Their spicy eggplant is maybe my favorite thing in the world. Also, the staff is super nice and accommodating.

This is the finally straw I order food it didn’t come I ask the man at the restaurant too stop the delivery and refund me my money he said he would and it’s been two weeks and no money but Eat 24 took the money from my account. This is bullshit I love this place but not worth this stress.

Their daily lunch special’s a good deal. You get a salad, Tom yum, spring rolls, rice, thai iced tea and any viand. Green curry was on the spicy side. Love their Thai tea of course. Food was good

Stopped in for a quick to go order to take back to the hotel. Owners were very helpful and attentive while we waited; restaurant was clean and well appointed. We ordered Pad Thai Chicken and Chicken Satay — delicious. Total cost with tax was $ 17.40. Would definitely stop here again!

DELIVERYREVIEW: (called«Ratcha Thai» on Eat24 app) Speedy delivery! Ratcha has quickly become my go-to delivery place when I’m craving Thai food or I just don’t feel like cooking. This place is by far the quickest delivery I’ve had. I live on near the Embarcadero side of North Beach, which can be a little tricky to get to, but Ratcha has delivered my past few orders in only 25 minutes! I love that. The spring rolls are excellent. I’ve had both the fried version(veggie) and the un-fried version(with shrimp). The fried version comes with 5 pieces, un-fried with 6. The peanut sauce included with the un-fried spring rolls is addicting! The«healthy» chicken with garlic noodle was a little on the fatty side, but still tasty. The best dishes are the pad thai and pad see ew. Ratcha has yet to let me down. I’m certainly a loyal fan and will undoubtedly be ordering delivery again soon– that’s a fact!

I always get Chicken Pad Thai or Pra Ram at Noodle Bar and Grill and I love it! This place is the best Thai place I’ve ever been. You can get free Thai iced tea and salad during lunch time. Servers are so kind anytime.

No idea what the heck happened here. Ordered a honey glazed pork with garlic noodles. Pork was yummy. Glazed well and barbecued. The noodles however disappointed me. Where’s that garlic noodle taste that I had last time that made me come crawling back?! It’s gone!!! Also, they stuffed the bottom with bean sprouts and they didn’t give a lot of noodles. Ugh so disappointed today. Also, menu said it was $ 9 but total, I was charged 10.82… way to update the menu prices.

I frigging love Thai, it is without a doubt the Mexican of Asian cooking(bold flavors, lots of fat, spicy, can use chicken/fish/beef and all of it is good, and it’s cheap). So, when something that I love is done substandard; well, you can imagine that I will invoke the rules of the free market ie. if it sucks, and people say they love it when it sucks, they suck by association and it still sucks. That sucks. Before I start I will say this though, the delivery was very quick considering that I was on almost the opposite side of the peninsula, so their driver knows their stuff, and kudos for that. First, everything was just bland. So, before I go into everything else, just know that it was«meh» for flavors. Didn’t pop, didn’t make me go «hot dam that is flavor,» just a «hummm.I guess. Well, whatever.» Second, for what you are ordering everything is a little on the pricy side. Thai is cheap, they are never really sit-down places(well the really great ones that use street vendor cooking styles to maximize… you guessed it. flavors), so the rent isn’t killing them — you get the picture. So, while playing the«let’s charge more because then people will think we are better,» trick does work, but not on someone who knows their food. I Thought that everything should have been, price wise, a little less. Here is what we got: *Samosas: ok, not great, but ok. They were veggie style, crispy on the outside, filling on the inside. Dipping was a peanut based sauce, meh. Steak Salad: Wayyyyy to much fish sauce, like drowning in it. This is a drizzle on it dish, not«let’s make a salad soup.» Plus, the sauce style that they were going for did not work with the dish — too fishy, no citrus, had way too much onions. I have(always) had better. *Thai Fried Rice: This was the best thing that I got, but even then it was still just«meh.» Fried rice should have bold flavors, after all you just use yesterday’s rise, add leftovers, and fry the dam thing(lay off the oil and use a wok), and if you want it spicy use a chili oil, or saracha. I can make fried rice that is pretty good, and I have no cultural background with the stuff, nor a wok. It was closer to a sticky rice for consistency. *Wing of Love: Asian sesame glazed wings. These were ok, but little dry. *Spicy Sole Fish: GF said pass on this one. Same problem with the steak salad, too much fish sauce. Found it to have little fish, and what there was, was almost raw. She loves fish, but had to pass on this. *Tom Yum Soup(Vegetarian): This is my biggest beef with this restaurant(and a larger picture SF), there is one sure fire way to tell if the Thai place you are eating at is worth a dam, and knows what they are doing. Straw mushrooms in this dish, period. These mushrooms are just fantastic, they taste great(they really soak up the soup, and look/have great texture). If the place cares about how their food tastes then they have those mushrooms, if they are more concerned with profit and don’t really care then you’ll find oyster mushrooms cut in halves(yuck! Those have no flavor and suck). Guess what, this places uses oyster mushrooms. Overall, same problem as you get here all over the place(SF in general), tons of options, not much open after 10 p.m., pretty much everything the same but when you find that«one place» you get excited, and tons of people who have no idea how to cook, nor what tastes really good. But, think that service is what you want to read about with Unilocal(who cares, talk about the dam food), and want to share their opinion because they feel slighted instead of «Psst, hey you… good food over here. No wrong way, there be dragons over there.»

