Absolutely love this place. They are always so quick with my order. And the burgers are always so tasty and juicy. And if I ask for a personal addon they always are accommodating

I had a regular char burger and once the cashier started naming off every single topping, sauce, vegetable known to burger kind to add to the burger I was already uneasy. This is supposed to show how much variety they have to offer but to me this type of action screams«our patties are super tiny and thin, please bury it in as many other items as possible so you don’t notice». Sure enough I get halfway through the sandwich and I still couldn’t discern the actual beef flavor. I had to take a bite specifically out of the patty itself before I could tell anything about it and at it was«meh» at best. Normally at a serious grill restaurant with indoor seating and covered outside seating like The Habit, I expect at least some kind of seasoning. Instead I got something that was one shade better than drive thru quality. Frankly this tasted like fresh drive thru beef and was the same size. The fries were also very underwhelming. Decent amount but no real flavor to them. They lacked salt or seasonings, were kind of spongy, and were very airy. I wouldn’t say the food was bad but it’s very disappointing considering the price, wait time, and quality of the location that the food was so standard. The Habit is for people that enjoy lots of toppings on their burgers but for me I get a hamburger for grilled taste of rich beef, not to have a salad on a bun.

Always smells great outside… Luring you in for an enjoyable meal. Comparable to In N Out in my opinion — offering more variety at a higher price.

Since I started working in the area, this has been a great burger restaurant. I get the double char, no cheese with raw onions combo. Always been good. My last two trips. No banana peppers!!! Without those, it is nothing special. The fries are not as good either. I’m not sure if it is just this location or all locations. If they don’t bring them back, my coworkers and I cannot eat there anymore… And please fix the fries. Some are over salted, some are less than done. It’s like a mixed bag of fries from different batches or something. I had the same issue with my last trip. The fries were ice cold and had to have been sitting around forever. Gross!

We were very satisfied with the food but when you pay almost $ 3 with tax for bacon(12% of the bill) and get home only to find neither burger has bacon, it’s a little disappointing. I understand it could have been a simple human error, so if on my next visit I don’t encounter the same issue I would gladly change my rating. But as a first time experience, it stands at only two stars. To think the business can make a pretty penny scamming off the top of each customer is a little unsettling.

Went here yesterday gotta a double char(burger) with cheese & avocado, frings(½ fries, ½ onion rings) and a drink. The burger comes with the works but it was surprisingly small in size. The patties were no bigger than a McDonald’s regular hamburger & the overall sandwich size was tiny(bout the same as a Big Mac). The biggest shock was the price. The burger alone(including the price of avocado) was $ 10! My total 4 the combo was almost $ 12! For the price of my 1 combo meal I could have gone 2 In & Out next door 2 this place and bought 2 Double Double combos & would have come back with change. The flavor of the patty was unimpressive. The onion rings & fries were good, but for a $ 10 burger you could go 2 Outback, get a 1⁄3 lb. flame grilled burger with bacon & cheese & fries & it would taste better!!!

It was super busy at this location on Sunday during lunch time. I got the albacore filet sandwich two separate times and both times they were a little over cooked and the sandwich bread was too buttery for my liking. And the sweet potato fries were over fried. The onion rings however were not bad! I’ve tried their classic chargrilled burger before, which is really good but I’d still rather go to InnOut for fast food burger cravings. Their customer service is great though. Always friendly and they walk around asking to take your trash away.

My coworkers had raved about The Habit’s burgers, and after seeing an ad insert in my local paper for their Tempura Jalapeño Burger for under $ 5, I owed it to myself to come here and check it out. I ordered the burger, along with a regular drink($ 1.80) and a side of the tempura fried green beans($ 2.95) — total cost for my meal was a shade over $ 10. Granted, the burger was fresh and a shade spicy; the guy taking my order asked if I was okay with the tempura fried jalapenos, spicy jalapeño ranch mustard, and grilled onions… but as it turned out, while the kick was there, I was expecting it to be a bit more spicy. The fact that the burger wasn’t as seasoned as I would’ve liked didn’t help matters much. But, the saving grace of The Habit were those tempura battered green beans — ooh, were they good and crispy, and with that side of ranch… delicious! I would easy come back to the The Habit for these! Service was friendly, and I liked the condiment bar with its assortment of peppers. Also, there’s plenty of drink choices to choose from; I alternated between the pomegranate lemonade and the strawberry limeade. Seating can be a bit tight — when I went, it was lunchtime, but I was able to find a comfy space in the patio. Overall, not too bad — while I wish there were more combo choices, at least the food is fresh, and those fried green beans are worth more visits if I’m in the area.

