Thai Hot Pot: first time here, food is delicious .you can have a lot of food. Beef is marinated and is tasty. Broth is flavorful-good old fashion chicken broth and if you want some Thai get some Tom Yun.:))

This review is solely for the shabu shabu. Not worth it at all! Yes, the special for $ 30 for 2 people sounds enticing, but it’s not unlimited. They are very stingy with their meat and to top it off they are sliced really small. So, by the time it’s done cooking, it’s much more smaller! Their portions are ridiculously small. They don’t have any type of broth options whatsoever, just plain ol’ water. It’s not even worth your money. I do not recommended this place. Spend your money elsewhere. Such a disappointment.

This place was amazing. Great prices, great food, great ambiance. Ordered the pat Thai noodles with prawns for $ 10 and it was enough to share with at least two. Drink prices were great too. A definite must try, especially if you’re in the area for a movie across the street!

If you looking for a good shabu-shabu place, than this is it. They made some special house made spicy sauce, and that makes me smile(but spicy, it will be prefect for spicy lovers)

Great service! Got a hotpot for 2 for $ 30 and it was more than enough. Great selection of cocktails for $ 6 and some good sake choices.

The roti of ice cream is soo gooooood! But you have to wait for it. Also the pineapple fried rice isn’t in the pineapple.

Solid 3 stars. The fried apps were delish, but that’s always the case! The dishes were mediocre at best as was the service. But a good spot to grab a quick bite before a movie if you’re in a pinch.

Great Thai food, nice people, service is good. Had pumpkin curry with vegetables, and the ginger stir fry with added broccoli. All really good. My friend had cod which he enjoyed. Try the sweet roti for dessert.

I’ve been here twice now and I’ve had two good meals! Today I had the panang curry with pork as a lunch combo. I also had a beer on tap(laugunitas). The place was empty except for one person, this is at noon in a Thursday. Service was fast and food was great. Big Windows in the place if you’re into that. There are a few other thai places within a few blocks but they’re mostly all closed for lunch. Thai Stick is perfect for lunch combo($ 9)

Terrible customer service, the young lady who was suppose to take our order stood at our table for 5 mins while we were over looking the menu then continued by rushing us saying, «the kitchen closes in 5 mins» even though we were here 30+mins before the closing time. Needless to say, don’t go here unless 6th want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen.

Wouldn’t recommend this place — staff was incredibly unfriendly and had a great time ignoring us every time we needed them, despite the place being empty. The food was okay at best — all I ordered was a veggie tofu dish and I felt nauseous afterward. Overpriced and unpleasant. Try some other local spots!

Thai stick is walking distance from my job and is one of the few restaurants around it that I am willing to order from. That being said I have ordered from Thai stick 10+ times and I order either the chicken pad thai or the mango and sticky rice. Although every time I come here the food is good, depending on the chief it is either good or really good! It is not the best Thai food I have had, but I appreciate the price for what I get. If you save room for dessert I would highly recommend the mango and sticky rice or the fried banna with ice cream!

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday after seeing there was a Thai Stick in the city. I had high expectations since that Stick in Millbrae is so good in every aspect. When our group finally got there, i noticed there were 2 other parties there. During lunch rush. Sort of a red flag right there. Inside, they tried to create some personality with the décor, but I really wasn’t feeling it. It felt cold. It may have been because our group got stuck in a booth in the far corner of the restaurant. Food came out. Two pad thai and two rice dishes. The pad thai eaters commented that it had a strong fishy taste. My fried rice and BBQ chx dish was good, but not memorable. What was memorable? The 3 huge flies hovering around our table. It was just weird. The whole lunch vibe. I’d pass on this place. Millbrae station is 10x better.

The food was okay but I feel that you can get better Thai food in sf. I had the«Pat Thai» as it was spelled on the menu. I ordered chicken but found it to contain tofu and chicken? I guess they ran out of chicken. All in all the food was decent but not exactly what I ordered. The food came fast but for some reason the waitress was rather reluctant to take our order initially. I told her we had a movie to catch and I do give them props for bringing us our food in time to make our movie. All in all the food was not amazing but I am being more generous because maybe they had to rush to get our food to us on time.

Bottom Line: Not worth trying, many better options around this hood. I ordered for delivery pumpkin yellow curry, pad thai and jasmine rice. It was all sub par, not awful just edible. The pad thai was unappetizing to look at(it was all flesh colored) and the yellow curry was red??? I think there was a mistake on my order. The rice was a tad over cooked but not so bad. Overall I was disappointed, and bit sad. It had been a while since I have ordered thai The delivery speed was average for a Friday night.

The best basil tofu– crispy basil was so good. Also have tried tom kha with chicken and Thai basil chicken-both are authentic and good. Pad Thai was equally good and enjoyed the crêpe– light and airy. Friendly service, water was filled often and the waiters were gracious. Will come again! Totally surprised it’s only rated 3 stars, and it has shabu shabu too!
