bottom Line: Again, it is in a touristy area/Seaport Village. I don’t expect good food in these spots, just drinks and a view. So, we were pleased with the joint. I do wish the prices were lower so I could nosh on a snack while we have drinks… but we all just ate, so I didn’t need to this time around.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal here tonight. I ordered the Ciopino and she just had a soup and salad. All the items were excellent and our server Danielle was superb.

The sea port village is such a lovely little cove of shopping, food and entertainment near the gaslight district. We were lucky enough to catch a busking festival during our visit. My dad was so happy to be able to shop at crazy shirt, his favorite shirt vendor who to his excitement, had 3 locations within the plaza. He must have gotten something from all of them. Lots of good shops. The magic store was really cool. I was also really impressed by how well maintained the public restrooms were here. I had to use them 3 times while we are here because i have a micro bladder. A clean public restroom is extremely awesome, in my book!

Great walk during the day or night when you have the time to explore. It’s the perfect view of San Diego and a bunch of little shops to browse around. A must see!

Great walk anytime of the day. Leads you right into downtown SD and it’s a perfect tour of the city if you have the time and energy. So many boats and art to view on the way. There is a handful of homeless in the area but adds to the beauty of the area and the grace of the city. The bay is beautiful and people are very natural in this area.

I love this place. Walking around on Valentine’s Day, enjoying all the sights and sounds with my hubby. All the little shops and restaurants are great. There was live music and dancers. Weather was perfect. We love to pretend yacht shop as we walk along the bay. It was packed with people but it’s such a large place that it didn’t feel crowded. People enjoying biking and walking along the water.

We really wanted to like this place. They have a great location and were very close to our hotel. It was even a recommendation from our concierge for six adults and a child. We should have followed the waiter’s recommendations, but some of us ordered fish and a filet. The opah served was most definitely not like any other opah we’ve ever had. Opah is generally a white fish, light and not fishy tasting. The«opah» we received was very fishy tasting, had a darker flesh and was not very good – we doubt it was actually opah. My wife ordered the filet. Again, not what we expected. For the price, we expected a better tasting cut of meat. It was mediocre at best. The best part of our meal was the service. Coury was a great server and took good care of us. We didn’t complain about our meals because multiple misses is probably indicative of the the norm for this restaurant. Sadly, if you’re between options for restaurants(and you will be with so many places close by), opt for somewhere other than Harbor House.

Had the Nantucket Bucket and Grilled swordfish. Ingredients were fresh, bucket was really yummy, esp the broth, service was just right ie not trying too hard, portions just nice ie not overwhelming, a little more expensive but the quality ingredients justify it. Was really happy with the experience.

This mediocre seafood restaurant is located on the waterfront in San Diego’s Seaport Village, just a short walk from some of the city’s biggest hotels — but otherwise there’s no reason to recommend it. The service was outrageously slow, even though we had booked for our large party almost three weeks prior. My stuffed salmon was dry and forgettable, and the and the craft beer selection nothing to get excited about. The restaurant décor seemed tired and worn, and the prices more than I would’ve expected for food of this quality. If you’re looking for great seafood in San Diego, try someplace else.

Meh. Thought it was overpriced for what it was. My husband ordered some type of sampler platter. Everything had the same bland breadding on it. You couldn’t tell any difference between the taste of the fish, shrimp, calamari etc. I had a tiny steak with soggy zucchini. The service wasn’t great. The waitress didn’t come by and ask how our meals were until we were already done eating. We were’t able to ask for more drinks etc. The décor was nice but that’s about it.

I picked this restaurant off a list of vendors and then with help from the Internet for my upcoming wedding in June. I decided I need to see everything in person and make sure the food was good ahead of time so planned a girls weekend to drive down and try it and we were not disappointed! We met with the manager Jim Murphy who was amazing and took the time to show us the room for my reception and answer all our questions. Afterward we ate dinner there which Jim let us choose off the banquet menu so we could get a better idea of the food and it was amazing!!! I can’t wait to continue to work with Jim and the Harbor House in planning my wedding and come back and eat the food.

