This is my kind of spot! A tiny store front kicking out some incredibly fresh and delicious food. The service is prompt and very friendly. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap… I’m at a loss for words it was so good. The Falafel? So fresh. So good. Even their hot sauce is notch above the usual! Did I mention how fresh the Tabouli was! I am going back for more!!!

I stumbled upon Oasis Grill randomly after an outing in Embarcadero and I’m so grateful that I did. The wraps here are probably some of the best Mediterranean wraps I’ve had. I chose the eggplant pomegranate wrap and tried some of the spicy chicken shawarma wrap. Both were super flavorful, good amount, and pretty much perfect. I like how the wrap itself isn’t too thick so you can really taste the ingredients inside. Definitely make a stop here if you want a quick food option.

As I walked inside of Oasis Grill for the first time, I proudly cried out, «I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord.» My boyfriend just smirked at me, as usual. Food: I seemed to have annoyed the staff with my questions and indecisiveness, everything on the menu just seemed so amazing. Finally decided on the chicken mediterranean melt. Holy smokes, likely the best lavash wrap I’ve ever ingested. Tender, flavorful & juicy grilled chicken smothered in roasted bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, onions, etc. topped with house garlic sauce… swaddled in a grilled lavash. Utterly and ridiculously delicious. They melt part should be removed from the title, definitely no melt, more cheese please! I do love that they can make it as spicy or non-spicy as you’d like. I like SPICE, so this excited me more it should have. I’m Mexican, but don’t like burritos, I told my boyfriend this was the closest thing to me eating a burrito. Recently realized there is a location in Berkeley, I know where I’ll be on my future lunch breaks. Price: About $ 9.00 for a delicious and healthy portioned meal. Very reasonable. Service: A bit unpleasant, they seemed aggravated by me and I was the only person in line. Not sure if that’s normal, but it was a little inhospitable that we decided to take our food and eat across the street. Ambiance: Small, clean & claustrophobic-y spot in the Financial District. Food is delish, does ambiance even matter? Definitely grab ‘n go spot. Overall: Simple, authentic, tasty, filling & melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious. I highly recommend Oasis Grill.

Mediterranean magic. I suppose if we were in a desert with no water, this place would actually look like an Oasis. It’s a place I come back to time and time again. I wish the prices were a little lower for what I consider a NYC street cart food, but the bastions of SF FiDi people needing a fix have marked it up accordingly. It’s still worth it. The workers here are beyond cordial and you get the feeling that you’re walking into someone’s kitchen for lunch you can grab really quick. I mean really quick. With the hoards at lunch and at any time, they want your order so you can get in and out. There’s hardly any seating here besides two tiny stools, so really just grab it and go. Get the chicken, lamb, beef, whatever schwarma. If you’re a health nut, go vegan and get the falafel. Either way, anything I’ve had here has been fantastic. Check it out and just get it SPICY!

Wow just wow. Plain simple and delicious the best hummus outside of the Mediterranean. We ordered the chicken shish kabob platter and the chicken shawarma platter and both were delicious. If you want to explore simple delicious dinner this is the place to go!

Simple, flavorful, Mediterranean goodness! Don’t let this small spot fool you. The food is delicious and probably by far the best in the area. The menu consists of classic Mediterranean dishes. You can get pita wrap, lafa wrap or a platter with your choice of kabob chicken, steak, shawarma or lamb. All delicious. The food is cooked to order right in front of you so it’s not sitting there or pre made. Absolutely delicious. My favorite dish is the kabob chicken platter with two sides. The chicken is white and grilled and perfectly cooked. The rice is tossed with mini veggies and whatever salad dressing they use is absolutely amazing. The hummus is on point as well. I’ve had hummus from all over the world and this spot has some top notch hummus. Definitely come here if you’re in the area.

