Terrible service! Out of multiple types of alcohol. Took 20 minutes to get a jack and Coke! Waited 30 minutes to get the check !

Embrace Lee’s, San Francisco! Embrace them! This is our peoples’ diner! Rejoice when you spot their locations around the city! If you want a surprisingly good, healthy salad bar or not-so-healthy, greasy Chinese food — or anything in between — Lee’s is there for you. Breakfast and lunch. Turkey or banh mi sandwiches. THEYEVENHAVE A FROZENYOGURTMACHINEWITHALLTHETOPPINGSTOADD. I think you should get off your high horses, tech colleagues, and get down with Lee’s.

The food is not designed to be five star quality, but what an operation! A by the pound deli with so many option overwhelms my senses. The price is right too. They have Rubens, egg rolls and somosas. Five stars because the options decent quality too!

I am becoming a fan of this chain. Its at several places in SF and the taste is pretty consistent. The menu however changes slightly I think. Its pay per pound which takes away the inertia of having to find the pocket savvy dish. Just buy what you like, however much you want and enjoy. No wonder its bustling with public at lunch.

They must fudge their scales, because my food always ends up weighing as much as a brick. Hot food bar and any pre-made salads: Oily noodles? Check Oily veggies? Check Oily everything? Check I might as well just eat oil for lunch. $ 10 price tag for oil? Check? However, I was eyeing that brownie… It looked homemade. But, I didn’t dare to taste it fearing disappointment, especially from a place like Lee’s.(Did someone mention fudge? Oh wait, that was me.) Fro-yo machines — Check Chips and sandwiches — Check Convenience — Check Grumpy and unfriendly workers — Check So, in summary, if you are a car, you’re all set. Oh wait, that’s not even the right kind of oil.

I like coming here for breakfast when I arrive early. They have a breakfast bar and charge by weight. They have quite a few items even though it’s early in the morning. Breakfast items like eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon as well as dim sum and other items.

Excellent wide selection of food items including breakfast in the mornings until about 10am or they run out, huge salad choices including pastas and sushi. Everything is made fresh and replenished by the minute, always clean and attended. Grab a to go salad in and out regardless of the line under 7 minutes. The location is very nice, clean with good energy, great vibes filled with corporate and hard working contractors. I been coming here often and will continue to do so. Compared to the other location of Lee’s, this is the best one.

This place is awesome. It’s cheap, good quality food, and the staff there works really fast to get customers in and out(it’s fast food after all)

I have been walking by this place since 24 Hour Fitness is close by. Today, I had the need to crave for a salad. Lee’s Deli had a salad bar and this is one of the eateries with this option. Walked in after my workout session and got a salad consisting of romaine lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese and smoked turkey with pita bread(cut evenly into quarters). This is definitely an excellent spot for lunch here at Marathon Plaza. Overall, positive first experience here so I will definitely be back. Bonus points for: — Cleanliness of facility — Freshness of prepared food items — Seating available inside and outside — Friendly staff team — Good service

I think enough has been said about this place. Lot’s of options. Some people say it’s not fresh, but given how many people come here for food, I can’t imagine anything is leftover. I got a Vietnamese sandwich($ 5 after tax), and while the flavor wasn’t there, it was plenty filling. I’ll have to try the other stuff and update my review in the future, but really the price is good here. Try eating under $ 10 anywhere else around SOMA.

An average rating for an average place. This place is located in the 24 hour fitness shopping center, 1 block up from the G St Truck Food Lounge. They have a Chinese bar which actually consists of tasty dishes that will put you in a MASSIVEFOODCOMA. They have a ghetto salad bar, and even ghettoer sandwich place where they microwave the meats for you(barf). What happened to real deli sandwiches? Most of the sandwiches are bland despite what they advertise, they have one counter for cc/debit and another for cash.

