Their donuts are solid, always with a good selection. They’re open 24-hours, which is a godsend in the Richmond District, where food establishments tend to shut down at 11pm, if not earlier. They’ve got a nice little seating area that has a small town feel.

I totally understand how other comments feel about the BALD guy. It was my first time with All Star Donut tonight. We went there, made our orders with the long hair gentlemen. Everything went well during our order. We tips well in the tip jar. Then, we got our food. After, a few bits of our sandwiches. Then, the bald buys came out of no where being behind the counter and then started talking bad about us. I have no idea what that he was yelling us about. So that, I came closer to the counter and asked him“excuse me, what did you just say about us? He was babbling couple things which is, I still don’t understand. However, one thing that he said for sure was that«you’re f_cking cunt» I was, excuse me? Yes, he repeated«you’re f_cking cunt» without much of explanation. I was so upset. I understand we were a little loud. However, he could just told us to low our voice. We would understand. Unfortunately, we had to leave because he treated to call the police on us. Everything was so delightfull with the long hair gentlemen. Until this bald guy come in. The food and donuts was delicious and reasonable price. The bald guy was outrageous. He should not be in the food and service industry at all. If anyone have any recommendations for legal advise about his action please let me know. He was very abusive to me and my friends. All Star Donuts, I totally respect your delicious food and business. Unfortunately the bald guy, he is so not belong to your outstanding business.

All Star donuts(or a donut shop) has been here for quite a number of years. 50 years ago I remember seeing their donut machine by the side window(since walled over). Was nice to see them crank out the dough and see it drop into the boiling lard. There was always a line of kids watching them make donuts. Selection of donuts is always plentiful, even in the evenings. Every so often I still see a cop or two eating donuts here in the wee hours of the evenings. All Stars also have made to order sandwiches and expresso too if you so desire. Coffee and donut was about $.20 back 50 years ago. Today coffee and donut is $ 3.00. Have to keep up with inflation. Owners have changed through the years but hopefully this donut shop will keep going for another 50 years.

I love the ham and cheese croissant from here! Especially when it is what it is so delicious !!! There are donuts as well I’m very good especially the glaze donut! I am not much of a coffee drinker but the coffee was okay. But this place is open 24⁄7 so it’s really good if you’re in school or working late to come in. Very pricey

Worst attitude and service by the lady working on November 2820156:15PM(not the skinny lady) I was going to get few round custard donuts. Then i realized there are few left so i will get 8 of em, still left, 10, still 1 left, i would get that too. I in a kind gesture and acting friendly, told the nice lady that i should get that one for free since i am getting all of it(not that i was trying to save the 50cent). Then this other lady with bad mood and attitude was: if u want it free go somewhere else. I am like. seriously??? I said this pretty what’s wrong with her? Is she having a bad day? The rude lady replies: It’s none of your business. WTF? I dont take things personallly but that lady needs to chillout, kool down, be kind and smiling. Common live a little and be nice to people. Thanks to the other lady u r nice. I was going to give review 5 but the rude lady took one out.

My go-to coffee spot. They have Peerless Coffee, and for that I am forever grateful. The ladies that work in there are super friendly and always on top of everything. Open 24 hours, 8 different types of coffee. $ 5 minimum for cards. The best damn poppyseed bagels I’ve ever had. The donuts are good too – not Bob’s standard – but good. I usually opt for a bagel over the donut tho, which is not a slight to the donut but more praise to the bagel. Sometimes I get both and I have my cake and eat it too.

First off: I love that this place is open 24⁄7!!! It’s so hard to find a convenient place nearby to get late night eats… I come here from inner sunset cuz it’s this good. And who doesn’t crave donuts at 2 in the morning? The blueberry donuts are my favorite. Esp when they’re hot and fresh!!! So fluffy and fruity. Anything fresh is so good here, honestly. Their glazed old fashioned is my other favorite too. Another bonus: all donuts are only $ 1. Uhh… Can I get a dozen for myself? Sandwiches: any bagel and egg sandwich that my friends and I have ordered have been made fresh to order and always steaming hot and makes you close your eyes and smile with every bite. I like to go with the Denver bagel one. With egg, avocado, sprouts, bacon(I think?). You can choose any bagel you like. I get the everything bagel because why not? The guys that work here are super chill and will make sure you get the best possible. One time at 4 in the morning, the guy making sandwiches asked if I wanted to wait an extra 5 minutes for fresh eggs! How thoughtful, thank you! In the middle of the night and they still had smiles on their faces. Quite the jokesters too. The restroom in the back is kind of small and sketchy because you have to walk through the kitchen to use it. This was at 4 in the morning, so maybe it was only this one time they let customers use their restroom?

