Hands down an amazing hairstylist! I put my full trust in her when it comes to hair. She gives an Expensive look, at an affordable price. Best hair I have ever had. I walked into her salon having no idea what to do with my hair but knew I wanted something different. I put my full trust in her. And she delivered! She gave me a subtle change that made a huge difference! Based on what I wanted but what what I was actually capable of doing in hair styling, she gave me a style I can easily manage! I love curls and waves but am not very good at styling my hair on my own. But with the cut and style Skylar gave me, my hair does it on it’s own! From now on, I will go in there and continue to put my trust in Skylar and let her do anything she thinks will look best on me because she is that good!

Skylar is amazing! I am a hair virgin (never dyed or colored it before) and she gave me an awesome new do. I am nothing less than THRILLED with my dark brown to purple ombré and beautiful long layered locks. I was a little nervous about putting bright purple in my hair… but this girl knows exactly what she is doing and made it look fabulous. Her salon is very clean and filled with lots of art and great tunes. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their hair to look great. I put my full trust in her with my hair!

Skylar is AMAZING!!! I’ve been going to her for highlights, lowlights and cuts for over a year now and have been happy every single time! She’s extremely professional, easy to get a hold of and easy to make appointments with. Her salon is super cute and she uses quality products!
The main problem I have with highlights and lowlights is that sometimes it looks really chunky and unnatural but not with Skylar! She’s really good about blending and I never have obvious lines when my hair starts to grow out.
About 3 months ago she did my Brazilian blowout and I could not be happier! I went from having to spend 30 – 45 minutes after every shower blow drying and straightening my hair with a flat iron to being able to get out of the shower and not even having to comb my hair because it dries so perfectly. My hair dries without any frizz or kinks but I still have lots of natural volume. Even the super curly baby hairs right around my face are pin straight! Plus, since I haven’t been using heat on my hair for 3 months it looks and feels healthier than I’ve ever seen it! 3 months later and most of my hair is still pretty straight, theres a few areas that are wavy but not enough that it looks bad, I still haven’t broken out my straighter!
Skylar is really passionate about what she does and she’s very meticulous about her work. You will be happy if you go to her!

By far the best salon that I have ever been to. The building is absolutely gorgeous. Being right in the middle of mission/​fashion valley she is very easy to get to. Skylar makes your haircut a pleasant experience with pleasant conversation and great music! She always makes sure that you leave happy and it is difficult for anyone else to beat her prices! With the current economic conditions it is nice to know that you can always look like a million bucks with out having to spend a fortune on a haircut. I can tell that she is by far the best!

Skylar is AWESOME. I’ve spent years in San Diego trying to find a stylist who can figure out what to do with my mop of hair. When I find them they always seem to vanish, or be ultra flakey artist types.
Not so with Ms. DeLong, she’s an artist, yes, but she’s also a consummate professional. And she’s fun. If you’ve got to spend some time getting your do did, you might as well do it with someone who has a great attitude and sense of humor. Her pricing is more then fair. Folks I’ve referred to her become converts immediately. All in all 5 star.
If your ready for a mullet free, attitude free, great time with exceptional results, give this lady a jingle. (If you really want a mullett, this probably isn’t the joint for you.)

Skylar is amazing as what she does. I let her do whatever she wants because I know that it is always going to come out looking wonderful. She takes more time on my hair than any other stylist I have had and she is VERY reasonable. I love her, and would recommend her to anyone in San Diego.
