Starbucks is one coffee shop I can count on to be there with a store nearby when I need a cup of coffee. This location is obviously the best. It’s because the barista team on duty were very friendly. My order was ready to pick up in 5 minutes, which I thought is pretty fast. The vanilla latte(venti + iced) tastes very good. Overall, good experience here. Reasons for rating: — clean facility — friendly baristas on duty — prompt and courteous service The outdoor seating is a good spot to enjoy your pastry and coffee especially on nice days.

I love the baristas here! My two faves have the same name Steven and Steven! Steven is the singing barista who sings my name every time, and Steven is the barista that knows my name and greets me by name as soon as I walk in. I can be super crabby in the morning but as soon as I see these two, they really make my day. My usual, skinny vanilla latte when it’s cold out, iced vanilla coffee when it’s hot. It’s my favorite location, because the staff is super nice. The girls always get my name wrong but I don’t mind, that’s a starbucks thing I suppose. Bonus since it’s right next to my office. The line can get really long around 8am but it moves fast.

Just went to this Starbucks location for the first time. The aesthetics of the wood walls and trees just outside are nice, and it’s a good spot in FiDi. The line was pretty short at 7:30am because drinks were made at a consistent pace for every person. I will be back to this location because the barista handing out drinks was singing everyone’s name instead of shouting. I could tell he liked being there. Also, the barista at the register earned extra points for creativity when I received my cup that had«Rainie» as the name. After a pleasant exchange with my singing barista who corrected his singing for my real name, he suggested that I go by «Rainie» because we need the rain. Maybe he is right.

Yay this Starbucks is open on the weekend! Walking around the Financial district it seemed like a lot of coffee places were closed. We even passed a Starbucks that was closed too. Anyway this is your typical Starbucks. The service is okay, but a little bit slow. The restroom is kind of messy… but a lot of customers… mostly tourists(yes, i’m guilty) were using it. Happy to have found this Starbucks.

I work next to the building, but i make limited visits. Despite some morning shifts, every time I have gone into this Starbucks i have to deal with the same girl with a shitty attitude. She is rude, stares you down, forgets to write down the drink, even if you are the one to walk up and say«hi.» So there is no reason to have this attitude projected onto a guest who had not done anything. She doesn’t wet a name tag(I can see why) but she has light hair and wears oversized reading glasses like its cool. The other employees stand around a chit — chat about their miserable commutes home while one person is walking around stocking the store.

I haven’t had a problem at this location until today, when I went in to order a multigrain bagel and an iced tea. The girl ringing me up was distracted because a friend of hers came into the store and walked up to the counter to shoot the breeze with her while she was taking my order, and she was taking his drink order at the same time she was taking mine. At one point she asked, «What size?» and I said grande, and she goes, «Oh, no, I was asking him.» I’m sorry, I got here way before him, he just waltzed up the counter to schmooze with you, and you’re taking his order right now? She puts my bagel in the oven and my tea is ready very promptly, but I stood there for a long time waiting for the bagel until I was starting to feel stupid standing there and I had to start heading back to work. I also noticed that another employee, possibly a manager, was now cleaning the oven, so I was really curious as to what I was still waiting on. I ask the barista if my bagel is ready, he’s completely clueless, so he asks the woman cleaning the oven if a multigrain bagel is ready and she tells him I ordered an everything. I tell him it wasn’t an everything, it was multigrain, they both look really confused, and then the woman looks into the oven. There’s my bagel — blackened and burnt! They’re both embarrassed, but they shouldn’t have been. The idiot who rang me up and was too distracted chit-chatting screwed me over, not them. But the barista awkwardly asks me if I want an Asiago bagel, which I’m not interested in, and then asks me if I want anything else. At this point I’m beyond irritated and said I really just wanted the multigrain bagel and don’t want anything else, and he hands me a voucher for a free item on my next visit. I was appreciative, but I’m still out a couple bucks for something I paid for and never got, so I ask for my money back and he goes, «Oh, yeah, that would probably be nice…» The manager woman voids out the transaction on the register I was rung up on, and she hands me the receipt showing me she voided out the transaction, but she spots the tea in my hands and instantly gets irritated and goes, «Oh… Well, I just… I voided out the whole thing, so…» and waves a hand in annoyance that I got a tea for free. Uh, I’ve been standing here in front of you with it in my hands the entire time — you voided out the tea, not me, and your idiot employee caused the whole debacle in the first place. A misplaced attitude problem at the customer, rather than the employee that can’t multitask, isn’t going to encourage continued service. May just end up walking around the block to the Drumm location instead.

