Read about it on Unilocal and this was the only breakfast place nearby with a five star rating. Got there and were completely floored! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Going there again today. Highly highly recommended!

Wonderful! Amazingly good, real food. Coffee is top notch. So friendly and clean. We had the vegetable crêpe, beef crêpe, and chicken crêpe. Each one was excellent. Dark roast coffee and honey cinnamon cupcakes, also.

What a magical find. Unassuming and interesting. You will love traditional Brazilian breakfast and lunch specialities. Coffee brewed with love… one cup at a time.

I went here on Friday, March 11 and was very impressed by there hospitality. Not only is the food simply amazing but they are very nice, especially Amanda. For going only once she remembered my name which to me tells me they take pride in there food and customer service(as do most Brasileiros) which definitely has me coming back. It is going to be a reason to leave early for work every morning and stop in and get some coffee.

Cute place for if your looking for a little café. We were in the area and wanted something quick for breakfast. Loved the… Acai bowl Esfirra(beef, tomato, olives stuffed bread) and fresh squeezed orange juice. Friendly service and the place was clean.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about Brazilian food As a tourist I’m on the lookout for food that is 1. Good 2. Decently priced 3. Something I can’t get at home. Enter Café de Casa, a super cute café that is definitely walkable from Fisherman’s wharf, and doesn’t try to overcharge you for a bread bowl. Visit One: I walked away with 5 different meat pies, a chicken empanada, esfirra di carne(beef & olive filled pastry) a beef & corn risoles, shrimp risole, and a coxinha(deep fried(potato-y) dough with creamy chicken filling). Each of these are a hearty portion, I could have eaten 1.5 of these and have been full. My favorites were the risoles and coxinha which are made with the(potato-y) dough rather than the flaky pastry dough. Visit Two: Acai bowl + a coxinha for my toddler. The Acai bowl is a good portion and comes topped with goji berries, granola, and fresh fruit. Someday I’d love to try the tapioca crepes & Brazilian coffee… next time!

I had a ham and cheese pastry, tropical salad, and coffee. All were excellent — the salad was delivered to my seat, artistically arranged. The coffee is a good pourover without fuss. Nice and generous staff behind the counter.

I love café de Casa. Everything they sell there is delicious. My favorite now is the açai bow and chicken crepes(favorite part«gluten free»). No matter how far, every time I get a chance I have to stop by for some delicious food. Pastries are amazing too, my favorite is «esfirra de carne» and«coxinhas» so so good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who craves some delicious food, either eating in or on the go.

This place was right next to where we were staying. Wakes in to a friendly bunch explaining all the selection of native brazilian Salgados ans explained their unique coffee process. The Brazilian veggie crepes with yucca flour were amazing. All the ingredients are fresh and taste really wholesome. Great way to start before running around the city.

This place is cheerful and bright-and so is the staff! I had a chicken, tomato and olive pastry. It was delicious, especially when dipped in a tiny bit(because its pretty fiery!) of their homemade hot sauce. Grabbed a coffee for road, which was also extremely yummy. Can’t wait to try their Acai bowl next time! Really great new spot.

My Lady friend and I have had many enjoyable meals and even a social event catered by the original South City location of Café De Casa… So it was time to try out the new location at Leavenworth Street near Columbus… Just walking in the place has nice feel to it. Not too touristy but one can indeed pick up a few items if they are not from the area. Easy walking distance from the main part of Fisherman’s Wharf… The employees were welcoming and friendly. Spoke English very well… I had the Meat and Cheese crêpe and it was outstanding. We also ordered a chocolate type of dessert which was excellent as well… Laurence & Luiza

I was(and still am) beyond excited that this place opened up here in SF. I was familiar with the South SF location and was already a big fan of their food. There are a couple reasons this particular location is awesome. They have tapioca !! That is really hard to come by. Not only do they have sweet ones, but savory ones as well! Outside of my mothers house, this is pretty much the only place I’m aware of where I can get tapioca. But I digress … The coxinha here is seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Coxinha is one of the(many) reasons it is so great to grow up in a Brazilian household. My words cannot do it justice. Same Goes for the kibe here, which is also incredible! The catupiry cheese makes it just that much better than kibe you can get anywhere else. All that being said, I ordered catering here for a small party last week. I got 20 coxinhas and 2 kibes(smaller party size) and the staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was ready on time and ready to go. I can definitely see myself coming here A LOT. The place is rather small and conducive to you grabbing something quickly(although there is some seating) they carry a ton of other items as well, but I can absolutely vouch for the coxinha and kibe here.

My husband and I were walking to Starbucks when we past this cute little gem on Columbus and Leavenworth and decided to stop. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time, it’s hand dripped, and oh so tasty. I had the veggie crêpe and my husband had the breakfast crêpe. They are made with tapioca flour and taste very different than what you think of when you hear«crêpe», but not in a bad way. Very good! The workers were very friendly and didn’t laugh when we went back up to the counter to order a dessert crêpe! Next time we are in SF we will for sure make another stop!!!

This pleasant Brazilian café is amazing. I’ve never had the style of brewing they used before; it was fresh café and delicious. The coxinha was delectable, light, and not too heavy for breakfast.

This is a fantastic gem just blocks from the Fisherman’s Wharf. We stopped by after biking the Golden Gate to refuel but avoid stuffing ourselves before dinner. This was not an easy feat with the selection of food! The staff was very welcoming and readily explained each of the pastries available in the case. We shared a Pão de Queijo(cheese popover), Esfirra de Carne(beef, tomato, and olive turnover), and Coxinha(lightly fried dough with spiced chicken and cream cheese). All three were excellent. Variants of these in beef, chicken, and pork form were also available(plus a couple of vegetarian options). They also offer Brazilian tapioca flour crepes(both sweet and savory), salads, and made-to-order juices. For dessert, we shared an acai bowl(first time we tried one). Talk about refreshing! Something like a cross between a pudding and a smoothie, the acai blend paired well with the fresh sliced fruit, dried goji berries, and granola. They make each bowl to order(about 10 minutes of prep), so be sure to let them know if you plan to have one. If you are looking for a delectable, budget-friendly ethnic lunch without spoiling your grand dinner plans, Café de Casa is right up your alley. Just be sure to resist ordering more once you’ve finished your selections!

If you’re after fabulous food that’s affordable, tasty, healthy(and gluten free!) then I’d definitely recommend that you check out this place. It’s locally owned and run and they’re super friendly and cheerful(they even recognised us from two days before!). Very convenient if you’re staying in the Fisherman’s Wharf area especially Holiday Inn/Marriott.

Brazilian Street food was completely new to me and now i’m hooked. I had the crepes with shredded beef and the chicken with mozzarella cheese and was so unbelievably good., Crepes are made from tapioca and was chewy and delicious. My daughter keeps asking to go back for the acai fruit bowel and dolce de leche crêpe. Also lives the super dark Brazilian coffee with crème.
