No more free popcorn, booo. I don’t think I’d be back. Drinks were mediocre. Seating was almost all high bar stools. Only plus was that they had hooks under the tables to hang your bag. They did have several TVs to watch the game, so it’s a good sports bar. Happy hour lasts until 7pm. They have a good variety of beers including a cider.

Great after-work bar in Financial District. Decently-priced Happy Hour, and very friendly bartenders. I love the funky atmosphere with all the artwork. There are also TVs, so you can watch the Giants or Warriors game as you’re catching up with friends. Can get crowded during prime Happy Hour time, but can usually still find a place to stand or sit until a table opens up.

Cute eclectic bar: love the chandeliers and artwork. Can’t go wrong with their $ 6 fireball happy hour shots. A little dark inside Great for a quick drink after work!

Maria is the best bartender in SF. And she’s cute too… She makes a mean mule. We will be coming back for drinks from Maria very VERY soon.

It was alright 6 $ stella’s. Standard. Boring bar crowd next door to a toastmaster’s group. Not much to expect in the FIDI though. Close to Bart and not in a ghetto area.

It’s loud /not a dive bar but not $ 12 drinks either — not a scene but full — good if you just need a spot to get a drink — full bar — cute bartenders

I went here with my friends on 6−25−159:15pm’sh. JT and Tim was throwing their karaōke gig, I thought I passed by. Happy hour is alright, $ 5 Budweiser, $ 6 wine, $ 7 Moscow mule. Their beers are moderately expensive $ 7, wish they would drop their prices for karaōke evenings, that would entice me. My friends and I sang some songs during the evening, so it was cool.

Check your receipts! Better yet, avoid this place altogether. They are stealing money via credit card fraud by increasing tip amounts.

One of the few unpretentious watering holes in SOMA. +1 star: Their bartenders call themselves bartenders. +1 star: Busy happy hour – place is packed to the balls when the 9 – 5’ers get off. +1 star: Rotating artwork on the walls. –1 star: Occasional drunk bros getting douchey with other customers –1 star: Focus is primarily happy-hour on, so if you’re looking for a drink earlier in the afternoon: Nope.

We come into your feet when you jump at night We come into your hands when you wanna fight We come into your legs when you wanna run We come into your smile when you want some fun So come on feed the da-da-da-da-da So come on feed the da-da-da-da-da So come on feed the da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da! I can’t be the only one who thinks of Dada Life when they walk by this dive bar in the Financial District, right? Happy hour runs from 4pm-8pm, which is later than most bars/restaurants. Reasonably priced beers and wines, and $ 6 antifreeze, I mean Fireball, shots. Bartenders are cool. And they have TVs if you want to watch sports!

We hosted a private party here on Saturday night. The owner and bartenders couldn’t have been more accommodating. The owner told us we could bring food in or have it catered and could arrive early to set up. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The location was ideal — easy street parking and convenient access to BART. DaDa is not fancy or pretentious; if that is your scene, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you’re looking for a nice, low key, and no hassle place to host a party, DaDa is a perfect spot.

Found 2 stools at the bar during happy hour which was a plus. HH runs from 3−8pm if I remember correctly; pretty sweet! HH drink offerings are pretty decent, and it’s not too hard to get the bartender’s attention. No obnoxious patrons, most people are pretty chill. A bit divey but decent enough if you avoid the bathroom.

A FiDi dive that’s been around a while, it’s refreshing to call the folks at Dada our bartenders versus mixologist. The post work happy hour lines are equally long though as they try to serve up thirsty office workers post haste. Thankfully they keep service moving along pretty smoothly. I think the sizable beer list make up for the crowded happy hour scene — some lovely californian microbrews on tap. Been here later in the night too when the crowds thin out and the bartenders were really lovely. Might get a little loud for conversation if it’s a DJ night though. With happy hours Mon-Fri till 8, you can see why it’s a popular spot to grab a drink. Nothing fancy but Dada totally does the job well.

This is your standard everyday bar with friendly and attentive bartenders. Drinks are relatively inexpensive, and their selection of beer is limited. Most of their seating lines up along the edges of the bar, which I like because standing at the bar is better for ordering drinks instead of crowding around people who are sitting down. Love their music. Yeah… that’s pretty much it.

Yes, it’s a bit divey — but the cocktails are decent for the price(there are usually happy hour deals), and they keep a solid semi rotating selection of beers on tap. The owner is an artist on the side, and hangs a mixture of his own work or items he’s purchased recently. The music tends to be to my taste, sometimes a little too EDM. DJs make occasional appearances. In the week it’s not too loud, it tends to be party time on a Thurs/Fri and seating is at a premium. My affection for DaDa(which tips it from 3 to 4 stars) is a lot to do with the friendliness of the bartenders, and the owner to me and the fact that it’s a bit different from most of the slightly corporate FiDi bars. A down to earth drinking hole. Leave your attitude elsewhere though.

Dada is great! I’ve been coming here on and off for a couple years. The bartenders are always nice and genuine. I enjoy taking my co-workers and friends to stop by dada before we head out to other bars. We had the old fashioned, but it wasn’t served in a rocks glass, which we usually prefer. It gets pretty packed during happy hour on a friday, so be prepared to bump into folks!

Horrible service here! The«bartender» refused to bring our poorly made drinks to us and condescendingly stated«girls we don’t have table service». We were sitting 4 feet from the bar… She then pointed our group out to a colleague and proceeded to talk badly about us. Only went here because it was convenient. Never again.

Definitely a bit stuffy. Thy had a big fan on the second floor to get the air going, but it was one of the warmest nights of the year. Drinks are priced pretty standard, 6 dollars for a draft beer. Bartender was amicable and it wasn’t crowded — ample sitting place on a Thursday. A good place to go and chat with a coworker while watching the game.

No frills bar in the FiDi. It’s a bit dark and grungy but they have a good HH list. The seating next to the door is your best option– you get the most light, best seating and you can people watch!

Dada is cool I suppose, it’s close to work and near other better places. The drinks are cheap, I recommend getting a beer on tap, the mixed HH drinks are awful. Anything pre-mixed should just go pour itself down the drain, along with your $ 7. Really cool art and nice staff, so it’s not the worst place I’ve been, just not my favorite.

If you ever feel the urge to get some bees in your system and feel slightly like you’ve been around the block in some foreign place like Amsterdam… check out Dada. One beer, two beers, three beers, floor! Great prices for happy hour’s in the area.
