Serrano’s Pizza

Waited an hour for delivery, delivery came after the store closed, so when i tried to contact them but they don’t even pick up. Waited until 12:35 am to receive my order even though I was only a 7 min drive away. The pizza was cold and hard. My worst experience ordering pizza in San Francisco

I had enough with this place… Although their pizza is good I got sick of the constant delays… They say they deliver in 45 – 60 minutes but it’s always longer (around 1h20m). Today I ordered again and although I was informed that they are busy and delivery will take 1h30m it’s been 2hrs and still waiting…
I’m a fairly regular customer and I’m tired of being treated this way… I used to work in a pizza place before and regular customers were always prioritized…
Although I like their food this was my last order with them…

I’ve been ordering from here for years and the pizza and the delivery time is just getting worse and worse and worse and I’m talking that I’ve been delivering from for 10 years, they suck now!!!
I don’t want to have to call, here are the things:
Never same size slice huge or small, make em just large.
Every time I put notes for xtra anything pep, cheese. Never happens
Recently it’s been over an hr& a half delivery unless from those two old school guys! They’re always Koo
I can erase the additional comments, after you read them if you’d like,
You Ass Hat!!! I always tell them to charge me, I don’t ask for free shit! To Hell with Serrano’s!!!

Fucked up place… Some bitch in the counter really had a lot of attitude for no reason and tried to be short with me and my lady. Then the owner yelled at some black guy that was helping them deliver pizza boxes really fucked up…

Serrano’s Pizzeria is in a working class area of San Francisco. The exterior looks unpretentious, but the inside is very nice with pictures from day’s gone by on the walls. The Pasta we had was truly excellent. The Price we paid was about average — not as low as a run of the mill Pizza Parlour but you wouldn’t expect that anyway in such a nice Restaurant. Service was super fast as well.
I recommend it anytime.

T+0: place my order for a chicken pasta, small salad with bleu cheese, garlic bread, Orangina. Having read the reviews on here, I know others have encountered issues, but I’m really craving pasta, so what the hell. Delivery estimate 45 – 60 minutes.
T+10 minutes-​ish: Serrano’s confirms the order.
T+68 m: I call Serrano’s. They’re unable to get in touch with the driver or tell me more info, but they say my order’s on the way.
T+82 m: I chat with Eat24 support to figure out what’s going on. Sarah is busy but super nice.
T+95 m: Serrano’s driver rings my doorbell. He’s apologetic, understandably.
The garlic bread was decent, the chicken completely overdone, the pesto okay, the linguine *far* from al dente, and the side salad inedible (complete with packet of Ken’s bleu cheese dressing. /​sigh). The Orangina was just fine.
Not again, sorry.

Cheap and addictive!

Pizza by the slice* (or whole) made to order! Definitely worth the 10 – 15 min wait. *portions matter.

One of my go to’s in the Mission. Fast and affordable.

Took over an hour and a half for an order of soggy and gross buffalo wings and an order of mediocre garlic bread.
This was the one and only time I will ever order from Serranos.

Not ordering from them again. Ordered a calzone for delivery at 7:38pm. Received a badly burned one at 9:20pm. Inedible.

I ordered from Eat 24 a slice of pepperoni, a slice of margarita, Cesar salad and a slice of chocolate mousse. The pizza came pretty quick under 40 mins. The 2 slices are pretty big and was still warm, and tasted like any other pizza. My daughter enjoyed the whole Cesar salad to herself and it was also a big portion. The best part was the chocolate mousse… yummm!!!

I actually drunk dialed Serrano’s (through the Unilocal app) instead of another place, but let me say I was glad to have made this mistake!
Serrano’s serves a thin crusted pizza, and hits the spot in terms of quality. We ordered delivery for an XL all meat pizza, and it fed 4 hungry people easily. The pizza arrived in less than a hour, which during fleet week on a Saturday evening was plenty fast for us.
I’ll definitely order again from them, and actually prefer their pizza over other spots such as bernal pizza or seniore’s.

