We had a lot of fun here. There were some really fun and funny hats that we played with. But got serious and found my fiancé a really nice fedora. Some of the hats are by up scale manufacturers and the prices reflect it. There was a 50% off section and there are also other fun souvenirs to look at and consider.

Im giving this place five stars for there customer service. Besides looking endlessly for the sweater i wanted my size in the back, i left my purse there on accident. anyone could have taken it specially in this city, however, a young male employee saw it and placed it in a safe place until i called and asked if it was there, they then asked me some detailed questions about what was in my purse for security reasons which i appreciated and i was able to go pick it up. im glad there is still some honest people out there. nothing was missing from my purse. im happy to give them an awesome review. as far as what they have to offer, its a pretty big shop located in the rear end of the pier, loaded with all sorts of stuff. my husband got a beanie, some souvenirs, and i got a sweater. they have huge selections and really cool stuff! Ill definitely visit this shop again!

Great place, lots of fun trying on hats of all kinds. They have an amazing selection. The 3 stars is for service. Not very friendly and forget calling. They could not be bothered and did not want to answer my questions. They clearly wanted off the phone.

This place is a lot of fun to come in and try all kinds of different hats. I had a great time coming in with my friends and goofing around with em all. I ended up buying a funny knitted at that looks like a lion. The price was a little steep but the shop is in a super touristy area so you gotta think about that when you decide to purchase.

Krazy Kaps is a wacky cool hat shop that’s located in the Warf area of San Francisco. Every time I visit this shop, I have to buy something. They have other appareal and gifts too but, their main attraction is hats, of course. Their hats range from novelty(animals or cool snowboarding caps) to useful(beach and rain gear). They have vintage and modern, men and women, children and adult. you get the point. See ya there!

Krazy Kaps! Good prices considering the location. They have lots of Angry Birds hats, which appear to be really popular right now. Great selection of Krazy(and sane) hats for all tastes. I found an Animal hat that I regret not purchasing: I guess I’ll have to come back.

Prices may be a little high for some of the items, but face it: it’s a Pier 39 shop for tourists. But notwithstanding, one finds all sorts of goodies in here! There is Harry Potter paraphernalia for all 4 houses, wigs, Sesame Street hats & beanies, Alcatraz prison outfits, t shirts, Ninja Turtle head wear, etc… I love it! Even if one doesn’t plan on buying much(or anything at all), it’s just an awesome store to look around.

i wish the hats were a bit cheaper then id surely grab a few. all kinds of hats! normal, stylish, goofy. the fun ones are more in the back but the last few times i went, they were gone. probably for the july4 festivities. it’s a fun place to walk around, jut that it’s too crowded. the aisles are small and youre always blocked by another tourist. im not a tourist, i live here in the city but i like to come by here anyway. my favorite hat store though! lots of selection. also have souvenirs, shirts, other items

This is what I like about going to Pier 39, the weird ass stores that are there. Krazy Kaps is one of those places. It’s always cool to bring your friends and pose for photos with the many crazy ass hats they have. I remember going here and having lot of fun. Yes, it’s somewhat expensive and somewhat messy, but you can’t blame them. They are in a high tourism type of area and place.

Go clearance selection! and the $ 1.50 shot glass that I got. It’s a little but confusing in here, and compact, but that’s okay. When they rang up some shirts, the cashier had to take sometime to change the price since it had been marked down. Why don’t you guys just change the price THEN mark it down? Besides that fact, the place is pretty cool, i found what I wanted and when I forgot my phone they called out to me. Thanks!

This is a pretty cool little shop, some things were pretty inexpensive, others were not. They have some funny and cute face masks, with Marvel characters on them, and some unusual hats as well. They also had your standard San Fransisco souvenirs there, trolley stuff, and Alcatraz stuff(that was less expensive than on the island.) good place to look around, there is quite a bit of everything here.

Though it was a bit pricey, I bought may all-time favorite hat here: an angora/wool blend black newsie cap with snap on the brim to wear up or down. It went with everything and was worn virtually every day during the winter. sadly, it was lost in my move from The City… so I will have to make the trip back to replace it– worth it!

I was standing outside thinking WHAT??? Krazy Kaps!!! What’s that??? Then I realized, «OHHHCRAZYCAPS!!!» Yes I am a little slow. Caps and hats were on right side, and left side souvenirs(SF apparel). 3 pairs of sunglasses for $ 12, I couldn’t find a single one that I either liked or suited my face. I saw a cool hamburger hat, and many of these hats I’ve seen at Disneyland or other places. I saw a Sonic the Hedgehog beanie that I would have maybe bought for my bro, but it was close to $ 20, no thanks.

I used to like this place a lot, fun trying on different hats and joking with friends and what not. but now… man o man this place is like a pig sty. hats are on the floor and stepped on. Dirty and not even safe for wearing. Sometimes when I go to fishermans wharf I usually come here to see if there is anything new or cool… something that stands out for a novelty hat. and nopes not anymore. they used to have this hat in the shape of a milk carton, and your face comes out of the side with the words«have you seen me» or something like that. that was cool… toooo bad.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I have a fabulous time trying on all these caps in here… the store is so-so. They definitely have a very wide selection of styles and the prices are pretty good. You are not coming here for a quality hat though. So, the good news is that you have all sorts to choose from, AND you can try on all these crazy hats that make you want to take lame pictures to show your friends? I dunno, but guilty as charged. We have come here a few times(the man likes his hats) and always end up laughing and enjoying ourselves. Yep, in a hat store. We enjoy the little things in life… can ya tell?

this store has a wide selection of hats, from fedoras to straw, to beanies, to flexfit baseball caps, to berets, to jester hats, and those trendy mao zedong military hats. the only downside is that this place is crowded with tourists, being located in the middle of pier 39. this is my alternate hat stop next to the berkeley hat co. on telegraph in berkeley. both carry elope baseball knit caps, my favorite knitted headwear of all time. prices are very decent. the workers, you can tell they’ve had it up to here because of how busy the store can get. anyway… this is the other perfect hat stop if you’re planning a «silly hats only» party, too.
