It used to be my favorite spot on campus, I came back after winter break and they cut the portions in half, keeping the same price. for example, the south west bowl used to have 2 pieces of chicken, a ton of rice cheese etc… now they changed the chicken quality and they give you only one piece. they will never see me again

MUAHAHAHAHA! I can leave a review for a place on campus that’s so bad but so good. I love coming here and getting the $ 6 boneless wings meal because it’s really filling and, in spite of the wings being obviously storebought and frozen, it’s pretty good. HOWEVER, on numerous occasions I’ve received less-than-stellar service from the disgruntled college kids who work here. Like someone else mentioned, whenever I ask for blue cheese, they seem really annoyed. Every time. Also, nowhere is it mentioned or noted that refills aren’t free. When I came back to refill my drink, the dude at the register tried to get me to pay for a new one completely — LOL, NOPE! I just can’t resist. Those wings are so good.

The bowls are filling and delicious, The salads are also filling and delicous. But OHMY Goodness Gracious, the staff there is ridiculous! Super rude and careless. Sofie and Megan’s reviewsare absolutely right. I used to go there last semester, and I would stand there at the register… waiting and waiting… what was I waiting for? For the 2 employees to finish their loud chit chatty gossip and simply ring me up so I could leave. Everytime I went there too.

I eat here sometimes during my class breaks. It’s A-OK. The line is sometimes long. The employees could care less about the customers. And it seems like they get annoyed when you have a special request such as «ranch on the side please.» But, the food is alright. I like the Santa Fe salad. I always get it with crispy chicken and ask for the dressing on the side. They have been a little stingy with the avocado but ehhh whatever. It’s better than all the other fatty options on campus.

ok, so I had this as a 5-star because I absolutely loved this place and ate there twice a week when I had classes. I would always get the santa fe salad or wrap with zesty chicken and honey mustard and it was delicious and the guys who worked there were always friendly and helpful. However, the last couple semesters they have gotten a new group of student workers in there and they are rude and careless(messy) with the food. There is one girl in particular(I want to say she is in some sort of lead position because she acts like she owns the whole place) and she is by far the rudest of all and acts like this is the last place she wants to be. If the guys are working don’t bother ordering a wrap because they will tear it and then just wrap up the mess for you to deal with(this is when I switched to just having salads to avoid this mess). One time when I did order a wrap they forgot to put the dressing on so after sitting down at my table and opening it up I had to go the whole way back to get dressing and they tried to charge me for it! So the service sucked but I could still get a decent product until this semester when they got rid of zesty chicken altogether and your choices are grilled or crispy chicken. I’m pretty sure the grilled chicken comes frozen and they thaw it out and heat it up and there’s a bunch of cartilage pieces in it(gross!) and the crispy is so greasy it’s disgusting and the quality is seriously lacking on both! Seriously, there’s a lot of places to eat on campus and this is the last one I would recommend now even though I used to tell everyone to go there. I go to Daphne’s now.

if you ever wondered why most americans are obese nowadays, look no further for perfect example of traditional american food. So-Cal Chicken basically, almost all of the food that they serve consists of carbs, oil laden chicken, toppings, fatty sauces, and sodas. the only exception here is in salad, they add vegetables into it take an example of their 5 dollar meals, it consists of fries, chicken strips, sauces like ranch or honey mustard, and sodas… to proof my point about american obesity, they even have this menu called«all american bowl» which consists of huge load of mashed potatoes, drizzled with gravy, topped with cheese and corn, then of course, fried chicken pieces. the price is just like typical sdsu food, overpriced i still give this place 2 ratings though because even in their busiest hour, they’re not that crowded. probably now americans have started to become more health conscious due to the health care policy that’s about to be changed soon