Not going to lie, I have been here at hours in the middle of the night that I definitely should not be here at… That said, this place cures all hunger after a night on the town or a weekend breakfast. Love the doughnuts and bacon breakfast sandwiches. Although, sandwiches have fake, processed eggs. But clearly, that’s not stopping me at 2am. It’s a blessing and a curse that I live a block away from here. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly. :)

I usually go here a lot. Good donuts and the ladies here are great. HOWEVER tonight the guy(bald Filipino or Chinese) that served us was the biggest jerk we’ve ever met. I was with 15 people and we were happily ordering donuts while this rude server was belittling us for ordering donuts based on our excitement. We just love donuts but he needed to throw in rude comments to make sure we knew he was annoyed. It was just ridiculous how snide his comments were, almost like if he hated his job(which he probably does). I love the donuts but he lost all of us as customers. Crazy thing is he doesn’t even care… such bad customer service. To that rude guy. May you find nirvana in your donut purgatory… Also.you are a major dick and don’t deserve to be a representative of donut deliciousness.

They do run out of donuts sometimes but that is just a sign of how good they are. The blueberry donut is delicious and something I have never noticed anywhere else.

Horrible customer service both in the morning and in the mid-night. I always go there around midnight and get avocado bagel, but one of the guys just charged me what I have ordered and gave me plain bagel with cheese. I come back for it and all I can see on his face is that he doesn’t care and he thinks I’m tripping. I really don’t like that. He told me cheese bagel is what I ordered. I went home afterwards checking credit card purchases and found out he charged me the price of an avocado bagel. When I dealt with the other guy basically he just ignored my special requests on the sandwich like extra cucumber or stuff like that. Talking about sandwich. in the morning, I’m the only customer in the store and ordered a sandwich. Two girls were talking about their classes in CCSF while helping me with food. They do sloppy jobs on my sandwich. Basically it is horrible.

Donuts were very fresh, as was the newly baked bread used for the sandwiches — yum even at 2am. But be aware that it’s pricey — $ 1.20 per donut even though I ordered a dozen($ 14.40)(i.e. no discount for 12 donuts compared to $ 1.09 or $ 8.99/dozen at Dunkin’ Donuts). They were very nice and sandwich ingredients good quality — great alternative to greasy pizza or burger for late night food. Donut type selection excellent(though no Cronuts). Place is clean, though the space itself is old — worn floor tiles, etc. Bacon on the maple bacon donut was thick-sliced, good quality and fried just right — yum.

This is your typical 24⁄7 donut spot, I want to say. They’re hella smiley and nice ladies who took my donut orders in person, and I thoroughly enjoyed their fresh donuts(chocolate old-fashioned) around the middle of my day on a Sunday. My friend and I were looking for something sweet before we explored GG Park area, and All Star was the perfect in-between. Nothing too special, but they seemed to have a large selection of fresh donuts still in stock. Also, there were a few lazy afternoon diners hanging around reading the news or chatting quietly amongst themselves. Not a bad place, and we were able to get street parking at the Wells Fargo next door.

Found this little donut shop after the disappointing experience we had at pizza orgasmica… for a donut shop they make pretty good sandwich! I had turkey and cheese and it was huge! Of course we had to sample the maple bacon donut! Yummy! Hard to find American food in china town. Almost all the Asian restaurants were closed anyway. I love it but it puts me in a coma and not good for a 2 hour drive home! Thanks for the sandwich and donuts!

I love their donuts! They are always soft, doughy and tasty!!! I recommend the holes(munchkins). They have 4 kinds! I also like their sugar twists and apple fritters. I need to stay away from this place though… Cuz I will become a 800lb panda if I don’t …

Stay away! Bald guy behind the counter is extremely rude. Came here with a couple of friends and started asking questions about the croissants and this guy replied with«people that ask questions tend to not get anything» I sarcastically answered«you’re right«needless to say I left and took my business else where.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. ! Perfect place for late the night munchies. They always have bagels and put a ton of cream cheese on them. They have a lot of hot menus items that they serve all night long. Tuna salad croissant is my personal favorite, but they do burgers and they do dogs. But, this is a donut place. Their donuts rule! They make them all day and night. Always fresh. Ask them for something hot and the’ll give it to you. Buttermilk bars are the way to go . Staff is friendly and recognize all their usual customers. Be nice, tip, they have to put up with drunk college students all night long.

Best part about this place is that it’s open 24 hours! Even on NYE! Saved us last night haha. They have a wide variety of donuts and even hot bagel sandwiches! So awesome and so perfect after a night out. Their bagels and donuts are super soft. My favorite is the jelly donut — so much strawberry jelly goodness inside the pillow soft glazed dough. They also have cake donuts, cake donut holes, apple fritters, crullers, old fashioned, maple bacon, etc. This place is great.
