Was the price reasonable? Sure. For a medium sized room and a few waters in the hour, it came out to around $ 40. The room must have seen a lot of traffic, based on what I saw when we entered. We needed a place to sing some tunes and let out our inner Beyonce. K-net served its purpose well.

I went to this place last weekend with a group of my friends to this karaōke place. At the website, the mentioned for a small room from 5pm-9pm is $ 13 per hour to which we thought that was a good price. When we arrived at the karaōke place at around 8pm, the lady in charge of the place was eating her dinner and watching some tv. We asked for a small room to fit the 4 of us and she said the total per hour would be $ 26 per hour. We told her that on the website it said that price was for the later hours to which she responded that those prices are off by an hour. So, without much argument, we paid the $ 26 and got the room. The room itself was pretty nice enough and they had a decent amount of songs to choose from, including some Spanish music. We were having a great time and we notice that the lady never actually came in to tell us that our time is up. One of us got up and asked the lady if we were out of time. Turns out we were 5 minutes over but she lets us pass. Besides the initial impression, this place is alright. We had a great time singing and if we came in an hour earlier, we probably would’ve gotten the lower rate. Heads up though, they don’t serve alcohol or food so if you do want to sing with a buzz, be sure to pregame a bit before heading in. We had canteens with us and they let us in with them so I guess you can bring in refreshments, as long as they are in a canteen and not from a can or bottle. If I’m in the mood to sing and if I was at SF, I think I would come back to this place with friends.

waw. My experience with K-Net is pretty horrible. First, the room feels a bit dirty. Second. The karaōke system in our room didn’t work. Both the mic and the song ordering screen. We had to hassle the staff so that they allowed us to change room(they kept saying it’s working and never suggest to us to change room). Third, we changed room and we started singing. Some of the songs with melody that didn’t sync up with the lyrics!!! Four, the service was terrible. I know it’s a Chinese-owned business and I don’t expect great service. But these guys don’t even deliver the basic. Very disappointed. And five, $ 25+tax per hour for a 2 – 3 pax room with the above experience I had seems ridiculously expensive. Don’t come unless there is absolutely no other option and u will die from your acute karaōke itchiness.

Pro: — huge selection of songs of all languages Cons: — mic didn’t always work — stuffy room — no prices posted… How am I suppose to know how much the rooms cost/hr? And you sell food? Menu? How much? — shady… The cashier tried to charge 20% of our total for bringing outside drinks(bottled water). She pointed to a small sign on the wall that said they charge for«cleaning fee». I told her we cleaned up after ourselves and the sign didn’t say outside drinks were not permitted. It was super unclear. She bargained and lowered it to 10%. We didn’t budge. She gave up and dropped the charge. Will not come again.

I’ve been to K-Net a few times and I never had a problem with pricing until the other night. I went in with as a group of 6 and the lady told us $ 36 an hour. We stayed one hour 2⁄3 mins. And we were charged $ 38 bucks. If you work out the numbers, it doesn’t come out as $ 38. My friend asked, not to the lady directly, «were we charged standing here(in front of the counter)?» We were only standing longer than we were suppose to because we were trying to pay back the guy paying with his card first. And we were waiting for the guy before us finish paying. We only stayed 2⁄3 mins after that one hour because when we tried to squeeze in one song before the hour was up, but the system didn’t play almost any of the songs we picked. TL;DR: Sucky system with not so solid pricing. You’re better off at Voiz up the street.

Worst service ever! I’m sorry but your staff is rude af. I came here on a Saturday evening around 7:00PM and was told that ALL the rooms were booked. On the monitors, you can see that all the rooms are completely empty. I mean. who karaokes at 7PM?.. Anyways, when my friends brought this to the rude boy’s attention, he repeated himself and said that it’s all booked… Save your time and money and go to Voiz instead.

Where should I start… Song selection system 1. Confusing as hell to use! Want to search for a song? Don’t type the name of the song into the search bar, type the first letter of every word to find your song. Ugh… 2. Try to find a song under an English artist, can’t find it. Try to find the same song under English songs and it’s there. Ughh… Rooms 1. Small 2. Stuffy Only time I’ll ever come here is if Voiz is all booked and my friends still really want to go karaōke.

They lie about honoring groupon!!! These f*ckers talking Chinese to each other like we don’t understand. DONOTCOME here!!! We come in after a phone call confirmation specifically stating we want to use groupon. This mamasan finds out after she tries to check us in and says«we don’t honor groupon on holidays, even if you called in earlier. What do you want me to do?» Absolutely rude service. Cannot believe they’re still open. Mamasan, time to learn some English. Also tell papasan to grow a pair.