Not my favorite place for a Sandwich , But it does have a nice Steam Table, plus they stock Shrimp Dumplings(Har Gow) which are crammed with Shrimp, For the Steam Table, its an easy recommend

TL: DR: Dim Sum = Excellent, Salad = Kinda Sketchy, Overall = Amazing Entertaining Detailed Review: After reading through some of these one and two star reviews here, all i have to say is … HATERSGONNAHATE. One star because the cashier wasn’t nice? Are you a little 5 year old girl? I work in the office building next to Lee’s and my coworkers and I love it. It’s generally super quick and easy to get your food and leave. As others have mentioned, it has a massive variety of food. Breakfast? Check. Salad? Check. Sandwiches? Check. RAMEN? Check. DIMSUM?! Check. I want to mention the Dim sum in particular. The dim sum = incredibly underrated. The har gow(shrimp dumpling) is big and really good. Same with the siu mai(pork + shrimp dumping). Also, because the price is by weight, you can get dim sum for wayyy cheaper than a sit down dim sum place. Only thing is, you should arrive there a bit earlier, between 11:30 –12:30 or else it’s all gone. Also, Lee’s is great if you are trying to eat healthy or low carb. They have steamed fish, barbeque chicken and all kinds of veggies. The salad bar might be kind of sketch though. The lettuce and everything else do kind of look like they’ve been sitting out for a while.

If I could sum Lee’s Deli up in one word, it would be «shmorgishborg.» As in, there is literally a shmorgishborg of foods available here. Craving dim sum? It’s here. Salad? It’s here. Soups? Here. Sandwiches? Chinese food? Froyo? Burgers? Sushi? All here. I could go on and on. Quality is a hit or miss. Dependent on the time you go, you will either be greeted with freshly made foods or sad and cold looking foods. For the«by weight» price? I say it’s worth the gamble.

I work in an office above Lee’s so I go here often just for convenience. The sandwiches are pretty good and so is the salad/Cold bar. I am generally not a fan of their hot food as they start putting it out at 8am and it sits there for hours before lunch which is really unappealing to me. I think it often taste funky because of it too. The one thing that really bothers me is depending on who rings you up the price can be drastically different. Some people do not minus out the charge for the container like they are supposed to and they also charge tax which would be fine except the people who do minus the container weight don’t charge tax generally so the price can vary a significant amount.

This place is highly convenient for me because the office is right above Lee’s deli. I go here to get lunch when I’m too busy to go far for lunch, have no time to sit down in one of the nearby places, and /or not willing to wait in line for a food truck. Getting food is fast, there is chinese, indian selections, some cheap sushi I wouldn’t really trust and a salad bar. They also make sandwiches. I would say food is alright. It’s not terrible but it isn’t anything to go wild about.

Hey Bay Area folks, do you ever get tired of all the pretentious, hoity-toity, precious, affected, and overblown food-speak around here? Do you ever wish you could get a sandwich for $ 5, like you can in most other parts of the country? Do you ever want to read a menu and not feel like you’re in another version of the«chicken» episode of Portlandia? Do you want to eat something without a lot of breathless adjectives on the side? Well then get yourself to Lee’s. They hardly speak English, they have just basic sandwich, salad, and buffet options, and the atmosphere is minimal. But they will never short you on the meat – roast beef sandwich is about 1⁄6 of a cow – and by being simply affordable, regular food, it’s quite refreshing. P. s. one star off for the incredibly flimsy napkins; the tradeoff for a $ 5 lunch is killing a tree every time.

Great selection of every quick-lunch option you could imagine — dim sum, Chinese food, full salad bar, sandwiches, etc. I ended up getting a tuna sandwich on ciabatta bread. The bread is soft and huge in diameter, which makes for a very worthwhile lunch for $ 5. I also paid 35 cents extra for cucumber, but that was worth it. Lee’s is very generous with their meat in the sandwiches(or in my case, tuna). My friend got the club sandwich and it looked HUGE — it probably came with 6 slices of bacon but she asked for less(probably to be healthy). Major props to her, because when someone offers me that much bacon, I say«yes, please». Look forward to coming back anytime I need to grab a quick bite to eat! I probably wouldn’t get the self-serve Chinese food because who knows how long that’s been sitting out there…