My company gets catering from here all the time and this last time seemed to be a favorite. We always get the veggie rolls, some sort of curry, some sort of beef, some sort of chicken, and some sort of noodles plus brown rice. Usually a salad if I decide we should try and be healthy. Everyone always loves everything they get and their party menu provides us with enough food for next day leftovers. There are so many great Thai places in the city, but this one provides you with online catering orders and gives you 5% back when you use eat24. My favorites — Lava beef — better than the shaking beef in my opinion. Little more flavor. Pad Ga Praw — Similar to a basil chicken. Just enough spice… mmm perfect. Cashew chicken is also very tasty. Curry — I can’t pick one. We’ve had red, green, and yellow at different levels of spice. I wish they had a pumpkin curry because you know we’d be getting that every time. The delivery is always on time and they’re great about providing serving spoons and utensils. I think this will become our new go-to Thai place. Unless we’re craving pumpkin curry. Then I guess it’s back to Unilocal

I frequently order from this place every Sunday for work lunches and while the food is good, the follow through on instructions is 50⁄50. I always choose the NOTSPICY option but what I usually get in terms of spicyness is like playing Russian Roulette. Sometimes my instructions are follow through, most times, it’s not because my mouth is dying and then when I look through the food, lo and behold, I find spicy pepper flakes strewn throughout by Pad Ga Praw. That’s my only gripe about it. Otherwise, everything is great.

This review is based only on the takeout/delivery. Food is pretty good all around. I usually get the eggplant with tofu or chicken and I really enjoy it. The sauce is great and almost like a thin curry. The tom yum soup is tasty and full of veggies. Pad Thai was OK. I get it’s a noodle dish but there just want enough else in this one even though I like the taste. They generally are more aggressive with the tamarin which I’m cool with. Takeout review only since the restaurant itself is very sad inside and has had at times smelled funky and at times bleached. Not ideal for eating

4 stars for takeout. No idea how the dining-in experience is. Make sure to speak clearly and double check your order on the phone because a number of issues are sure to lead to your order being inaccurate if you don’t do that. I learned this the first time when I was missing brown rice in my order, and then the second time when I had the employee repeat my order back to me, half of my order was wrong lol. The food has been really good so far, and is now my go-to take-out spot over Osha. The prices are half of what Osha’s are, and the food tastes exactly the same. The Wok entrees are very good, especially the eggplant one, and the Tom Yum is excellent. Reasonable prices and its open until 3am! Very convenient for late night munchies.

Definitely not overpriced ate here with 4 people 4 entrees they even offer free iced tea and salad with an entrée order(on weekdays only, but they gave it to us on a Sunday anyway). What a steal! Environment is clean and modernized. Owner mentioned they grow their vegetables how fresh!

8÷30÷13, 9÷5÷13 Pretty good Thai food in Chinatown. If I’m in the area, this is my go-to place for lunch. It’s quiet, low-key, and usually good service. It’s like a student co-op as everyone who serves here is like college student. They all speak Thai so this is legit — not Chinese people cooking Thai food! I almost always have Gai Ka Prow — the basil chicken over rice. My last time here they were out of jasmine steamed rice so they offered me brown rice but waivered the extra $ 1 charge. Basil chicken here leaning toward a saltier flavor. Minced chicken sautéed with green peas, carrots, and onion. Usually very basil-ish. I ask fur spicy so if you cannot eat spicy, opt for non spicy. Overall the food is good and service courteous. I’m not sure if they still have the lunch special with a salad(it’s really a small bowlful mixed green leaves with a sesame dressing) and Thai iced tea for $ 7 plus tax. Even without the free beverage it’s still a very good deal. For $ 9 – 10 you can get a combo with say, a basil chicken and an appetizer like egg roll. I was eyeing at neighbor’s green curry today and it looked delicious. Gotta come back for more!

