Sinned Studio Tattoo

Dizzy has been my tattoo artist for about 4+ years and i’m happy to say that he will be my only tattoo artist until he retires. Sorry dizz, you’re not going to retire until i’m all done getting tatted (just kidding) but that just shows to mind how much i love his work. He’s done my sleeve, my sternum, my back shoulder. He has a two year waiting list, but it doesn’t really concern me because at least i have time to build up money and give thought of the tattoo i want. He makes you feel comfortable and puts you at ease when he tattoos, so thats a plus for all you first timers.
Every one at the shop is nice and easy going. If you’re waiting for someone to get their tattoo done, they got movies playing, so you don’t need to be stuck on your phone (or if you forget your phone). Music is always playing and it’s always a good selection.

Had a great experience here with Marco. Walked in to run my ideas by someone for a tattoo I wanted on my foot. Marco took my ideas and combined them to make exactly what I wanted. I was able to get tatted 45 minutes later. He was easy to work with and had no problem making changes to his drawing to make it perfect for me. He took his time with placement and did it multiple times until it was right. This was my fourth tattoo. Albeit, it was my smallest, simplest and quickest one to date I am beyond happy with the result. It was something that could have been easily messed up because it is so simple. Marco rocked it and I love it!

Came in today just to look to see some work, ended up leaving with a sick ass rose tattoo the homie Marco hooked up. The people here are chill and laidback. owner is a strait badass while he still kept a professional and clean atmosphere. very impressed. Will be back.

Went for my 2^nd tattoo with Vince! It hurt. on my foot but Vince was the best!!! My sister went first and hers came out perfect. Mine is absolutely gorgeous!!! LOVE LOVE LOVEEE it!!! Thanks Vince!
Ps-​met the owner a couple weeks ago when I stopped by to have Vince look at my tattoo to make sure it was healing right… the owner was SOOO nice! Perfect gentleman! I could tell he really cared about who worked for him and he didn’t just want anyone in his shop!

So I called and spoke to Vince and had told him I was ready to start my half my sleeve! I met up with him and showed him what I liked and how I liked it and that I was open to ideas! Set up an appointment two weeks later and of course was a little skeptical whether or not I would like the sketch or not. But seriously I LOVED IT!!! I was aiming for a Filipino tribal sun theme, and wanted it to be a feminine looking one in a masculine type of way haha. Everything about it was on point, it’s super clean looking and the process was well worth it! Took about 3 and a half hours! I am definitely going to keep up these sessions to finish my half sleeve! I def recommend people looking at Sinned Studio, super clean and everyone is super friendly!

I’ve been wanting a tattoo for years now, but I just wasn’t set on what I wanted– this is going to be on me ’til I’m old and gray, so I want to make sure it’s everything I want it to be, and Big John delivered!
I came a few times to consult with him before getting tattoo’d. We talked about my ideas and what I wanted my first tattoo to represent and signify. The night before coming in, I was anxious and had some doubts about the first sketch he did on me, so I drew a simple sketch of the movement and flow that I wanted in my tattoo and he followed through! He used it as a guide and it’s everything that I wanted and more! The pain was ultimately worth it, and I get so many compliments on it. I can totally see myself getting addicted to getting more done!

I called around noon on Easter Sunday and spoke with Vince, who was able to work me in at 4 PM. I showed up with a picture of the tattoo I wanted and we went through a couple of sizings before landing on the right one. He explained the pricing options (hourly vs. flat fee) and we arrived at a very fair cost. It took about 3 hours, but it was well worth the time. Vince does great detail work, specializing in fine lines, and we passed the time with a great conversation about a lot of different topics. There’s a very down-​to-​earth, family & friends-​style vibe in the shop. Vince told me most of their customers become friends, and he gave me his cell number so I can check back in a few weeks for any touch-​ups that he might want to do — you can tell he’s a perfectionist who «owns» his work and he walked me through his best practices for tattoo after-​care. I couldn’t be happier with Vince’s service, and recommend him (and Sinned) to anyone looking for a high-​quality, affordable tattoo.

Actually came upon this place thanks to fellow Unilocalers. It was a Sunday and Funhouse on Garnet Ave was closed. I called Sinned Studio Tattoo at 5:30 PM and they set me up with Big John for 6:30.
Not sure who helped me over the phone but they made sure to text me the address and ask me if there was a picture I had in mind that I want to send over so they can prepare before I got there.
Big John was amazing! Coincidentally, he had already done a drawing of a peony at the beginning of the month, and it was prettier than the one I had originally wanted. He prepped another peony for my two-​flower piece in under 20 minutes, and the session only lasted an hour. My favorite tattoo so far. I requested a very clean look — no shading, no color — just the black outline on my forearm. It came out to only $ 120.
Highly recommended!

Wow! Glad I stopped in to check it out. Just when I thought it gets no better. My wife showed me some love here. The staff is very polite, the music and place is out of sight! Most important the price is right!

We tend to write reviews for one of two reasons, either we had a really bad experience on the exact opposite and had such a great experience we had yo share. I’m sure other tat shops will have reviews that read great artists, very talented ect and all of that is true as well at Sinned Studio but one thing that stands out even more besides their exceptional talent is their character. I have many tattoos from various shops before I came across Sinned Studio, many are cocky and want to push their ideas onto you or can careless about your work and just do what you ask without even offering any word to help make your lifetime work an epic pieces. So here’s the why you shpuld choose them over others, they will listen to your ideas, offer their advices without you feeling intimidated or that your idea is impossible or stupid. Their personal customer service helps ensures you end up with a piece you will never regret. Long review I know but I am really that much of a believer in this shop and it starts from the top. Stop by and meet the artists and the owners, you’ll see for yourself. I got my home tattoo covered up here plus added a Buddha on my chest, I can say a lot but all I’ll say is this work does not need any cover up, I love it lol

So before 2013 I had one tiny tat that I got like 10 years ago… in mid-​2013 (like August) my cousin, who gets his tattoos at Sinned Studios, said he would make me an appointment with Dizzy.
Me: I don’t know what I want yet.
Him: you’ll have time, let me text him.
Me: umm… okay…
Short pause
Him: so he can take you on February 15^th
Me: WTH!!!
Him: it will totally be worth the wait
Me: okay… book it
Fast forward… consultation in January-ish…I felt very comfortable expressing what I was looking for, as we had previous communication about the general direction that I wanted. Dizzy said he would like to further discuss it at the consultation, at which time I asked he what he thought… he made some suggestions and said that he would send me a sketch a week or so before me appointment. When he sent it, I was super impressed, it was exactly what I was hoping for only better! Moving on to my first session in February… the studio was super clean, relaxing and Dizzy and his apprentice, at the time, were super welcoming and helped me relax (I’m a little A.D.D.ish & I get a little anxious to make matters worse). He provided the post care instructions and reminded me to call or text if I had any questions… probably a big mistake on his end… in addition to the A.D.D. & anxiety… I’m an over-thinker…if there is a dumb question to be asked I have likely asked it or will. Thanks for being so patient with me. Best experience ever!!! So now after a half back piece, half sleeve, a thigh piece & several appointments on the books for 2015 let me assure you every appointment was worth the wait!
