never has wings always has to wait for 15 minutes for chicken… yes that’s right CHICKEN!!! the there is a certain crew that works nights and let me tell you they are the worst, attitude, once this girl almost made me drop my drinks because she wasn’t paying attention. I can’t stand this one but it is close to home and after karate it is quick for us. I have been going a little down the ways to the one on imperial in the marketplace just to get some better service.
The last visit here was bad, the girl in the window had an attitude with me, I asked for four different items that they did not have which is weird because here we are at kfc and you expect them to have chicken if nothing else. I ordered the mashed potato bowls and just moved on from there. They were talking crap about my in Spanish, said, «this stupid lady keeps ordering things we don’t have, this is stupid.» she said it while the window was closed but I can hear her. I am sure she figured I didn’t speak Spanish. never again!!!

The food was alright compared to the other kfc’s I gone too before. However I was missing pieces to what I had purchased.

Was eating at a very crowded and under staffed KFC today for a late lunch. The staff was great and Dominique did her best to keep her cool with the rude customers. Love her!!! Her customer service was great. As was the whole staffs!!!

Went to drive thru on the way to work. Pull up to the speaker and a vagrant starts asking me for change. I pulled up closer to speaker while he remained behind my vehicle. I proceeded to the window to pay and collect my food. I advised the person at the window about the man, he said he was sorry, but that If he called the police they would not come. I know San Diego has a large homeless problem, however this is private property and to have these ppl hanging outside their business can not be good for return business. Obviously once in drive thru there is no way out, except to keep driving w/​o ordering. After paying and collecting my food, I pulled forward only to see the same man at the exit once again waving his hands at me wanting money. I will not be back at this location until this issue is resolved, which from what the employee said may never happen. Sorry KFC ON 32ND

If I could give this 0 stars, I would.
Every trip here as been horrible, and we always question why we go back.
First trip they didn’t have anything ready — we tried 2 different orders and still had to wait 15 minutes.
Second time we went my boyfriend got sick 5 minutes after eating and spent the evening throwing up.
This place is nasty and not worth it!!!

I’ve been to this location 3 different times and every time I’ve been there they never have anything ready and when they do its always greasy or the extra crispy chicken is greasy and no breaking. I will not be going back there very poor food quality. No consistence of product they don’t even care what their putting out will be notifying there corporate office.

I don’t usually get cravings for fried chicken, so when we do hit a KFC for dinner, I’m usually filling up on the sides (mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, typically). I like chicken, but if I want fast-​food chicken, I usually prefer El Pollo Loco.
However, when the hubs wants fried chicken, we get fried chicken. So, we got to the drive-​thru at around 7:45 pm. The lady welcomed us right away, and then gave us time to discuss what we wanted to order. I would have been fine with one of those cheap, «everything-​in-​a-​cup» meals, but in the end we chose one of the family meal options so we could get sides and have left-​overs for lunch the next day.
When we got to the window, my husband asked the lady if the bucket came with breast pieces (heh!) She confirmed that it does, but then we heard one of the employees in the back saying, «We don’t have any breasts right now. It’ll be about 9 minutes.»

So, she tells us we can either wait, or get more pieces of a different cut. I was all in favor of taking the replacement pieces, but my husband was dead-​set on white meat, and after the girl at the window said, «I’d wait for it, if I were you», he chose to wait.
We pulled around front to wait it out, and after 15 minutes, my husband took the receipt into the store to grab our food. I’m guessing they weren’t able to send someone out with our bag of food because the place got *slammed* after we parked. Seriously — the drive-​thru line was on the street, and the parking lot was filling up with cars. I guess everybody wanted to get their fried chicken on.
At any rate, we got our food, and the fried chicken was hot and fresh at least. Though, we did order the bucket half fried and half grilled, and we really only got two pieces of grilled chicken, which was a bummer, because that was supposed to be my meal.
And how come the fried chicken pieces are so much larger than the grilled ones? It’s not all batter, that’s for sure. It’s like they’re not even trying with the grilled pieces. Or maybe it’s portion control? I don’t know…
At any rate, I put a good hurting on the potatoes and the mac and cheese, and only nibbled at the fried chicken breast. Though, something (was it the chicken?) was so salty it dried me out quickly.
I did appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at this location, but again, it’s not my first choice when it comes to fast-​food chicken meals.

The only thing that is good at this location is the food, but other than that I wouldn’t go back because of the service at the drive thru. It seems that they don’t pay attention to the customer.

Close to home. I almost never go. Loved my service. But they are always out of the chicken I like.

Came in for a pit-​stop.
Bathrooms are decent.
The restaurant looks grimy.

I have almost no choice but to eat here every Tuesday and Thursday because theres no where else to eat when I go to work over here. Not once have I eaten here and the tables have been cleaned not once. theres always sticky as hell. it’s gross, service can always be better, the «LADIES» that work here look like they are being forced to look you in the eye, they always have the loud radio latino on in the back blasting, one lady rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a ranch sauce, another lady tried to bribe me with a free piece of dessert if I would call in a good service review for them. I was like HUWHU??? this place sucks if you have to come in and eat or deal with the rude service I always get, they make you feel bad asking for simple stuff like a glass of water. I finally found somewhere else to waste my lunch money. So sorry to say I wont be frequenting this KFC unless its thru the drive thru.

OK I don’t like to go around bragging about how I might eat KFC once every six months or so (i.e. wife is out of town for the night) but I feel compelled to defend the staff at this KFC against A.J.F. As I mentioned, I’ve eaten here a couple times a year for the last several years, and I would say that the staff is actually among the best I’ve observed at a San Diego fast food restaurant– even when the economy wasn’t in the the tank they were good.
Also this is a combo KFC A&W so you can get a root beer float with your fried chicken. Amazing!
