I echo everyone’s review and cannot say enough about this amazing Dr.
Dr. Ai is a true healer, has enormous integrity and is brilliant at what he does. He saved my eyesight and I will always be grateful. He is the nicest, kindest, genuine Dr ever.
He is also up on the latest research. Out of 5 stars I would give him 100!

My eye doctor referred me to Dr. Ai as a retina specialist. He was also known by my brother-​in-​law doctor as the best on the West Coast. I had a serious problem. He evaluated the problem, I had laser surgery in that office and it came to the best possible outcome. Di. Ai is not just all the things that other have written about him, he is competent. He KNOWS what he is talking about and he is thorough. I now live in another state. I STILL return for check-​ups with him twice a year. There is no one like him. I trust him with my eyes and he is so very comforting as well. I feel so fortunate to have him to take care of my eyes.

Dr. Ai is a rock star. My son has been his patient for 10 years. He is brilliant, caring, really takes the time to examine you, listens, and has unbelievable bedside manner. We trust him with something very precious. Hopefully we never move form SF becasue then we’d have to fly back just for the annual check-​up. Dr. Ai is a truly gifted physician, consider yourself fortunate if he takes you on as a patient.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Ai to follow-​up on an eye exam I had with an optometrist. It was my first visit to an ophthalmologist and I was a bit nervous because I expected the worst, in terms of an exam and the results. Well, my fears were unfounded when I met Dr. Ai. Right off the bat, he was friendly and genuine — he bowed to me, smiled, and apologized for keeping me waiting! Dr. Ai was very thorough in giving me an eye exam, patiently describing in detail everything he was doing and explaining the significance of each procedure. It really put me at ease. Luckily, my eyes were alright! But even if they weren’t, I would trust Dr. Ai to perform corrective procedures on me. He’s very personable, highly intelligent, and provides quality patient care. I highly recommend him!
