Rent-A-Center

I recently experienced a very disappointing situation with RAC. I am a great customer and have been for over 4 years. I always paid on time & would pay stuff off early.
For the past 2 years I’ve been on Workman’s Comp and have had 2 surgeries (most recent in Feb 2015). I had previously added & paid weekly for the «Benefits» program & intended on taking advantage of it. But due to miscommunication between RAC staff & my HR I was told to pay or my PC would be picked up. I had to cancel the benefit & pay 4 weeks at once while I was on my 3^rd month off of work. During the time I was getting the paperwork together I received daily calls from the sales men although the manager had given me time to gather everything. Unfortunately due to my surgery & recovery time I was not able to do the legwork for them & gather 1 final form. Paying for the program was a waste of my money, and dealing with the unprofessional staff was a waste of my time & sanity. I will NEVER do business with RAC again.

This location has to be the worst!!! When I went in there, they were so nice when they want to sell you something. Afterwards, they are so unorganized!!! I bought something and there were parts missing. I called them and they made an appt but never showed up. But when its time to make an a payment that is the only time then they are calling a person first thing on a Saturday morning. Don’t go this particular location because its all about money and not customer service!!! Can we do a negative 5 stars!

This was the WORST experience of my life!!! They are very unorganized and do not communicate amongst eachother… to start off I went in on a saturday and paid for my first week they said they would deliver my item by tuesday from 2 – 6 pm. Tuesday came no item no phone calls I had to act like a stalker to get their attention! They said oh we can’t get a hold of your reference so I gave them another one. The next day they said they needed my proof of residency and I called my landlord to fax it. Another day passed and they claim they never received my landlords fax and that they never answered it was busy… hmmm its funny cuz as soon as I called them it went right through! Not to mention my landlord faxed the paper 3 damn times!!! Worry Free Guarantee MY AS$! Now its Friday and I’m barely getting my sh! t. I get home and they didn’t even put it together… So I’m pissed off putting it together myself n I go make the 2^nd week payment (which went up by the way) but I still paid it because I needed my stuff. I originally agreed to pay every 2 weeks but I kept getting calls ALL DAY LONG no lie I swear like 10 – 15 calls a day reminding me of my payment. I had to yell at them n tell them not to call me when I was at work… their manager called and apologized (the only nice guy there) and he was supposed to call me friday which would be in 2 days from today to figure something out. I’m at home with my kids and I hear loud banging on the door. They banged like they were the police n I called the store to complain… the sales manager told me that he didn’t know why they were there and he will write them up. The guys come back with an attitude so I yell at them and tell them to get off of my property and slammed the door. NOTHING BUT HEADACHES AND DRAMA WITH THIS COMPANY… I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and reporting them to corporate. I do have my call log with the harassing amount of calls… u messes with the wrong one I will NOT be treated like that… YOU LOST MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE!!! I learned my lesson never rent from rent a center ill just go to a furniture store!