I went to habit and got quite a bit of stuff, including a chocolate shake and French fries. I was disappointed by both. The fries were cold and didn’t have any crispness to them. The milkshake tasted like a cold powdered mixed chocolate milk and the whipped cream was like paper. It was pretty bad and I like whipped cream! I’ve even had it by itself and liked whipped cream but the one they have isn’t good. I was really disappointed with my visit.

Location is perfect. Parking is spacious. Workers are super friendly. I’m not a sandwich lover but this place reminds me of a upscale in and out fast food place. Kind of pricey. Really huge sandwiches! And I like how I can have my onions grilled and I like how they offer sweet potato fries! This place is very family oriented and clean as well!

One step up from in-n-out. I have to say that the Charburger is pretty yummy. The lettuce and grilled onions. Yellow peppers, jalapeño, peppercinis. It is pretty mouth watering but I’d give it a 4⁄5 because it’s not melt in your mouth heaven. I personally don’t recommend stepping out of the box and trying the fish or steak, just not totally amazing or worth it. Don’t forget! Ask for a side of ranch! It’s made to perfection!

This place is better quality than other fast food places, but still lower than gourmet burgers. I would say it’s at the same level as Smashburger, but cheaper. Their charburgers are amazing and they fill you right up. For just $ 7 you can get a combo which includes the charburger, fries, and a drink. The menu up front explains exactly what is in the items and what is included. That way, you know if you want to have anything taken out if you don’t like something. The meat in the burger is perfectly juicy and thick, and it’s topped off with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I love how they used shredded lettuce instead of the whole leaf so that we don’t take the whole thing in one bite. Their onion rings seem to be super popular, and for a good reason. There is a perfect crust-to-onion ratio that you don’t get too much fried batter like in some places. They’re a good size, and they’re covered in breaded crumbs that make it nice and crunchy. One thing that I can only find here is their pepper bar! I loved putting peppers in my in-n-out burgers, and now I can do it here too, with more selections! They have banana peppers, which are the ones I use, pepperocinis, and jalapenos. They also have a few other sauces that you can add to your food, such as Worcestershire sauce and malt vinegar. The entire area is kept nice and clean, though I did notice that there was a slight stickiness in the restroom. The cashiers are friendly and they make sure that everything that is included in your order(including lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, etc) is okay with you. We also waited for our food for a decent amount of time, considering it was full and the line was going out the door.

I usually don’t like onion rings, but here I love them. They aren’t like usual onion rings with too much batter. These are just perfect. The fries are good only if you’re eating them there. But if you order it to go it isn’t as good and they get soggy real quick. Try a double charburger with cheese, bacon and avocado. The shakes are good also. I usually order one to go for on the way home. They have plenty of seats inside and some outside but at certain times it has been so busy where you have to wait to have a place to sit at.

Even though this is a chain, it never disappoints me. Everything from the charburger with cheese, to the teriyaki burger, mushroom swiss burger, and santa barbara style burger, is freshly made, with delicious toppings. Just thinking about it makes me crave it! The salads are also great, a little on the expensive side compared to the burgers, but definitely a healthier option. They always grill the chicken/steak for the salads fresh, and I recommend the Ranch dressing. The french fries are perfectly salty, and the onion rings are my absolute favorite. Consistently cheap, fast, and delicious!

Located on Carmel Mt. Road next to Rubios, I think it’s better tasting than In-N-Out. Prices are pretty cheap compared to other similar types of places, and this seems to be a little better quality. You can get a burger for $ 3-$ 4 depending on the kind you want. They cook to order for those who need to order with no salt. Friendly workers, convenient locations and great prices. While we don’t eat burgers that frequently, if I was craving one, I’d eat this for a fraction of the cost of Islands, Claim Jumper or Red Robin. They’re near The Bar Method and Corebody Pilates so I can hit a ClassPass then not feel guilty eating here :)