This is a very solid restaurant. Great food, superior view, and good service. It’s a tiny bit generic or conventional for my taste. But I would recommend it if somebody is looking for a safe bet for a good meal and doesn’t mind paying a fair amount of money. I stopped in for lunch, and had the salmon burger on recommendation of my colleague. Probably the best salmon burger I’ve ever had! It was nicely spiced, the salmon did not taste like it was ground up even though it was, and it tasted almost like a hamburger –in a good way.

Last night we went to Harbor House to watch the Parade of Lights — we sat at the 2nd floor bar & it was a perfect view! Our bar tender, Corey, was very friendly and made great food recommendations. The Happy Hour Menu runs 4 — 6pm — which is perfect for the sunset! They had several local craft beers on tap(Stone, Ballast Point, Green Flash, etc.) The barbeque shrimp was delicious! We honestly were not expecting much as Seaport Village is a major tourist destination — but as locals — we will go back & I will be taking my guests to sit upstairs & watch the sun set! The view is incredible — the food is good & the service was outstanding.

The oyster looks very small though it tastes not bad, it’s a little pricy in terms of such small size according to what I had before. The lobster soap smells good but tastes soooooo salty, that can’t eat without bread, which I mean two whole big piece of bread. The view is good from 2nd deck, that maybe the reason of pricey.

This is a very nice place to eat if you are staying in the area. We were at the Hyatt and wanted to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather. We saw this place, the menu looked good so we tried it. We ordered shrimp plates, Hawaiian Fried and Scampi. They were served fresh, hot and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. Ask for a table looking out on the harbor. You can see the navy ships going in and out. And if you time it right you can see the sunset.

Date of visit: 11/29/2015 Cam and I came here for a quick snack to eat while wandering around Seaport Village. They have a daily happy hour that lasts until 6pm, so we decided to share a beer and appetizer to get to the $ 10 required for validated parking. We ordered the smoked chicken flatbread because it has chicken, cheese, and mushrooms on it. I opted to give my mushrooms to Cam and deal with the cheese. It actually wasn’t too bad, but even with the happy priced seemed expensive for what we were getting. The ambiance was okay — it was pretty quiet for a Sunday night, but the football game was on, so Cam was able to catch the last part of the game while we waited for our appetizer. It also seemed really dark in the restaurant, but the bar is in the back, so it’s probably brighter near the windows. Since our primary goal was to get validated parking, I can’t say that I have the best experience with their menu, but the overall impression left doesn’t have me wanting to come back.

I ate here a few days ago for lunch and had the BBQ chicken sandwich. It was sooooooo good! It was fresh and the flavor just popped. A little messy though. :) The scenery was awesome as well. Had a view of the San Diego Bay in Seaport Village. Its at the entrance of North Embarcadero Park. It’s located across the street from the Gas Lamp. The service was on point and friendly. Waitress immediately filled my lemon aid without me asking. Overall a pleasant experience. I’m going to hit it up again for dinner soon.

Only been here once, but I loved my meal! I had the asiago crusted sea bass and it was absolutely to die for! The fish was delicious and yummm it was served with gnocchi with an amazing suace. Absolutely devoured it and loved my dish! The ambiance downstairs is a little lacking — I would definitely make reservations next time to try and sit upstairs. Definitely a great stop if you’re visiting Seaport Village.

I was surprised to like this touristy spot ok. Lobster and shrimp roll was pretty tasty on a butter-fried roll. Kind of strange just the middle of the bread was scooped out to make room for the seafood… kind of difficult to eat. The onion rings were also quality. My margarita seemed like it had maybe half an ounce of tequila in it… I hadn’t eaten in hours and still barely felt a buzz after drinking half of it before the food came. My friend said the same about the bloody Mary. I couldn’t find anything online mentioning limitations on the amount of liquor per drink in the city, so I think they were just being cheap? Service was pretty slow even though we were there on an off hour.

