How can this place only have 4.5 that is insane. Best I have ever had, thank you. The cashier was a master, mind blown. Thank You

Very cute café in the San Dimas area. I can definitely see why this place receives such high marks. I like that you can just order at the counter and take a seat. I like that there is an outdoor patio. I absolutely loved the agua fresca that I had — Plum sage. I will definitely come back for that. I just think I ordered the wrong things? I had a waffle. I love waffles but this one was too crispy for me. It was a bit burnt. I also ordered the French toast with a berry compote. I really liked the compote but I was not a fan of the type of bread used for the French toast. I think it was a baguette cut diagonally. It could have been better, maybe softer. I did not try anything savory though and I think this place is worth checking out again for their other menu items.

Ever feel like having a chic and perfect breakfast/lunch? Well if so this is THE place to go. My friend had referred me to this place since I’ve been complaining that«The Corner Bakery» hasn’t been the same since they have been franchising. So it’s in the middle of I would call it «Dessert San Dimas» right next to a Kinder Care. The parking is super limited but rustic wooden Spanish style doors really caught my eye. As I walked in, I took a minute because my eyes had to adjust from the bright sunny day outside to a more dim setting. I was very confused what to do there was just a rope leading to the cash register and a friendly guy just smiling at me. The furniture/seating looked kind of like a smaller upgrade from chipotles concept, which is fine since I guess that cuts costs. So anyways, I finally figured out that the menus were by the guy at the register and as I was trying to figure out what to order a hoard of people came in and started ordering(this place must be poppin) So I ordered a sandwich and my husband orders the French toast. As we try to find a seat inside I remember my friend telling me there is an adorable patio so we finally locate the back patio and it was a trendy desert camping ground vibe that was cool! As we are totally admiring this cute little gem I am sipping on this amazing passion iced tea(I have a big thing for tea). So finally our food is brought out to us and we can’t stop admiring the presentation, just so beautiful and everything looks so delicious that I almost forgot to take a pic of our food! I finally got to take a bite of my food and I just melted! it was to die for! I eventually got to sneak a bite of my husbands food and wow! This French toast was so perfectly crunchy on the outside and warm and decadent on the inside!!! Overall the food is amazing! Only thing I would change is to make it in a area where parking isn’t so difficult to find and also to have a bigger patio, we live in Southern California being able to enjoy the sunshine is everything!

I have been to Twisted Sage for brunch a few times, and they never disappoint. The menu options are great!(i.e. Meaty biscuits and gravy, Maple bacon bread pudding and homemade waffles cooked with bacon inside). When you arrive, you have to wait in line to order your food, and be seated. The line usually goes by quick and is definitely worth the wait. I really enjoy the food and atmosphere. The food is flavorful and unique in preparation, and the café’s indoor and outdoor seating is quaint and makes for an enjoyable eating experience. The staff is great, they’re attentive and friendly. The menu, the food, the atmosphere and the staff, are all reasons why I will definietly be bringing more friends here for brunch.

Good quality food for a reasonable price. There is lovely outdoor seating and the service is friendly. They do get quite busy during peek hours for breakfast and lunch, so I like to go earlier or later to avoid the crowd. Also, they request that you not seat yourself until you queue up and order first. I highly recommend Twisted Sage. You won’t be disappointed. :)

Finally stopped in, after many times driving by, and I was not disappointed! Long line, so it wasn’t a quick stop, but the food was delicious! Portions were just right — plenty of food, but not so much that you leave feeling like you need a nap. Had the pulled pork benedict — soooooooo yummmmmmy!

This place is such a little gem. Great for breakfast and lunch. The food is always great here. Love the outside seating. I usually get the omelet no matter what time I get here. But today I chose a lunch option. The veggie sandwich. It was so good. You get a die with it which is awesome. Honesty if you’re in the area. Or are looking for a new breakfast spot. You can’t pass on this place. Food is great and service is great.

What an amazing little gem. Food is amazing staff super friendly and cute ambiance. This is the kind of place you would find in the west side which is a big plus for me the fact that I don’t have to take the hike into L.A. for some yummy food I’m in love! This is definitely my new spot. Well done Twisted Sage!!!

