Ok, they changed the name. This place used to call Miyoshi Sushi & Grill. But, same shit. All Okazuya in the city are Crappy Shit! Here we go! W A R N I N G ! R E D A L E R T ! D A N G E R O U S ! FXXXEDUP! TOTALLYWRONG! This is the worst Sushi that I have ever known! It was shocking. It was incredibly ridiculous to see a restaurant like this. Even there is a happy hour 5 to 8 pm, Nigiri $ 1.- for 2! 100% Chinese. When I saw the Nigiri, I knew right then It’s a piece of Shit-Sushi. Or, Sushit. When I picked up the Nigiri, the rice fell off ! ??? Ohhhhhh! But, I decided to eat this shit. I could taste the cheap sushi-rice-mixture that you can buy at J or Korean Market. And more, Rice was half-cooked, cheap medum grain rice! I said to myself, «This is Fxxxed-up. This guy is Fxxxin’ me so good. This sushi is way over my head!» It was last night, a little after 8. After I parked my car right by the restaurant, I saw a homeless woman urinating right on Clement Street. In the standing position. And she smiled at me! I tried not to look but I did and I tried so hard to keep calm walking toward the restaurant entry door. But, Right by the door, there is another homeless guy sleeping! The door way smelled like shit. I should turn back right then. Instead, I walked right in. Fxxx! It’s dirty, creepy inside and sticky table. What else? Roaches! Sucked big time. I think I’ve never learned by the mistake I made before. I am such a dumb ass! Help me God. I want to live again! Take me back to where I belong. I really don’t know how this guy make the business going. By the way, This place was«Clement St Okazu-ya» before. and still uses Okazuya menu. I think there are few«OKAZUYA» in town. Owned by Chinese? No offense but This is not right. You Do Sushi Totally Wrong! Well, I have to say, You Do Japanese Wrong! Tatally Wrong! I don’t even want to try your deep fried stuff. I can tell it’s too oily, soggy, muggy and smelly shit. P.S. Clement Street is becoming quite a place. This is my Die Okazuya Die list. interested?

The first thing I noticed was how cheap this place was. You can get a bowl of udon for under 5 bucks. That’s great! So I ordered a bowl of oyako udon and a California roll. The California roll was suspect. It had mayo with the crab, and it tasted unfreshly fishy. Not cool. When the udon came out, it had chicken, egg, and onions, like I expected. But it also had bamboo shoots, seaweed, and mushrooms. It tasted more like a Chinese dish than a Japanese dish. Even for that price, it was sorely disappointing. If thrift is more important to you than taste, Clement Okazu Ya is the shop for you. For everybody else, this is really a one-and-a-half star review.

Cheap food. My boyfriend and I had lunch for two under $ 15, which included tax and tip. You gotta be a little suspicious when food is that cheap. We both had lunch specials and thought everything tasted well and good until later that afternoon. We both got a little sick and needed to be in close proximity of the bathroom for the rest of the afternoon. My rule of thumb, if it makes you sick don’t go back even though it’s bargain basement prices. The owner was really nice but unless we are starving and have some Pepto on hand there is no way we’re going back.

This place definitely hits the spot when you’re craving a quick sushi fix. So many Japanese places are closed right after lunch and it was nice to find a location open all day. I’m beginning to appreciate more and more the restaurants that stay open for late-lunch diners like me.

The food is good and fresh – I see it delivered quite often. The prices are totally reasonable and James always has a good movie on if you are sitting at the bar alone.

This restaurant was sold and is now Miyoshi. See review by me under that name. Food is wonderfully prepared, reasonably priced and the sushi is always fresh!(We’ve been going there for 8 years.) Linda Brown
