Duck confit was okay, but looking forward to trying out their other hot dogs and snacks another time :)

OMG, this food truck is fantastic. I ordered here because there was no line(lucky me) and was praying the food would be ok. I didn’t even check the Unilocal reviews. When I got my food, my coworkers were all super jealous, and after eating it, they were sure right! The food is so fresh and delicious, I felt like it was from a fancy restaurant. It’s not cheap, but it’s definitely worth it!

I tried the lamb sausage, brie, and carmelized onion. Quite tasty! The bread is fresh and the mixture worked together

The best! I can’t even pretend I try any other vendor at Friday night’s Off the Grid @ Fort Mason. It’s my staple and I hope you’re back(& in good health!) this season. Mmm lamb!

You know you’re in a bougie city when food trucks sling duck confit for $ 15.50! No cheap tacos here, just indulgent French goodness. A very nice faster food option since this style of food often requires you go to fancy bistro and spend way more time than most of us have for lunch. Duck Confit: Very crispy skin while still managing not to render all the fat off. Felt like a pretty large duck leg, even compared to what you get at waiter service restaurants. The meat was quite rich, like a nicely preserved confit should be. Paired very well with the more subtle veggies. Peas & Carrots w/Black Truffle Butter: The carrots seemed fresh but the peas didn’t(…which makes sense, since it’s not pea season). They both paired very well with the duck confit, helping contrast all that richness. A decent sized medallion of truffle butter rested on a section of peas. Unfortunately, not enough to cover all the veggies, but it sure did give quite a tasty truffle burst on the vegetables which had a little of the butter on it.

Must get the french fries here. Delicious sausage sandwich. The bread is perfect, crusty but soft. Service was super quick.

France Delices is a food truck that serves some interesting French food. I don’t think their sausage sandwich is traditional French, but it’s quite delicious. == Food == I had one of their lamb and tomato sausages during Off the Grid. It was good! They actually a soft french bread instead of a bun. It’s a bit more chewy but the bread is quite more delicious than a bun. The lamb sausage was really nicely done. It was grimy like how lamb is with the tomato helping out with the taste. == Service == Order at the truck and get your sausage sandwich within a few minutes. Service is quick! == Overall == Delicious sausage sandwiches. There’s other food items that I’m curious to try.

The most delightful couple run this food truck. Quite authentic and delicious sausage sandwiches, as well as desserts and duck confit. You can’t miss with their fries and aioli. Our go to is the lamb merguez but the duck and fig sausage is pretty epic. Once you try them out, you may not want to eat at any of the other food trucks again.

France Delices is a really good food truck. I got to try them out for the first time at Off The Grid Fort Mason just recently and after having a taste of their Duck Sausage, I felt kind of bad for not giving them a try for all of last year. They specialize in fancy sausage sandwiches similar in style to Rosamunde Sausage Grill, but with French twist. When I visited them, the one menu item that definitely caught my eye was their Duck Sausage. Duck Sausage w/brie, grilled onions, & dijon – If there’s one thing I really liked about the Duck Sausage, it was actually the bread that surprised me. The Duck Sausage itself was good and had a solid smoked duck flavor, but because the bread had a good crust and soft, yet chewy interior, it made it very easy to keep the whole thing together. I’d say this is a great alternative to Rosamunde’s Duck & Fig Sausage. I recently stopped by their truck once again at OTG Fort Mason and tried their Duck Confit special. I have to admit, it’s a very hearty plate! Duck Confit w/peas, carrots, truffle butter, & bread – It’s pretty pricey at $ 15.50, but duck leg confit at any restaurant will cost you around $ 20 so I found it to be reasonably priced. That being said, it was a really good plate. The duck leg had crispy skin and and the meat easily came off the bone. The truffle butter, I totally spread that over everything, the leg, the peas and carrots, and the bread! So rich, but added so much flavor to everything! Depsite being one of the more pricey plates at OTG, I actually would order this again. So even though I’ve only had just a small taste of France Delices’ menu, I wouldn’t mind going back again to try their other menu items. They also have a nice selection of sweets from macarons to mini dessert shots. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re at OTG Fort Mason.