Only reason I’m giving it 4 and not 5 stars today is because of the service. The staff today were just so uptight and aggressive while we were waiting in line to order… maybe it’s cause they were rushing to close earlier for their private event or something? I don’t know but still it wasn’t necessarily appreciated. As far as the food is concerned, I’ll admit it’s great. Had the breakfast croissant sandwich, but changed it up a bit and had my eggs cooked over medium and added avocado. Breakfast potatoes are really good… my brother changed his potatoes to the chipotle potatoes and they are absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the additional 2 bucks. Friend at my table had the steak sandwich and a side of Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was delicious, but definitely not the best I’ve had. The steak sandwich tho… there really is something about having medium cooked steak paired up in a sandwich with arugula. It was delicious, definitely worth the try. I just hope next time I show they aren’t so aggressive. Doesn’t cost anything to be kind.

I wish I could give 4.25 stars — it is better than 4 stars, but not good enough for 5 stars. We went there today for breakfast and arrived at 9:45. There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which isn’t unreasonable for such a sunny Sunday. We ordered a French Toast plate with sausage, a blue cheese twisted potato, and a pulled pork eggs Benedict. The service was great, very friendly and quick. Despite being busy, we were able to find a nice table on the patio. The potatoes were great, good sized portion, plenty of cheese. The pulled pork Benedict was good, but not amazing. The eggs were poached to perfection and there was LOTS of pork. The Chulula Holindase was good, not too spicy. But the pork was a bit dry, and in the end it didn’t come together into the taste I was hoping for. Good, but not great. The french toast was very good, along with the sausage, but again I wouldn’t say it was the best ever. This was a sold 4 start place, serving good food with friendly service, which is a great thing. The food is not quite 5-star good, but if I’m in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

My favorite breakfast-lunch spot. Everything is always spot on! Creative and tasty creations. Love the seared ahi salad with wasabi dressing. The salad mix is crunchy and fresh, the dressing has an awesome kick and the ahi is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Mac and cheese is rich and always a favorite. Fast and friendly service. To go orders available. Great environment. Nice indoor and outdoor patio seating available. Love the twisted sage!!!

Hidden Gem! Excellent Service & Great Food We came here for Mother’s Day brunch. My husband usually leaves it up to me to pick a spot to eat. Based on Unilocal reviews and my mood, I chose Twisted Sage. At first we passed it but with the help of rerouting on the phone we made a u-turn and found it. We parked in their parking lot and walked to the entrance. There was a line of people waiting, which frustrated me a little(because I hate waiting). But they had servers rotating out with small samples for the people waiting in line. We tasted scones, chocolate raspberry mouse, and Stumphouse coffee while we waiting. They also gave us menus to help us figure out what we wanted to order before we got inside. I’d say we waiting about 15 – 20 mins. Then we made it inside to place our order. I ordered the jalapeño cream cheese burger, and my husband had the lox Benedict with French onion soup. My son had a chicken panini and mini order of the Mac and cheese with bacon. For drinks we decided to be adventurous and get the fresh squeezed juices. Lemon with lavender, strawberry thyme, and plain orange juice. Food and drinks were all delicious. But that’s not even the bestest part of our dining experience. The staff was AMAZING. I’ve never seen a team work in such unison to keep things running smoothly. Everyone pitched in. If a table finished eating, it was cleared and wiped down almost immediately. Whether it was a waitress, or busboy/bus girl, or owner — anyone working there did whatever it took to keep tables running efficiently. No one had the attitude of «it’s not my job». I think the owner or Manager was a woman who was wearing French braids and a striped skirt. She was bustling around keeping everything on track. And I heard her yell out in the back, «thank you all! You guys are doing great. I love you all!» She was passionate and appreciative of her staff and it seems they give her the same passion right back. We will be back, and we will spread the word. This place is amazing.

* Five Stars based on breakfast burrito only * Seriously, if you are reading this and undecided about what to get here … please please just STOP and order a breakfast burrito. I have had my «breakfast burrito» spot for years. Lets say, seriously, over ten years … I’ve always got my breakfast burrito’s from one place. ANDDARN you Twisted Sage — you have just replaced«my spot». You are a true gem, when it comes to breakfast burritos. I order mine with Ham and Bacon, extra cheese. Not going to lie, it is pricey when you order two meats and extra cheese, but HOLY freaken cow, i’ll pay it all day! Twisted Sage … you are my new breakfast burrito hero!

