Mike offers a style and sophistication that can only be acquired through natural talent and devoted experience to his practice. This shows in his interactions with his clients. He prioritizes the satisfaction of his clientele above a high chair turn over. He makes it a point to never rush through a job and can only be qualified as an artist.
The atmosphere provided is modern, comfortable and clean-​it is a far cry from a high-​brow, pretentious salon. Mike makes you feel comfortable with easy chatting and ability to suss out the style you are attempting regardless of your hair expertise. I personally have never been a returning customer to a stylist before, but Mr. Page has turned me into a regular.

I had a great time getting my hair done with Mike and his assistant. They were both wonderful and fun to talk to. Mike did a great job with my hair and really understood it! He talked me out of bleach (I have Indian hair) and instead did a natural balyage that didn’t damage my hair. My haircut was super cute too!
Mike himself is really fun to hang out with — we talked for hours. I saw some weird comments on here about him, but i’m glad I chose to ignore them. If you’re a nice person, he’s a nice person back. If you try to walk all over him, he won’t let it happen, which I respect.

I have been going to Mike for the last 2 years while living in SF. I absolutely adore everything about his service, salon and the relationship I’ve been able to develop with him. I appreciate how much he cares about his work and how thorough he has been with me each and every time I’ve visited. I am now moving away to NY and am so sad to have to leave Mike’s salon. Him and McKenzie are AWESOME.
I originally found Mike through a Lifebooker and had to return after he did such a great job. I have very fine, long blonde hair and he has done really nice work of highlighting in such a way so that I don’t have to return for about 4 – 6 months (no harsh ‘line’ of grow out).

Mike is wonderful! Today started as a small hiccup with his assistant not showing up to help and Mike being the only one there! However, he did not seem to be stressed at all! He carefully took his time with every one of his clients. Great hair stylist! I spend literally half my day there hanging out chatting with him and other clients while he cut, treated, and color my hair. Mike wants to get to know his clients and I can tell how genuine he was.
I love my new cut and color. I showed him two pictures of what I wanted and he knew exactly how to treat my hair. Before I came in, my hair was all messy and all over the place.
After the treatment and hair coloring, my hair feels light and not damaging of any sorts!
The wait for first time clients are usually about 3 – 4 weeks! So book in advance.
The salon is beyond gorgeous :) all white and comfy! Dog friendly too!
Would definitely go back to Mike next time!

Mike gave me a good cut, but I think he needs to improve on his interpersonal skills. He asked me how I wanted my hair cut, so I told him. He seemed distracted, so I repeated my request, to which he responded, «do you cut hair?» Then, another customer and his assistant required his attention. So when he came back to my chair, I reiterated my request hoping to finally elicit a direct response or better yet, his opinion. Instead, in a highly irritated manner, he stated, «Look! Do you want me to cut your hair or not! You’ve told me at least 5 times! You just have to let me do my job, but you keep telling me the same thing!»
Even though I like his work, and he also has the sweetest and most helpful assistant, I’m reticent to recommend this salon or to return.