On 8÷16÷2015 while working out in San Rafael, I ended up driving by the Marin Farmers Market at Civic Center. I only had 15 minutes before my next appointment, and NOCASH! So I thought the first place I can find, nearest to my car, that ACCEPTSCREDITCARDS, gets my business! The first place I found was France Delices, and I asked if they accepted cards for payment, and I was told yes! I asked the woman standing at the front what was good to eat, and she said the lamb sausage sandwich, so I ordered it. It was ready within 5 minutes, and I took it TO-GO in a cardboard container. When I sat down to eat, I opened the container and found a delicious looking sandwich! It was fresh bread, perfectly cooked sausage, and a nice hollandaise or béchamel sauce on top, and the bread was coated with melted cheese on the inside. It was topped with cilantro, but the flavor of the cilantro was definitely missing, and left the sandwich tasting«one note». It was a little spice and fresh bread, but it was needing a fresh component to add a little flavor enhancer! That is why I give it 4 stars. It was perfectly cooked just missing a fresh flavor!

wow! I had been pretty disappointed by Off the Grid in San Anselmo — the portions were painfully small, I went to a kebab truck to discover that there weren’t any kebabs at the kebab truck and the prices are regular restaurant prices. But France Delices was very different. AMAZING food! My daughter had the Duck Confit(they were out of peas and carrots so they gave her fries instead) and she gave me the pat of truffle butter because truffle butter is one of the best things on the planet. I ordered the merguez over spinach and it was unbelievable. And you get A LOT of food. I lived in Paris for two years and this meal did not disappoint. The confit was perfectly crisp but the duck melted in your mouth, the frites were crisp and well-salted, and my merguez was piping hot served with saved cheesed, vinaigrette, some sort of aioli, and that wonderful truffle butter which I just ate straight up. perfect food truck meal.

This will be my 4 or 5th time chomping down on one of France Delices DELICIOUS sandwhiches. Today it was time to try the spicy Lamb with Manchego. The baguette was fresh and lightly toasted, the sausage unique and flavorful, well complimented by the cheese selection. I can still taste the delicious aoili used for the fries. I’m always pumped when i order a salad with it too. Fresh spinach? Count me in! The fact that the owners are absolutely adorable people, never hurt. In fact it makes my day ordering from them when I need a smiling face. I can’t do six stars, so five will have to do.

Very tasty and spicy lamb sausage. Marchengo cheese and a nice soft baguette. Next time the duck. Had it with a hefeweizen and worked perfectly.

Very friendly French folks, they actually said«Bön Appetit» & «Merci» which added to the experience. They were sold out of duck & fig sausage so lamb merguez it was. It was gourmet & delicious. Other reviews quote $ 7 for sausage but it was $ 8.50 at Civic Center today. Been frequenting food trucks for years now, in several cities, and this is best food truck overall experience yet. Keep up the good work France Delices!

It’s nice to see a French street food kind of truck because I personally think the Asian food carts have been overdone. Duck sausage: duck and pork sausage served on a French bread till. The roll holds up well to the sausage. The caramelized onions on top are good, and other topping options include Brie, sauerkraut, chutney, and aioli. The sausage itself was well seasoned, but I was hoping for more fig flavor from the sausage. The sausage was $ 7, which is pretty standard for a food truck, but it’s also a lot more than your Costco hot dog…

OK concept, lots of potential, the duck special was good — despite my butter melting while i waited for a friend. Looking forward to them updating their menu beyond sausages. And honestly i think its a 3.1 star destination — but since i want to support the diversity of food choices in sf 4 stars it is.

This truck comes near our office once a week. I finally decided to try it and went for the duck & figs sausage sandwich with caramelized onions and dijon mustard on a french bread roll(it’s always a french bread roll) for $ 7. The french bread was lightly crusty on the outside but pretty soft inside, just the way I like it. The duck and figs sausages were delicious. I also loved the sweet caramelized onions on it, but somehow seemed to mask the sausages; I guess the pungency of the mustard didn’t help either. In hindsight I could have done without the dijon mustard, but thankfully it wasn’t jarring. The other toppings besides the caramelized onions were brie, sauerkraut, and mango chutney. I was tempted by the french fries with aioli, but that would have blown my calorie budget out of the water; thankfully I was able to resist the temptation and deliver myself from(dietary) evil. In conclusion I liked it enough to try it again sometime in the future, though I won’t go running after it.

I ate here on this truck’s third day out. It’s run by the same guy who excels at the Waffle Mobile! I had the excellent lamb merguez sausage with sauerkraut, which has two sausages in the bun. Delicious. And the fries in a cone, with aioli, devoured almost instantly. If you spot this truck, go go go run to it!