Ooooh yeah. A buddy brought me here on a Friday morning before we hit the golf course. He said it was a must we eat here. Not a real big place, but the décor is really nice. You order at the front and then you can sit anywhere you want and they bring out the food to you. The menus are at the counter, as well as a nice array of muffins right next to it. The guy taking our order did a nice job and made sure we were satisfied. I ordered the build it yourself omelette. I got sausage, spinach, tomatoes, with cheese and it comes with a side of potatoes. It came out quick and it was super delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything inside tasted fresh. One of the best omelettes I have had! Everything about this place is great. They also give you cool looking mugs if you order coffee. No need to throw your trash away, they come and pick it up for you. I will be back if in the area to try the breakfast burrito!

Great Service. Only been open a year i believe and already this almost secret spot draws out a big crowd. I love the rustic almost hipster fill that comes with Twisted Sage Café. The outdoor patio is where you should dine esp on a beautiful day, and I think it is even pet friendly since its outdoors. My number one thing is service and from the front dest to the staff picking and dropping off our foods were super duper cherry and helpful! I asked about the bread pudding and wondered if it was going to taste just as good without bacon(since I’m a vegetarian) and the girl didn’t try to sale me and said no. its not gonna be the same. Our bunch meals were all yummy for our tummy. The hash brown was a bit heavy but it had chipotle sauce drench on it so it was obviously hearty. Over all good times !

This place is a gold mine. Atmosphere is amazingly charming and chic. It’s like modern country in the city. The service is out of this world. Could not be any more friendly and accommodating if they tried. The food is so mouthwatering that it doesn’t matter what you get, you will crave it and have to come back.

This place is perfect in every way so let’s break it down a little: 1. The quality of the food and it’s ingredient is top-notch. I have been here many times now and their food is really consistent. The quality of the food is supreme and can you believe they served«Stumptown Coffee»? This place is a must try. 2. Service here is also excellent. I cannot find anything wrong about it. They are pretty busy but they still find the time to come and check on you. How great is that? Every time you need something they get it for you right away with a smile. I love their customer service. 3. The atmosphere of this place is like you’re going to picnic. The outside seating is surrounded by nature. Very nice and the breeze… wow! Amazing. But if you are not the type of people who love to sit outside no worries, there are bunch of seats here inside the building. Let me tell you this place is super clean. Tips: 1. Biscuit and Gravy is super super super delicious. 2. Stumptown Coffee is free refill 3. Parking can be a bit difficult to find(such great place it’s no wonder why everybody want to eat here) If you can’t find parking, you can park in the next lot. I think it’s okay because I had done it…

Twisted Sage is located in the cutest strip mall ever — and I mean that unironically. It’s a Spanish stucco style little collection of shops — and there’s even a horse trail in front of it. My brunch buddy and I waited in line for about 10 minutes before placing our order at the counter and heading out back to the patio picnic tables. We took a seat in a nice, sunny spot and sipped our coffee while watching the horses go by — charming scene! Breakfast arrived about ten minutes after we sat down. The avocado, spinach and tomato omelette with salsa jack potatoes made my Saturday morning! I would definitely come back for a second serving of this hearty comfort food.

I came here last week to meet some of my coworkers for breakfast before heading to a meeting in Pomona. Twisted Sage is primarily known for its breakfast which is served all day! Other menu items include salads, wraps and sandwiches as well as kid’s menu section. Note that they serve Stumptown Coffee as well as Stumptown Cold Brew. They also provide catering(off-site and at the café for private events). They are more of a casual eatery and you pay first and have a seat. Our group ordered the Croissant Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito, Omelette, Breakfast Plate, and French Toast Plate. I ordered the French Toast Plate($ 8.00) which comes with two pieces of French toast, two eggs, and bacon or sausage with a triple berry compote. I chose to go with sausage. I also ordered a Chocolate Stumptown Cold Brew(like a strong coffee chocolate milk!). I thought everything tasted delicious. I also tried a blueberry scone and some roasted red potatoes. The interior is quite charming with the décor. I can see how it can get busy here. 151⁄100 Reviews for 2015
