KFC

Fo the most part I get great service at this location. Customer service is good. Attitudes are good. Good quality is usually really good as well… Tried the chicken pot pie today… not impressed. Nearly choked on a bone just now. Come to find out they use their fried chicken to make the dish… try to de-​bone it. The chicken tastes… old…Never again will I order this dish.

We came here last night 20 mins from the time we walked in to get our food while we waited I saw dirty floors trash dirty air vents and water damaged roof stains. Looking into the food service area I saw black dust hangers over the soda machine not happy to see this in the food area. won’t be going back no friendly service

Both of the times I have come here in the last few months have been after 9 p.m., near closing time. Both times, when using the drive-​through, I have had to deal with someone who is either the stupidest fast-​food worker in the world or a troll.
Both times, I asked for «two original thighs» and was asked to repeat my order three times. Tonight, the second time, I said, «only two original thighs, nothing else» — and was asked to reconfirm that twice.
Ridiculous. They’re either prankish children or imbeciles. No, I don’t have a thick accent.
I’ll drive the extra mile to go from Mission Valley to Linda Vista next time.

We had an issue last year with our food… and it’s actually been a year now since we accepted the gracious offer from the manager… Tiffany Mclntyre. She said yes I have kept your
request on file and no problem we want to make things right. So we went today and even though we couldn’t thank her in person the staff was so kind and more. Everything was perfect and we are so enjoying our comfort food from a long day. Shout out to Tiffany
and her crew… we shall return… I think you and staff deserve a raise…

There was no one in line when we arrived at about 10PM (store closes at 11) on Friday, May 29^th we were told they were out of potato wedges so we opted for macaroni and mashed potatoes as our sides. My sandwich had the a chewiest stale peace of chicken in it, they forgot our macaroni, my husbands cookie and utensils… To top it off when we drove up to the window we waited at least 3 – 5 minutes before anyone came to greet us or take our payment. We were hoping for a yummy late night meal and now I am not sure we will be back there anytime soon. Super disappointed!

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. Could not even get my order correct had to drive back and she still gave me the wrong thing and she was the manager will never go back.

I’ve never been inside so can’t really make much comment on the dining experience. Located on the corner of the intersection, they do have their own parking lot… I have however used the drive thru on multiple occasions. Maybe a couple of times during lunch I’ve been able to get in and out of there in a timely fashion. But more often than not, there will be some sort of delay. For one reason or another this location falls behind in keeping up with the orders. Because of this, it’s important to always check your order before you leave. On one of my more recent visits I was craving some of those KFC biscuits (yeah, you know what I’m talking about), but wouldn’t you know it; I didn’t check my order and that’s the item that was missing.
As slow as this place can be sometimes, the chicken is always done right. The sides, pot pies, and deserts never seem to fail either. While it can be frustrating at time, just be prepared to wait. And like me, you’ll be back time and time again.

I will say that I have been going to this fast food stop for over 5 years, great service and good food. So why the 1 star? When I arrived in late December 2014, there was an awful sewage spill that originated from the restaurant (due to broken filter?) and covered the parking lot. It drove a lot of customers away. I had to walk over the sewage just to get to the front door. What really baffled me is that the employees thought nothing of it. I pointed this out to the employees and the manager that sewage was covering the lot, only to receive a «What do you want me to do about it?» look. So I called the KFC District Manager, a nice and efficient person, who thanked me for bringing it to his attention. Ten minutes later, a cleaning vendor showed up and cleaned the mess. Then I called City of San Diego Utilities and County Environmental Health to report this potential hazard. Both sent staff out right away to investigate and confer with KFC staff. Two days later problem solved. But what I really don’t understand is that the KFC store manager did nothing in response to this problem. Very poor management training and practices.

It’s the nastiest place I’ve ever been to I ate there yesterday and I’m feeling so bad… the food was bad and not tasty… the service was baddddd… I’ll never go there again… it’s the worst place ever…

Store is filthy. Employee Kenya was terrible with customer service. Ask for chicken only and said not available. Only In meals. I pointed to the board and instead of asking for help she shrugged her shoulders. Needless to say we left and we NEVER return

I don’t know why I ever come close to stepping inside a KFC. There is nothing good about KFC at all. It should be illegal for them to advertise of TV. Every time I turn on the TV there is a KFC ad running. No wonder our country is so over weight. It is like we are ingraining eating unhealthy into the heads of the next generation. Why isn’t there commercials for all natural food establishments? Anyways, I digress. I was in a hurry for lunch the other day and some fried chicken sounded good so I went through the drive through and asked for two legs, extra crispy, a biscuit, and a side of coleslaw. One of the legs looked like it had once bite of meat left on it. I know they are picking these pieces of chicken to give me. You really couldn’t hand me a different one? The biscuit was cold and the coleslaw was extra smiley. I would have complained but I didn’t even want to give them the satisfaction of «correcting» my order.

This location smells awful. My order was cold and I did not feel good afterwards.

This place was awful! There is no menu before placing a drive thru order so we stumbled a bit. My husband and I and two children were polite and tried to let them know what we wanted. Once we got the food we parked in their lot to eat it. KFC employees gave us no silverware for the 3 orders of mashed potatoes, no sauces at all and no napkins! Really?! All because we didn’t know their menu? I went back in and asked them pointedly for all these items and explained why we needed the extra minute. We won’t be back!

Never had a messed up order here.
The main reason I’m giving this 5 stars is the customer service. Came a few minutes past closing a few times but the guys still let us order drive-​thru! And they’re super nice about it too, not upset at all that they have to do a bit more work!
They didn’t have what we wanted one time (boneless chicken) so they made it up by giving us a lot of extra regular bone-​in chicken which was fine with us!

Got my food in a decent amount of time but the chicken itself wasn’t crisp, It was sort of mushy and it gave me a stomach ache all afternoon.

Slowest service ever!

I had a quick lunch here after a doctor appointment at Kaiser. I ordered their special 3 chicken strips, a biscuit, mash & gravy, and a side of cole slaw for $ 5.00.
The chicken strips were yummy as usual. (
) They were crispy and the all white meat chicken was tender. The biscuit was very good; moist and buttery. The mash and gravy were good and has not changed much over the years, but then again, it works. (
) The cole slaw was crisp and refreshing, but the flavor was okay. A little to sour. (
)
Overall my experience was good. There were a few tables that needed cleaning and the service was descent.

Got served the wrong order and called the store. Employees just laughed.
I do not recommend this one.

One of the better KFC lcations around here. Never had an order messed up, staff is polite at drive thru and inside and they actually make KFC like their supposed to!
