Review is for the pharmacy. Slow and poor customer service. I waited 15 minutes on hold to call in my refill. When I was finally able to talk to a person, I specifically requested that the prescription be ready today, and was told it would be. Then, after driving there hours later and waiting 15 minutes for the pharmacist to even come over to the counter, I get told that my prescription wasn’t set to be ready until tomorrow. Unacceptable.

It was an ok experience. I never got asked if I needed help or anything like that. I couldn’t find what I was looking for and ended up leaving empty handed. They had started putting their valentines decorations out but it was only half done and very sporadic.

The people there are nice but their refill system is horribly flawed. Several times, I will get notifications that my prescription is ready and then I get there and its not. Or, I will refill it, let’s say 30 tabs on the 15th of the month, then they won’t let me refill until the 21st of the month, because of their system? Has nothing to due with my insurance. They are going to end up hurting somebody badly.

Need antibiotics for a severe infection, my medicine would have fallen through the cracks if I hadn’t called and waited on hold for 49 minutes to trigger them to fill it. Here and they still have no idea what I was looking for. Hopefully I don’t die.

This Walgreens can be sketchy at night. Bring pepper spray. I have had to come here twice for passport photos. Both times they have been very helpful considering the two times I came were pretty late. There are some interesting characters that come through here.

This is the slowest pharmacy drive through experience I have ever had. I have no other choice by my house. The Walgreens in point Loma is way better. No matter what time or even if there is one car it takes over 30 minutes — do not come here

They never answer the phone and never have my Rx ready on time. Enough said. Unfortunately, the CVS across the street is just as bad as their system is always down, so you can never get your Rx from them anyway. I would recommend maybe an independent pharmacy if possible. Unfortunately they seem to have a monopoly on the area.

My doctor had called in an prescription but when I came in to pick it up, the guy at the countertop told me that she hadn’t called anything in. Then the guy got annoyed and impatient with me as I tried to figure out why. Finally, he said that he would check their voicemail. Low and behold, there it was. I give them two stars because they did find it, but the guys attitude deserved one star. Word of advice, check your voicemails. Sick people depend on you being on top of it.

I’m typically pretty satisfied with this Walgreens as its the one I come to most. however, tonight I was incredibly disappointed. This girl, yes, girl. not a woman by any means. was so rude to me tonight. I’m not sure if she was having a bad night or what but she must GO! First of all, all of the items I was trying to purchase came out to $ 2 and some change more than I had. so I asked her if it was alright if I ran out to my car to grab a few more bucks. she looked at me with the most pissed off, bitchy face EVER& didn’t acknowledge the question so I asked her, ‘is that ok’? she said, super bitchy to go along with that ugly bitch face. ‘Well, I guess I have to wait, don’t I’? I then asked her, ‘can you only take my $ 20′. she rolled her eyes, I turned around and left. When I walked outside I noticed a man, George who’s worked there for a good while now, I told him that ‘Maria’ needed some serious customer service work. she was awful. As I was talking to him about this person. anther woman drove up and told him the exact same thing I was telling him. just how rude she was and just. not good at all. ALSO– Maria had hickies all over her neck! Umm, customer service. AREYOUSERIOUS? She was all around, disgusting & just not appealing at all. anybody notices her when you’re there. do yourselves a favor and go to another cashier.

While all pharmacy’s seem to be a pain in the butt, this one is especially difficult. It took me about 20 minutes just to get through on the phone. Once they answered me they acted very put out by my inquiries. When I arrives to pick up my prescription they were slightly more patient. I think it’s important for them to realize they are working in customer service.

The store’s set up is good, and each time you, or someone walks in a computerized voice welcomes you to Walgreens. If the associates can’t or don’t do it, let the computer do it, right? Overall, I find prices a little more expensive compared to other stores. The only thing that brought me in was their Ben en Jerry’s deal for 3.99(not the cheapest deal around, but still convenient). Sadly, the ice cream came out crystallized and didn’t have that creamy texture anymore. Oh and by the way, I think the cashier here is addicted to some kind of prescription medicine. Maybe that’s why she works here?

Nice friendly service, and easy to navigate, found a lot of good deals. When I was checking out the cashier even went out of her way to check the add for a coupon to find me extra savings! Don’t ask me why but I liked the music playing over head. One minute I’m looking at toothpaste the next I’m shaking my booty to the music. I’m a sucker for a good beat. :)

I am sure that the rest of the store is fine, the staff seemed friendly, but the pharmacist tonight was pathetic. If I have a common medication, they should carry it, not just a handful of the pills. Secondly, if i ask when they will be getting more in, then a blank stare is not acceptable. I only came in because CVS across the street wasn’t able to fill any prescriptions at that time. I am really disappointed with Walgreens. They never have my medication, while everyone else seems to have it. I am not going to go back here. The pharmacist was not helpful, and if they don’t have my medication, then there is no point-especially when there is no indication of when it will be in. Next time that I want a similar experience, I will just talk to a wall.

I do wish there were separate places for pharmacy and the general store. I’ve never worked with the pharmacy here, but the general store is… OK. The staff here do seem to work hard and do care, but considering the location and the clientele they interact with in North Park does seem to wear them down. My only tip here is just a common decency tip; treat the staff well and they’ll treat you well. The selection here is like a typical Walgreens, nothing surprising.

I really enjoyed the Boutique type of Pharmacy I used to use, but it went out of business. Oh well, so I tried CVS. What a disaster. I suffered for a year thinking this is just the way a large pharmacy is, till Jan this year when I moved my prescriptions to Walgreens. What a difference! Knowledgeable people, caring and they really try to help with insurance issues. I especially like the 24 hour drive thru so I don’t have to wait in line with a bunch of other people who are there for the same reason – they also have the flu, colds, or whatever. Lastly, when I do go inside it is clean and orderly – no street people hanging around like at CVS. Thanks to all at Walgreens!

I pick up my prescriptions here. The discount program makes it cheaper… but the process is confusing and irritating. Frequently the price is incorrect. Oh well, at least it is open late and easy to find parking.

I’ve always seen this Walgreens sitting around and finally decided to check it out. It’s nothing amazing but definitely convenient. The service was professional and the place was well organized and stocked. Depending on what you’re getting, prices range from good to above-average. Even though my experience was pleasant, there just felt like something was off about this place. I couldn’t put my finger on it but I just wanted to get out once I got what I needed. Overall, Walgreens is a great place to go to get something quick rather than going the extra distance to a bigger store. I’m not a huge fan of this location but it gets the pass by my standards. It is worth stopping by if you need to.

This place is horrible, pharmacy staff is rude. The customer service is horrible, and come off as they just do not like doing their job. One staff member, Michael is the absolute worst one of them all. When you have a prescription to fill or pick up he really makes it out as if you are an inconvenience to him. I’ve dropped off a prescription and was told that there was not enough insurance information, After calling in the information the prescription is still not ready because it was never put into the computer for authorization. We will be going to another pharmacy.

Organized, clean, and friendly. That is what I expect from my neighborhood Walgreens. I’ve been here more times that I can count.(More than my check-ins show.) Plus, they also have a Redbox inside next to the cashier. When I walk in, I am greeted with a friendly attitude… I like friendly people! Next, their make-up section is well stocked, and clean. Compared to some other drug stores that have a mess going on. I have not used their photo center. So, no comment on that. Overall I give this Walgreens 5 Stars for friendly service, efficient check out, and a clean store. Oh, and thank you for the Redbox inside. Easy, no line… compared to CVS.