I don’t even know what to say about this place except PHENOMENAL! I seriously love coming here. My BF lives super close and even on the lazy days we don’t want to walk the block and a half to pick up our pizza the delivery men/​women are prompt and always come to the door happy to bring us our food.
One big piece of advice I can give is to order your pizza extra crispy. They load so much of the good stuff (i.e. sauce and toppings) that it makes the pizza really heavy and the bottom can get a little soggy. The sogginess by no means makes the pizza less good but if you’re a messy eater like I am you’ll appreciate the extra sturdiness, otherwise your shirt might meet your toppings.
Also try the pesto pizzas with pineapple — yum.

Great Pizza! Really good. Nice service. Easy to get into. VERY SMALL area to eat in. Probably best to order ahead either electronically or by calling and then pick up to go.
Interesting collection of pizza choices. Plus, you can build your own as well.

How dare I? — there you are being snappy again. That proves one point.
Second — 9:23? How about you called us downstairs at 9:37 and because you refused to find legal parking to come up and deliver — it was 9:40 when I took possession of our food which is when the delivery was actually made.
Third — yes, you called and asked to meet downstairs to which I said you’re already so late but I’ll come and meet you. So, yes, I did agree. But only because we were starving and frustrated and the only option to get my food was to meet you because again, you refused to find legal parking to deliver. And yes when asked why you were so late, you were a snappy little dick about it.
If infact the delivery is for 1 – 1.5 hours, the way to tell a customer is not by being snappy, but maybe in an understanding, apologetic way — would probably save us from all of this back and forth.
Last — $ 1 tip? Try $ 4.00. On a $ 22 order, I’d say that’s pretty fair.
May I remind you that you work in service and customers may not always be right and you can have that opinion but you asked me to be a man about it and tell the TRUTH, so there — I am telling it. Oh and because we are on about telling the truth, I made a mistake, the order was at 8:10, not 8:05.

I ordered the food at 8:05. They delivered it at 9:40. That’s an hour and 35 minutes.
To make matters worst, the delivery guy who is super late, refused to come up to our 4^th floor apartment to deliver the food. Plus he was such a dick about it that when we asked why it was so late he was snappy and said — delivery time is 1 – 1.5 hours.

The real secret here are the lunch deals.
slice a soda and a salad sort of things for cheap.
A slice takes about 10 minutes, they make you your own little pizza slice personal pizza! So have a seat outside and watch 21^st street go by.
This is a serious amount of food for very little money.

I’m a huge fan of their pizza. The crust and sauce is delicious, and there is always ample toppings, with such a great variety. I pretty much order at least garlic and pineapple on every pizza I order, and it aways comes out delicious. They delivery quickly, and I have never had a wrong order. I pretty much only order from them when I want pizza delivered.

This isn’t high end «authentic/​modern» Italian food. It’s just tasty.

If you want/​need a «high-​end culinary tour of Italia», there are a million options around the Bay for you and if that fails AItalia will be glad to take your money and drop you off in Naples.
Serrano’s is solid Italian-​American food, with a predictable smothering cheese blanket that makes you feel safe and secure at night.
As a transplanted New Yorker, I need this.
Yeah, I know what my deceased grandmother’s freshly made hand-​rolled pasta/​ravioli tasted like and it’s not this.

This place, is for the cheese blanket. The cheese blanket and the cheese filing and the cheese topping. Did I mention cheese? Save the fancy ripieno for someone else.

I love this place. And will continue to use it for all my melted cheese with sauce and bread needs.

While their pizza was good the fact that it took 1.5 hours to get my pizza was crazy.
I placed the order through my Unilocal app (Eat Street) and waited 30 min before heading out from Daly City to pick up the pizza. When we arrived, we learned that they messed up on our order. Instead of making a medium Serrano, they made a slice of Serrano pizza. The order was fully paid and they should’ve noticed the difference between a $ 9.50 slice and a $ 30 pizza.
Good thing I was in the mood for a walk, so we walked Valencia for 25 minutes and received a call when our pizzas were ready. They didn’t offer anything in compensation for the inconvenience and didn’t even throw in any extra ranch for the mishap. Bad customer service. So sad…