Spicy falafel wrap always hits the spot. This place is great if you want something quick(it pretty much has to be quick because you can’t sit down inside), cheap, a little on the healthier side, and filling. This is a nice break from the all too common bland foods in the FiDi. They have plates as well, but again — spicy falafel wrap is what I’m here for. Everything is already put together in the wrap and you get a little taste of everything in each bite(or maybe I’m just lazy. This isn’t about that tho). Every time I’ve come here I’ve witnessed them frying the falafels to order which is a HUGE plus. Nothing worse than a cold, dry falafel. Also they toast the lavash wrap right before wrapping it in foil. I would say go early, or late lunch. The line here gets real pretty quick. Although — they handle it really well and the line moves quickly. It all depends on your timeframe. Anyone working in the area should definitely check this place out. They also have baklava!

Came here to grab a quick dinner before I head back home, finally tried their lamb and beef gyro, it was highly recommended. It was delicious, love their yogurt sauce, big portions and good load beef and lamb inside. Satisfied indeed and recommend! Service was great as usual, fast & quick.

I came to check this place out because it’s got a really high rating on Unilocal and people seem to love it for lunch. Based on the Unilocal recommendations, I decided to get the chicken shawarma with spicy sauce. The portion they gave was good and it was under $ 10, pretty good for the value. However, the spicy sauce was a little too overwhelming for me. I like spicy food, but this was sharper and more sour in flavor — reminded me a lot of tabasco and there was a little too much. Also, the shawarma was pretty big for me so I could only eat half for lunch and saved the other half for later. Make sure you eat it fresh cause otherwise the wrap gets kind of mushy from the sauce after sitting there for a few hours. But the chicken shawarma was flavorful and the ingredients tasted fresh. I’d probably opt for the wrap without the spicy sauce or a plate next time, or tell them to go a little easier on the spicy sauce for me. If you’re coming here for lunch, come around 11:50a to avoid the line. The line moves quickly but you can avoid it if you come a little earlier. Also, it’s kind of unclear where you order from exactly if you do come early and the line hasn’t formed yet. Just go to the person behind the counter on the left and give him your order. You pay at the cashier on the right, which is the end of the line.

Dragged myself onto the cold streets at 8pm on Tuesday and walked a few blocks for some quick dinner. I was ecstatic to find a Mediterranean place still open in the later hours of the night. This Oasis Grill location is definitely a grab and go type of deal. You order from any available cook at the counter and pay at the register. There were a good number of others also waiting in the little hole-in-the-wall space that was Oasis Grill, but service was quick and efficient. The person who took your order will be the one to deliver it piping hot and into your hands without so much as making a note of who had what. It was impressive, to say the least. As for the food, I had the Chicken Shawarma. Compared to others that I have eaten, Oasis Grill took the cake. I’ve had shawarma on pita, but I think the lavash wrap style they had here was better in terms of easier handling. Lavash contains all the goodness inside, and the initial first bite reveals a carefully administered preparation of ingredients rather than half-haphazardly sprinkled bits and pieces. Everything is wrapped up first, and the whole thing tossed on the grill for some nice char marks. If you are looking for some quick eats, come to Oasis Grill. May you beat the food-time rushes.

