Sck Salon is a typical Asian hair salon in San Francisco. You’re not coming in for the ambiance but rather for the efficiency and reasonable cost. For $ 18+tip, Sherry cut my hair to just below the shoulder and took the weight off with lots of layers. I personally think you can find other hair stylists on Taraval for similar pricing if not a few bucks less but I wanted a haircut on a relatively short notice. I was able to schedule my appointment day of by calling in advance and there was no wait. She is professional and does a satisfactory job — I’d probably return again because I am happy with my haircut. If I wanted a daring haircut, I’d be a bit more hesitant because I asked for a relatively simple, common style and have yet to see her hand at difficult haircuts.

Great service and inexpensive prices! I usually get a trim + bang cut for about $ 16 or a bang cut around $ 6 which is not bad at all!

I bring my kids here for their haircuts. Sherry is always good to them and my kids love her. They said she listens to what u want. According to my 10 year old, she deserves FIVE STARS!

It’s surprising that not many people know this place, I feel like it should be put out more. It’s a hole in the wall but the stylist is a real gem. I’ve been to other salons, but this place is the best out of all. Every single time I get a haircut in this place, I get nothing but compliments. I only pay $ 14 for a layered haicut– cheap and the stylist does an amazing job! I totally recommend.

The owner/​cutter knows what she’s doing. I’ve paid almost $ 100 at fancy salons downtown and in the Mission. My haircuts are no worse at this place and I pay one fifth the price. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but it’s the cut that matters. Take my kids there and always get a great cut for them for less than Supercuts.