I used to come here frequently. My circle of friends come here as well. But on one Monday night, came in and asked if I could use the bathroom. A young f** Chinese guy refuse in a very RUDE manner to let me use the bathroom and said it’s for customers only. He started shouting NONONO you’re not a customer. Apparently, you just lost a potential customer. Told all my friends and network of friends. They will boycott this place. Go up the block to voice or elsewhere. But seeing their review rates, looks like business isn’t going well anyways. I’ll be praying for ya.

I made a Unilocal account just to review this place. First off, the service was incredibly Unprofessional and rude. Second of all, it is extremely over priced and has the least amount of songs of a karaōke place I have ever been to. The owner of the place is desperate for business so she runs a faulty check in deal that can’t even be redeemed. She had an attitude problem and doesn’t show respect to customers. The owner is a Asian bitch who speaks as if she had a penis. Someone came out and claimed there was sperm on the chairs. The microphone was faulty and had a loud screech.

Had an interesting experience here this Saturday night. I was trying to meet my friend here for her 21st birthday and she has reserved a room for 11pm but later pushed the time back to 11:30pm due to people lagging. As soon as I stepped in around 12:10, my super frustrated friend and her party were leaving their karaōke room because the staff there was being rude to them. Some commotion ensued and the group was wondering why we were being charged the full hourly rate of $ 48 for staying there for hardly 20 min? The lady who had checked our bags — probably the owner/manager — yelled back«We had the room reserved for you since 11 and you didn’t show up until later so we’re charging you $ 48!» But birthday girl countered back that she had called at 11 to let the place know they were running late and would be there at 11:30 instead. And plus, I noticed there wasn’t a big wait for the rooms or anything and bunch were empty too! Anyway, one of the guys just paid because it was our friend’s birthday and we didn’t want to damper her mood further and continue fighting with the staff. Since I was literally there for only 2 minutes and had just walked into this situation unfolding, I can objectively say: 1) if the group wasn’t there for the full hour, and not even half an hour, why charge them full price?! I don’t think it’s ethical. 2) why be rude to customers to the point that they feel forced out? 3) why argue with the paying customers? –__– Just bad business practice all around. I’ll let you decide if you want to risk coming here.

Who you will find here: the young, the old, the preppy, the frat boys and girls, the gangsters… just everyone! I’m serious! One time I came here and a HK family came in, the whole family: mom, dad, aunt, grandma, grandpa, and two little boys(the little boys seemed disinterested and roamed the halls and kept waving hello to me). So have no fear, you can bring the whole family here for some good olé — bring your granny here to sing her little heart out! Good selection of songs but remote is hard to use especially in the dark. I came here recently with some friends and they had a USB mouse and it made things easier(smart)! Don’t serve alcohol or food, makes me miss ktving in Taiwan(they serve tea, fries, pizza, and more).

There was a decent selection of songs both old and new. We had a few hardware issues that we took care of ourselves(remote didn’t work so we switched to the mouse. You can play the original song by pressing the middle button on the panel if the remote doesnt work). They don’t serve alcohol which is =(for a karaōke place! The pages are also hard to navigate! When we tried typing artists, I searched A and found one page… that’s not right! We were there for a little under 3 hours on a Friday from 4 – 7 and payed $ 32.00 so not TOO expensive.

The room is your basic booth that curls around half the room with a system that features a good amount of mainstream and older songs. We noticed that the technology did not work very well. Remotes were non-responsive, but luckily there was a mouse. One of our mics didn’t work well and the lady in the front made no attempt to resolve the situation(she slapped it a few times and handed it back to us). Also, there were some software issues. A few songs only had a melody with no lyrics while others started then stopped.

Its an expensive karaōke. Please check the price before going in. The waitress took a long time to serve the food. We have to go out and order the drinks and food while singing.

No good at all. Unilocal offers are not honored. They have their own rules to not honor it even though you follow the Unilocal rules. They want you to tell them how you are going to pay before you even start singing, otherwise they would NOT honor any deals! How’s that suppose to affect the deal itself? If you tell them ahead of time, you get a worse room or something because you are not paying full price? This is just not relevant at all. Also, they people there are just not friendly. If you want to experience horrible customer service, this place is it. Worst customer experience ever! Also, their system is suppose to be new and good, but it sucks. Remote is way better than the mouse they offer, which doesn’t really work. We were not offered any alternatives. Good thing my group of weekly karaōke buddies have other better options. I almost never ever write reviews, but this place is so bad that got me to write them a review.