It was a choice of going to the gym or trying this restaurant out… I opted for the burger. I was in the area and have seen so many other people review and I’ve been wanting to try. But honestly, I just figured they were just another version of Burger Lounge, Smashburger, and so many others. I’m here to say they are NOT like any others. They are located in a large strip mall with plenty of parking. I walked in and the indoor dining area was pretty full and there was a small line to the counter. They also have a nice outdoor dining area to enjoy the great weather. The menu is prominently displayed above the counter and they have many options even for non-meat eaters. But I was here to have a burger! We ordered the Double Charburger and the Double Charburger on Sourdough and a side of Onion Rings. The server at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. You can see the area where they cook the burgers as it’s wide open and the kitchen looks very clean. We got our drinks at the self serve station and they serve fresh brewed iced tea! They also have a self serve ketchup area which I know I appreciate. I hate the little ketchup packets. And something unique that I’ve never seen at a burger place was a «pepper» bar. They had jalapeño’s, yellow chili peppers, and pepperoncini’s. What a great idea and a great addition to the burgers. We were given a sort of pager so when our food was ready. We found a table to sit at and the inside of the restaurant is pretty clean. You can’t help but smell the fresh grilled burgers throughout the dining area. It wasn’t long before our fresh burgers were ready and so were we. We picked them up and there was someone to greet us and make sure the order was correct. We took it back to our table and it all looked amazing, we only hoped it tasted equally amazing. It did! I’m a huge fan of a grilled burger on sourdough and I can honestly say there is no equal to their Sourdough Cheeseburger! The meat is grilled to perfection with just the right amount of cheese, lettuce and tomato. I had some of the yellow chili peppers to go along with the burger and that really brought out the full flavor of the burger. We split the burgers in half so I was able to try the traditional Double Char Cheeseburger and it was also incredible! And before I forget, the onion rings. I’m not sure if they make their onion rings but they taste as if they do. Very fresh and good breading. Nice and hot and they didn’t go limp as they cooled down. They stayed nice and crispy. What can I say except I think I might have found my new«go-to» place for burgers. Hopefully I will find myself in this area more often but even if not, I can make the special trip. We didn’t finish all of our food and took the rest home and I am VERY happy to discover they also use recyclable to-go containers! That put them up in the 5 Star category for me. Great place, amazing food, incredible customer service! I forgot to mention there was a young man walking around just asking if anyone needed anything and was talking to some of the tables. Usually you see the manager/owner doing this but this guy was one of the servers and he was quite genuine as he approached each table. If I could offer a couple of suggestions to the owner/manager: — The doors were wide open and there were flies in the restaurant and seem intent on landing on our food once we got it. Maybe keep your doors closed or install those blowers so the flies can’t get in — The smoke from the burgers cooking was a bit heavy at times and needs to be vented better. We were actually coughing from all the smoke at one point

So, I’m not a big burger fan and I normally stay away from burger places because I just prefer anything but hamburger. I figured, I’d rather use my calories on something like a delicious salad. Per my fiancé’s request, we decided to grab a burger after working out nearby. I had never been to Habit(because of the aforementioned situation) so he decided to «treat» me to my first burger in 6 months. Needless to say, I had a good experience! The food came out quickly and the burger didn’t leave me feeling like I just ate a bucket of grease. I got the #1 which is their original burger, fries, and a drink. It was $ 6.50 + tax. They had a little condiment bar with banana peppers, which was nice. We sat on the patio(which is dog-friendly) and enjoyed basking under the sun while enjoying our lunch. Overall, I had a good experience and recommend you stop by for a burger! I was also eyeing a guy’s Caesar salad because it looked delicious! I might have to come back next time and order that!

I love the outdoor seating, my girlfriend and I can dine with our dog! I was able or order a non seasoned chicken breast for the little guy. Depending on how hungry I am, I’ll go char or double char. I like the teriyaki char with the pineapple. Then I add Swiss cheese and grilled onions. The fries are decent… but I prefer the tempura green beans! So good with ranch or ketchup! The service was awesome, they even offered to bring my dog water outside. Only downside is their burgers are a tad on the small side, but a double char always fills me up. I personally wouldn’t compare it to In N Out, cause both are great in their own way and Habit feels almost like a restaurant cause there is no drive thru. In N Out is definitely the best drive thru burger, but Habit is the most affordable dine in type of burger. Either way with them next to each other, they’re both good quick and affordable burger options.

I like that slowly but surely more Habit Burger Grills have been opening around town because since the first time I tried them a few years ago, I have been a fan. On this visit, I ordered their signature Double Char Cheese and a side of fries, and of course, unlimited trips to some ice tea. The double char cheese was one good looking and it was a shame I had to eventually devour it, and after added some black pepper, simply because that is just the way I roll, I was ready to dig in( ). The all beef patties were very juicy and flavorful and had a good texture. The only thing they needed, was a little seasoning, but I easily took care of that( ). I liked that they doubled up on the cheese, because when I decided to eat a burger, which is not often, I like to make it real. The sesame bun was was moist and soft, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and especially the caramelized onions were tasty. I liked the few amount of pickles the burger came with were crispy and not soft. The french fries were a good golden color, where crispy, well seasoned, and went very well with the Cholula hot sauce( ). Service was very upbeat and personable. I liked the young lady that was going around the table and asking if they wanted their trash thrown away. A nice touch for a fast food eatery. I like a good burger…
