Not really sure what the folks below were eating but I frequent this tent weekly and they sell out quickly because the food is good! Lol, when things are crossed out its usually because people are buying them! Try the Farmers porridge, if it’s not sold out already, and the east side noodles is also an awesome option, both are fresh and flavorful and full of quality ingredients… The ladies running the spot are always great and in response to the wait time mentioned by another reviewer i don’t know how you could be that impatient! They are not slow for the freshly prepared food you are receiving! Thx ladies hope to see you all soon for that unbelievable porridge

3 Bottled Fish had most of their cheaper offerings crossed off/sold out. seems bottom feeders shop here, buying all the cheap offerings. noodles @8 only other offering locale: stonestown farmers market(12⁄21). eats: breakfast banh Mi.(6) –alreadly prepared. fresh tasty, though pricey -«home made sausage, fried organic egg, jalepenos, carrots, cilantro, etc. in fluffy baquette. not toasty, just pillowy fluffy. fresh tasting –only sausage and mystery sauce tasted. egg, veggies no. jalepenos hell yes!(took them out) –no additives, msg tasted. crumbs: –came at end of day, no lines, almost no food either. just grab and go. 3.5 stars, good value for freshness/natural ingredients? yes.

One star for the good menu(they trick you into thinking it’s good)…that’s it. The food is bland and they take heeelllllllaaaaa long to make the food. Why does it take so long? Are they baking the bread for the banh mi??? Or are they growing the rice for their porridge? Whatever the case, it aint worth the wait… Unless you’re hungover and in need of porridge(like I am right now), you can give it a shot. But I’m letting you know it’s bleh.

I’ve officially had what was the most expensive and gawd-awful banh mi ever. $ 7 for a loaf with overly salty pork and hardly any vegetables? And to add insult to injury, it took 30 minutes to make, not 15 as promised. Never ever again will you get my business.

3.5STARS No line. Ordered the Nem Nuong(Sausage) Breakfast Banh Mi. Long wait. Mr. NSS ordered a breakfast burrito from another nearby stand, received it, and finished it. Still waiting. Lady standing next to me complains of the wait for her order. Eeeck. This better be worth the wait, I thought to myself. After 20 minutes, my banh mi is finally ready… First bite, untoasted semi-dry stale bread. Second bite, the same. *le sigh* To hell with the banh mi; I ripped off all the bread to get to the center of several small pieces of deliciously savory housemade nem nuong sausage topped with a piping hot fried egg that oozed yolk lava upon biting to. Mmmm… really good duo but in the end, it was not a well-executed«banh mi». Still hungry… the Hummus Guy and the Bolani Guy to the rescue with free samples! #OldAzNLadyatCostcoStatus #NoShame OTHERNOTES: *Vietnamese street food stand @ Stonestown Farmers’ Market every Sunday 9 am — 1 pm. *All ingredients locally sourced. No msg used. *Menu($ 4-$ 8): Spring rolls(goi cuon) sandwich(banh mi), noodles(bun) & porridge(chao ga): . *Banh mi($ 6) had a solid nem nuong sausage(very small and can only detect if eaten alone) and fried egg. However, the most quintessential part of a good banh mi, the baguette didn’t taste fresh(needed to be toasted) and the banh mi in its entirety lacked authentic layers of flavor: salty, sweet, sour, and spicy. It needed more filling, more pickled veggies(barely any), and mayo or Maggi type sauce to help with the dryness. Pic: . *Not sure why there was such a long wait because there was a cashier and three people preparing orders. *3 generous stars but an extra .5 star for the refreshing Sunset Spritzer(cam vat) w/freshly squeezed citrus, chia seeds, logan & soda water. I’m however, rounding down since they’ve been open for about 8 months(possibly longer per a filtered review) and should of streamlined their processes by now. *Cash only.