This is the only Starbucks in the financial district(dare I say, in the city) that has their sh** together. They are quick, efficient, they know how to make cold drinks and did I mention they’re quick. The staff here is polite and friendly without holding up the line with gabbing. I need a barista who makes coffee, not a friend. So OVER the long lines and 15 – 20 minute wait for a simple green iced tea at the other Starbucks in the Fidi(looking at you market street). I actually stopped drinking Starbucks in the city for almost a year because I couldn’t find a location that was quick and efficient. I hope they never change. I heart you California street Starbucks, thanks for never letting me down.

How can I give SIX stars??? I thought Bradley was over the top when he ran around to Drumm Street to get my bacon sandwich once — which I posted about previously. But today, he’s REALLY over the top! Today, he was out of sandwiches after the morning mob scene so he went to the Drumm St. location to pick one up, THEN he personally delivered it to my office(I’m in the attached office building, so don’t get any ideas! He ain’t a delivery boy!). WOW. Seriously?!? I only go to Starbucks to see this guy and his wonderful staff. Kudos — and(Starbucks, are you listening???) give him a big, fat raise please!!! (Oh, and did I mention they have the absolute fastest service of any store anywhere? I don’t know how they do it. Really. The line can be 30 deep and STILL they manage to get me in and out of there in 5 minutes or less. I’ve never seen another store like it.)

I’ve worked at a Starbucks, so I know how tough the job can be and I sympathize with the baristas. The people here are decent, there is one barista who always remembers my order, notices when I change my hair, and he is just the sweetest. The rest of them are nice enough, the lead who I believe wears glasses is always so cheery and energetic in the morning and they really go out of their way to make sure they spell my name right whenever I get a breakfast sandwich and I APPRECIATE that effort. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen«miracle» or «marccio» on a cup –_– I go here Monday — Friday and they’ve only burned my pastry once and gave me a free coffee in exchange. I’m a happy customer!

If a new reality TV show pitted Starbucks baristas against each other in a speed latte contest, this Starbucks location would win hands down. Do not be afraid of the line out the door. #1 — the door is at the counter, so 2 people in line is out the door. #2 — they will have you in and out of there in under 3 minutes no matter how many people are in front of you. No that’s not an official guarantee. I can’t be held responsible if it takes you 4 minutes. I have never had a bad drink here and despite the high volume of customers, the people who work here are incredible friendly. This is not a full Starbucks so there’s no seating. This is a get in and get out kind of place.(That’s what she said?)

Convince and efficiency gives this location the four stars. It’s not a full starbucks but kind of that quick to go order, express sort of location. It’s right under the building from where I work so perfect way to start the morning. It starts off with a line in the center which then splits two ways with two cashiers on either side. It’s a super fully staffed location where drinks almost come out faster than the order. On the left side you pick up drinks and on the right side is for food(just in case you didn’t know which way to go) A great thing about this location is even though they’re rushed and more busy, the staff really take the time to remember to face to the name and use your name when calling out drinks. They make sure that you receive your drink before the next one gets hollered out. The staff even sometimes walks your food out to you from behind the counter, which is absolutely more than I can ask for! I’ve never had any trouble at this location with refills or with making my drinks correctly. It’s everything a normal starbucks has, except it closes earlier and a lot smaller. But I love love that it’s right where I work and that they’re so efficient. Nothing like seeing the longest line in the world on a Monday grey morning and reaching the front before you realize it! Plus, it’s right off the Embarcado Bart station and if this one doesn’t’ work out, there’s another Starbucks on the back side of the block. Plus, there’s no whatsoever parking around this area!

GREATPLACE! So convient! –It’s right next to my building from work. –the service is great and friendly. –clean. I think the only downside is there’s no indoor seating so if I wanna chill, I gotta sit in the cold. In the mornings and lunch time, there’s a long line out the door(but I’m usually there before that mess even starts to happen). And free wi-fi, of course.
