Oak Street Market

Of all the corner stores around me, I prefer this one. The gentleman that runs the place is incredibly kind and gracious.

This place has awesome deals on 22oz. of beer. Usually a dollar cheaper than other places in the neighborhood for the same bottle. They don’t have a larger selection, but I don’t care when I am saving a dollar.
The owner is friendly as well.

This place is as good as it gets for a tiny corner store. Their prices are on average about $ 1.50-$ 2.00 (wine, Orangina, soup) below the other corner stores within a block or two of them. No frills, the kind gentleman behind the counter is always friendly and is actually doing a disservice to himself with his prices.
I cant believe I have lived a block away from this place for two years and just discovered it– the dangers of walking downhill towards Haight. Definitely check out this place and see if they have your staples.

They carry the extra-​fancy Hagen Daas ice creams. Each time we buy one the shopkeeper explains it is slightly more expensive, because it is the extra fancy one, although we never complain in the first place.
A top-​rate little shop.

One of the coolest little corner stores around. Maybe 2 minutes from my house and always has the most random stuff I find I need at odd hours. Which is good because they dont have set hours. Open from whenever to whenever. Super friendly owners and inexpensive. Check it out.
