Heartland Pool Plastering & Remodeling

Our pool was literally falling apart. We have left it empty for 3 out of 6 summers, and black algae had grown behind the 20+ year old plaster, breaking it off in large potholes all over the entire pool. We were in sore need of a major renovation (equipment, plumbing, tile, pebble finish, coping, and deck)!
Mike and his crews have made our whole renovation experience worthwhile! Mike’s assessment of our pool, coping, and equipment was spot-​on, as we’ve seen his original assessment & recommendations ring true to the end. His quote was very competitive, and he took the time to map out the entire process so we could make the choices we were comfortable with. Mike talked my husband through the ins & outs of what prep work we needed to do on our end to make the process smoother.
His demo crews were very efficient, polite, and respectful of our home/​property and family, which is #1 and goes a very long way with me! We had a horrible experience with another company, and the professionality of Mike’s team made up for that. They always cleaned up after their work, and had great attitudes. Mike’s daughter met us to pick out tile and later came to our house to make sure the grout was going to match the new coping… she remembered the colors we had talked about a month prior and showed me how it would look in full sunlight. They’re not only attentive to detail, but actually care about their clients’ happiness. I will be recommending Heartland to any friends with pools! Our entire backyard and pool looks like an HGTV crew came in and added instant value to our home.

I interviewed with a few other pool remodeling contractors prior to meeting with Mike and felt most comfortable with Heartland Pool Plastering. The quality of work was amazing. As a contractor myself, I can be pickier than most and Mike catered to all our requests and concerns. I have already referred Mike to a few of my own clients and will continue to do so. We are very happy with the finished results and plan on enjoying our remodeled pool for many years to come.

Mike Toye and his crew did an excellent job of re-​plastering our pool. We received quotes from 3 other companies and his was the best price. His price also included the start-​up fees which the other companies wanted to charge us extra for. He did not try to up-​sell us on other features, like the other companies did, which we greatly appreciate. They completed the work in a very timely manner and kept us informed of every step of the process. Mike even came out a week after all was done to check that everything was OK. I would highly recommend his company to anyone who needs this work done.

We got a few quotes for replastering our pool. I am on the board of an HOA and we wanted to get someone with experience and a competitive quote. Mike was FANTASTIC!