I would love to give 5STARS but I must be honest and give 2STARS due to service and kids meals. We visited the restaurant today as a walk in to celebrate Chief Season. We were a party of 5 and had a beautiful view of the Sunset. We ordered our meal and to my surprise it was NOT worth $ 160 and this is the reason why. Our children ordered Mac n Cheese, French Pizza and Grilled Chicken(yes at a Seafood and Steak place). Mac n Cheese was Krafts just how she likes it but the Pizza was horrible my Son took maybe took two bites of his meal and the waiter never commented on it. I even had to try it to confirm he wasn’t being unreasonable but he was correct, it was yucky! Our Oldest Daughter ordered grilled Chicken and received chicken in a bowl? We had no clue what it was but we knew we didn’t order it. My Husband asked for him to package it up and bring her a Grilled Chicken Breast because the waiter gave us a funny look like it was suppose to be Grilled Chicken? My Husband and I were finished with our meals and our Daughter still did NOT received hers meal. My Husbands steak and Oysters was good. My Caesar Salad was good but I’ve had better service from the Olive Garden. The fact that the waiter didn’t ask if my Son was ok since he didn’t touch his meal was shocking. Then got our Daughters meal wrong and still charged us then charged for her replacement? What kind of waiter does that? BTW. The Chicken he brought us in error was not good per my Husband. Expected better from a place I’ve booked company parties with previously. Overall, the Seafood and Steak is yummy but the service was not great and I’m sadden that we got a bad waiter on a special day.

Spent the afternoon in seaport village and wanted something a little better than the food court plus we were really hot so we thought we’d treat ourselves to the harbor house. what a disappointment. For starters, the AC felt like it was barely on. Not sure if it’s old or what but there was almost no difference in temperate inside and out. For this caliber restaursant, I feel like cooling it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Wife ordered bbq chicken sandwich, I got the seafood sampler and a soup and it was alright, definitely not worth what we paid. Server was friendly though. I did give an extra star there.

We came here as a party of 4. We were seated promptly but waited about 15 minutes to be brought water. The happy hour is daily from 3 – 7, be here then because that brings the prices down to an almost reasonable price. I ordered the Steak Sandwich for $ 17.95. It was ok, no grissel thank god, but for that amount of money I expected more than a potion size of about 4oz. The flavor was acceptable. Nothing too«wow-ie.» It was a hot summer day and there was no air conditioning so we were sweating the whole time. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food on a day with no wait. I won’t be back because of the length of time between when we were seated and when we were first greeted. The prices are too high for the portions and quality of food. Save your money and go to the food court down the way.

I love seaport village! I run along the bay or ride my bike here on weekends. There are cute little boutique shops as well as the typical touristy shops. Seaport village also has some great restaurants, quick little places to grab good or drinks. Be prepared for this place to get packed on the weekends. Sometimes it gets a little overwhelming, but I can’t blame people for checking it out since it is so beautiful and FREE! Vendors come out on the weekends selling art or letting your pet their birds… for a fee of course. I have also been approached by a few palm readers but I always turn them down. This is a great spot to catch San Diego’s beautiful sunsets or just enjoy a sunny day. You can also see coronado on the other side of the bay.

Went here when I was staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It is in perfect walking distance of the hotel and had a nice view from their upper deck od the ocean. It was located along the seaside among other restaraunts and shops. My friend were hungry and decided to try this place out since we saw that they offered happy hour. For happy hour, the prices doesnt make you happy. I ordered the steamed mussels in curry sauce, it came with fries. The fries was tossed on top of the mussels, soaking them in curry and causing the fries to become soggy(no appealing). I suggest asking for them to be on the side if you order this dish. Ask for aioli dips too! I ordered a fish taco off of happy hour as well, $ 7.(Do you want to know what a regular priced taco is? No, you don’t). The taco was decent. Banana bread pudding for desserr and carrot cake. The carrot cake was so dry, and the bread pudding didnt taste great. Oh and after we firsr sat down, we recieved no bread and butter until AFTER our meals came out. How sad, being hungry and seeing everyone around us getting bread and butter. The food wasnt memorable. And i wish it was because its really pretty here.

Great view. Food is ok but it is so overpriced for the quantity that it just seems chintzy(is that still a word?). I will say the she crab soup is boom. But everything else just feels a little like highway robbery. I am a proud San Diegan and every time I bring company here I find myself wishing we didn’t have restaurants that prey on tourists like Sharks on mackerel. It’s embarrassing. I understand that cheap tourist places need to do this because their season is short but out tourist season is all year and I jut think we should be above it. Our waitress was sweet. The view is nice. The beer is cold. It could be worse but I just wish it were better because we have a lot of out of town guests and I would go there more than once per year if it were.
