I’ve only bought lotto tickets and bottles of water or cans of soda here but the guy behind the counter is super nice!

«One-One-Nine-Nine Te-Kah-Tay Pah-Tee Too-Night!» That made me look in wonderment and joy. Family run store with personality. That’s what I want in my life. I fell in love with this place after that. They have a great scotch selection and real decent prices on their shooters. I love shooters.

I’m so glad this little joint is right around the corner. The kooky old guy that owns the place asked for my ID the first time I went in to buy a six pack with the promise that the next time, he’d remember me. That was three weeks ago and, so far, he’s been true to his word. The prices are a tad high, but it’s worth the few extra cents to watch the owner snap a paper bag open with a flourish, load you up and send you on your way.

The guy who works here is awesome. I had literally a minute to step in and grab a soda before the 2-Clement arrived. My soda in hand, I handed the guy a five. He shouted, «Wow, lots of money! Big spender!» in this crazy gameshow-host voice. He then counted my change back to me very deliberately. I made it onto the bus just fine. I didn’t have time to look at the rest of their selection, but the soda was a little bit steep. Still, it was cold, and I like weird corner-store characters.

Dude, the guy who runs this place is hilarious. The wine selection is mediocre, but its better than 7 – 11(RIP)

love this place, not only because it’s the reliable purveyor of my sunday morning misery, but because of the super sweet couple that run the place. the man really is a charmer, with his signature, «big pahh-teee tonight? big pahh-tee!!» line every time i walk in(to buy liq or not) and his wife gave me and my roommate some fresh rosemary from their garden one time. who does that!?? the smirnoff is almost always on special too, which is a plus. minus 1 star for closing at 10 pm(what is this? utah?)