This is our favorite Thai standby. We frequently order for pickup and have whittled the menu down to a perfect feast: yellow curry, pad see ew, pad ga praw, and brown rice. We’ve tried many other dishes like the pineapple fried rice, garlic noodles and shaking beef, but never quite enjoyed those. Tip: stick to the chicken

My friend said that this place is listed as Viet on Google, Thai on Unilocal, serves KBBQ ribs, places their lunch combos in Japanese bento boxes, but is located in Chinatown, and gives you a fork and spoon to eat with. Lol! I confused the heck out of them when they tried to looked up the place I recommended for lunch. I only come here for their combos because they are fairly cheap. They come with your choice of meat, garlic noodles, salad, chicken skewers, tom yum soup, and Thai ice tea for about $ 10. I would highly recommend their BBQ beef short rib or fish filet with garlic noodle combo. Their chicken one was below average(don’t get it!). I would probably say this place is a 3⁄5 star, but I added an extra for their customer service. You know that moment when you are so busy talking to your friends that you barely end up touching your food? Well that was me. I put everything in a to-go box and accidentally left it on the table. I tried calling the minute I realized, but they didn’t understand me clearly so I walked back here. By the time I came back they had tossed my barely eaten food into the trash. After they saw how disappointed I was they offered to make me a new one. How nice of them!

Combos are really cheap here. I’m not sure if it’s only a lunch time thing, but WORTHIT! I got the $ 9.95 combo with green curry, rice, salad, tom yum soup, vegetarian rolls & thai iced tea . Bf had the $ 10.95 combo with shrimp rolls, chicken fried rice, salad, tom yum soup, and tahi iced tea . If that’s not worth it, I don’t know what is. The green curry was a bit spicy, but that can be fixed by eating a lot of rice with it to balance it out. The tom yum soup was different than what I’ve had before, it was very tomato-y which was new to me. I’ve had tom yum soup before and it was never tomato tasting. Salad had a bit too much dressing, but you can always kind of wipe that off. Next time, I’ll ask for less dressing. The rolls were delicious, crispy, and hot. The thai iced tea was delish, sweet, and cold. The chicken fried rice tasted like something my mom would make, tasted like home, so I’m ok with that. The food took a while to come, even though the place looked empty, but it looked like they had a lot of deliveries to make. Overall, I would come back but ONLY for their combos.

Really mediocre. Got a combo with pork, satay chicken, garlic noodle, and tom yum soup. The tom yum soup was some of the worst I’ve had: a weak broth and no lemongrass flavor. I normally love tom yum, but I stopped eating theirs after a few spoonfuls. The satay chicken was decent, as was the pork. The noodles tasted like they were tossed in not-too-cooked garlic; there was no browning. The salad was iceberg; I only had one bite. I asked for«very spicy» and ended up without any heat at all. Service was slow. Despite being fairly empty, it looked like they were busy fulfilling tons of delivery order. I went on a Wednesday evening. Presentation was nowhere near what I saw in the photos. Two stars for being cheap and, I think, not making me sick.

My cousin and I came here because it was the closest restaurant that serves Vegan food in Chinatown. Since she is a Vegan, we customized the orders to be strictly based on Vegan diet! It was actually my first Vegan meal ever! I must say that it was good, but I am not sure if I can last a month of only Vegan food! Vegetarian rolls — Not deep fried and the hint of sweetness to the sauce that they provide with the rolls, complimented the appetizer quite nicely. Their stir-fried rice noodles were made fresh and you can tell that it is fresh when the noodles are not sticking together and nicely soft! The sauce they used was different in a way that it was subtle and mushed well with the noodles and veggies! Service is good to go — they modified their dishes to adjust our Vegan needs! It is a chill place and an easily overlooked place on Broadway street. Recommendation — They should stay open till the late night hours because it is named as a bar, after all, and the vibe looks like it would cater to the late night crowd since it was so quiet at dinner!