The dude who runs this line has a mind like a steel trap. It’s totally insane in here at lunch time, but he does his best to get everyone’s order taken as quickly as possible, and he somehow — against all odds — remembers everyone’s order after firing it off to his line like a drill sergeant. Over time they’ve started to take online orders so it’s even more insane than usual with delivery people coming in to grab big bags of orders. The quality has gone down as they struggle to keep up with the demand. This time around, I got no hot sauce and old falafel balls and a wrap that was only marginally warm. And they go heavy heavy heavy on the tahini so you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a soggy mess on your hands. And all you can order at lunch are wraps. No plates until after 3 p.m. If I could just buy a combo plate and eat it with a fork without drenching myself in tahini I would. Mediterranean food is best when you’re picking and choosing your favorite combinations of ingredients in the amounts you want. With pita or shawarma. Here, there is only lavash, but I don’t fault them for not offering pita because that’s just how they roll.(Get it???) A suggestion for the owners: You need to partition your lines and do what Mixt Greens and Focaccia and others do very successfully — have one line for made-to-order wraps(«have it your way») and a second line that only has make-ahead meza plates and also fulfills Internet orders. You’d sell a zillion to-go meza plates to people(especially vegetarians) who don’t want to wait in the big line. And you’d un-gum-up-the-works of your current system. Also, rethink your meat. It’s not that flavorful and by necessity has to sit around until it hits the line. But it could be stellar with a few more spices. Just squirt all that cooked meat with a lemon/garlic/oregano/oil/vinegar mix before sending it out the door. You’ll work wonders. Also, maybe just a teeny bit less tahini. Consider tzaziki. Just consider it.

Let me cut to the chase: the wraps aren’t mindblowing, but they are fresh, flavorful, and healthy-ish. I’ve had dozens of better Mediterranean meals, but the chicken shawarma wrap here wasn’t bad by any means. It’s fresh lettuce and tomato with TONS(8−10oz) of well-marinated chicken piled on and doused in spicy, garlic, and yogurt sauces. The heat wasn’t unbearable, but it’s enough to make your nose run. The lavash could have been fresher, but they’re a small enough operation that I can’t really expect them to bake their own. I do like that they grill the assembled wraps much like La Taqueria does with their burritos. My biggest issue is that it gets soggy REALLY quickly with how much sauce they stick in it. You pretty much have to eat the wrap right away or be faced with mush. For you chocolate lovers out there, they sell REAL European Rittersport(not the American version), which is very hard to find. It took me all my willpower to not stock up on them. One bar-style seat in-house; plan to eat your meal elsewhere(but fast!)

These people are incredibly talented for somehow remembering everyone’s orders without a numbering system of any kind. I am always mesmerized! The lunch plates are very tasty and filling — enough for two lunches for me. The wraps are also amazing! This is definitely one of the top lunch spots in my work area(Embarcadero center). One star knocked off for the really high prices, given that there is absolutely no seating.

Get the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and call it a day. It’s a great grab and go lunch, not the best Shawarma ever, but it’s more than solid. You have the option to get it spicy, which isn’t too overwhelming — I’d say it’s a 6 on a 10pt scale. Make sure you grab extra napkins, there’s a sauce pool towards the bottom of the wrap and does not go well with a white shirt. I learned the hard way. Long lines at lunch time, but it goes quick. Maybe 10 minutes for around 20 people in front of you.

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch on a Monday around 1pm — when I walked in, a friendly guy with a notepad quickly took my order and handed me a number. I went over to the register and paid, and in less than 5 minutes I had a gigantic salad packaged up and ready to go! The seating area is clean, well-lit with lots of sunshine, and there’s plenty of room to sit. A lot of the folks coming in around lunch are like me — making a mad dash for grub before turning back to our glowing screens. Mmmm… Mondays. I got the Greek Salad($ 8, no meat) — so huge! Tons of fresh chopped romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, kalamata olives, chunks of feta, and tossed in a light vinaigrette. So tasty, and enough food that I was able to snack on it all day. Next time I’m in a rush, I’ll be back!

Everyone here is super slow and clearly doesn’t know/understand their own menu. We had to say what we wanted 3 times and had the cashier guy charge us 2 different amounts. We had the falafel wrap. the bread was a bit hard to my liking. So it was basically a wrap with 2 falafels, lettuce and yogurt sauce. We also ordered the Shish Taouk chicken platter which took about 10 minutes to make. The platter consisted of 8 chicken kebabs, 2 sides(we got the humus and cucumber tomato) and rice. The rice was pretty bland so we asked for hot sauce. The chicken was pretty good and tender. Be careful of skewer stick pieces when you eat your rice cause we definitely found one
