Medical Center Pharmacy

When I learned about this pharmacy and the fact that they will deliver or mail your prescriptions, I was pretty excited. I drive by this location all the time, but can never remember to stop in when I have a prescription to pick up. So far, I’ve been pretty disappointed in the delivery option, and now they say that even sending by mail will take a couple of days…
A few weeks ago, I had called in a prescription refill, and was advised that they would hold onto it for a couple of weeks. I never did stop in to pick it up. So, when the need was more urgent, I called in a new prescription reorder over the phone (for the same thing). I asked if it could be delivered, and was advised that delivery is running behind so it couldn’t be delivered for a couple of days. The prescription wasn’t going to be much use to me in a couple of days, so I said I would pick it up.
Due to some appointments that afternoon, I couldn’t make it in time to pick up the prescription, so I called to make sure it would be ok if someone else picked it up for me. They said sure, no problem, and «I’ll put a note on this to say that someone else is picking it up.» Well, when my boyfriend arrived to pick up the prescription, they told him that I didn’t call it in. But they filled the prescription anyway, thankfully.
A couple of days later, I had another prescription to pick up. When I arrived, they had my new prescription… along with the prescription refill I had called in about a few weeks back.
So, not only did the person who took my call when I reordered not put in my order, or make a note on said order that someone else would pick it up, she didn’t advise me that I already had one filled that was ready for pick up. I guess I thought she would see on my account that I already had one ready to pick up…
I’ll probably continue to use this pharmacy, but my expectations have been lowered to that of any other pharmacy.

I had flu a week ago. Came here for suggestion what to buy. The lady were very not friendly. But I found whatever I needed, they have more choices I think.

This pharmacy is amazing. The girls are really nice and helpful and always call as soon as my prescriptions are ready and when I need refills they always contact my doctor for me ASAP. Plus, great parking, never really a wait time, and I can always get someone on the phone.

Came from New York without my HIV medication and was on my way to the San Diego zoo. The staff was so helpfull and very caring and nice. They gave me a week supply to hold me over until i get back to the apple. I was able to have a great time in hillcrest and see all the sights in San Diego without any worries about forgetting my meds. Thank you soo much to the supervisor and all the employees who cared. Will tell all my friends in San Diego about this great pharmacy

I’m not sure what happend with some of the other negative reviews on this place, but I recently switched to this pharmacy and found them very nice and accommodating. They also were moving at a pretty quick pace to get me in and out. I’ll definitely being sticking with them.

This pharmacy is clearly the BEST. Stephanie handles my account for speciality medication and always makes sure I am taken care of and delivered like clockwork. They are always friendly and fast. You are a name not a number like the big box pharmacy.

Save yourself the hassle of dealing with this pharmacy. Have had nothing but consistent fowl ups & unhelpful, unprofessional & unfriendly service. I feel people in this line of work need to take the responsibility of their customers well being very seriously, not as an inconvenience or annoyance. Even though this is the closest pharmacy to my home, I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
