I forgotten to write a review about this place but I will never forget my awful experience! At first my husband and I loved this place. Good food, good service, awesome price. But we always ordered to go. Then one day while my husband went out for a ski trip, I had decided to take one of my friends to this restaurant because I wanted her to taste their awesome dragon beef! OMG after half way done eating it we saw a cockroach mixed in with our dragon beef! We nearly threw up in the table! I didn’t want to make a seen because I saw little kids eating near us with their family. The owner said their apologies and said the food was on the house. But still!!! My husband still misses their fried chicken and still haven’t found any other restaurant in the area to compare. But knowing their secret recipe, I would never go back to this place. I hope food inspectors come and check this place out so they can clean up their kitchen.

Tsing Tao has been a family favorite of my family for years, and for this cat personally it’s no exception! This place is perfect for those who want good affordable Chinese food quick, or a nice quick dinner with family. The menu here is very extensive and everything always taste hot and fresh. The service here is very friendly and kind. Delivery is the only thing that has me take off one star as numerous times we’ve had these young guys demand more tip for delivery to us, which we give, but it’s a bit annoying when they seem so annoyed at you because you gave them a tip that’s apparently not good enough. Two different delivery drivers have done this to us and it’s not pleasant. But besides that, everything about Tsing Tao food is perfect, and my family and myself are very loyal customers ^ ^ My favorites are the mushu pork, and walnut prawns. So good! Worth also trying is the«dragon beef». Sounds odd I know but trust me it’s amazing. Great all around go to Chinese spot! *chirp*!

I’m very surprised by the 3 ½ star rating here. This has been my main Chinese spot for years, and not once in the many amount of times that I’ve ate here did I have a bad experience. No offense to the people who are saying the food is average or «gross», but you probably should check yourself to make sure your taste buds are working. The food has been delicious every single time(over 50 times) I’ve been here. If you seriously think this place is not good, go ahead and let me know what you think is so great, and I’ll counter that, as any place has certain flaws. Secondly, if you are complaining about delivery time, don’t order delivery. Delivery is inconsistent all the time with every restaurant and really does not validate giving a 1 star. The lunch specials are amazing. For an entire portion of chow mien or rice and your pick of meat. you will pay no more than 10 bucks including tip, and that’s for food that is definitely above average. The environment is always very quiet in there. The food is made in literally 5 minutes if it’s a quiet day, and you never have to deal with crowds, lines or anything like that. Highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner to anyone in the area.

I have been waiting for my food to be delivered for an hour now! I ordered my food through the eat 24 app via Unilocal.I got a confirmation email order I placed my order the estimated time was 7:49p, it’s now been an hour! I ordered pot stickers, fried rice and Kung Pao chicken. Total for the order including tip was $ 31. I only live 3 blocks away from here I could’ve walked there and back 3 times within an hour! I have had delivery from here before it didn’t take this long! Next time I’m going to order a pizza instead of food from here. I’m really unhappy right now and hungry! I called and asked them where is the food I ordered, the guy on the phone was nice and apologized and said it would be another 15 – 20 mins also asked me if I wanted it still I said yes I still do!

This is my family favorite restaurant. We celebrate all our birthdays and anniversaries there. Staff is great and very friendly — they know us very well. But the food: the food is DELICIOUS! Although, we go there too many times, I always love and enjoy their food. Must Have: 1. Sweet and Sour Soup 2. Chow Fun 3. Lobster Puffs 4. and Honey Walnut Shrimps 5. and the rest of their menu! Enjoy your meal!

First off, the food is okay, the service is atrocious. I’ve had this place many times, but finally decided to eat there just to try it for once after having many okay take-out experiences there. The gentleman working there is very nice and is always pleasant to talk to. A very nice person overall who is professional about his business. Unfortunately, our waitress was the woman, who was very rude and quite hard to understand. Due to having food allergies, we had to ask about what a dish had, and quickly ordered another one instead when it did in fact have the allergen in it. All the while, she stood there gasping and grunting as if waiting those twenty seconds was the biggest burden of her life. Throughout the night, we noticed that no one left tips, and now I can see why. At the end of the meal, we got a receipt written entirely in Chinese with what seemed to the the total written on it as it was the only number on the paper. I payed in cash instead of credit and even left her a tip. Instead of a thank you, she comes back with an extra ten dollars pinned onto our bill. What was this for? Even after adding all of the food we ordered as well as the rice we were forced to buy(which we thought was complimentary given we had no choice but to get it and that it was«part of the meal», a big lie), this was a number still off by a good five dollars. Were tips included? God knows as everything was in Chinese. We left the table clean so it couldn’t have been a cleaning fee. The place was already very expensive as it was. This was the worst waitress I had ever encountered. She deserves much less than zero stars if I could give a review on just her service. Overall the service was atrocious, food is decent, and the tea tasted like water and smelled like soap. Would I eat here again willingly? Never. I suggest you do takeout if anything, but avoid eating in at all costs. Oh, and I got a hair in my food. One star goes to the gentleman working there and the other to the quick service(the key word is quick).

Super fast delivery. Decent, and inexpensive food. We got hooked on their beef chow fun for a bit, and now it’s on to their combination chow mein. They serve peanut butter with their scallion pancakes — bizarre, but delicious!

We ordered delivery and the food was gross. It had a funny smell like the oil they used to cook with was rancid and everything was overcooked with little to no flavor. I tried everything but my wife refused after smelling it. Turns out it tasted like it smelled, GROSS! Now I have a stomach ache and $ 70 worth of a Friday night dinner went in the garbage. This place is the worst! I wish I could have given it a lesser rating!

I have been going here since high school and they have always offer my friends and I excellent customer service. Even though, my friends may have been loud and immature during high school times, the servers always been kind and polite. I would suggest going during their lunch hours because its a great deal from 11am to 3pm. They give this really good sweet and sour soup with your before your meal! My favorites would be chicken with black bean sauce, sweet and sour prawns, and the dragon beef. Since I am not in the area as much and when I do get the chance to come here, I get the DRAGONBEEF! I feel that this may be one of their special dishes and a must try!

My daughter and I ate here on our way to the Legion of Honor. Nice, unassuming little place. The waiter was attentive, but inobtrusive. Food was great and big portions. We especially liked the Tsing Tao beer.

I have always wanted to dine at this outer-Richmond’s Chinese restaurant forever. As circulated, one of the restaurant’s preferential entrée’s is the Dragon Beef. So I came here for dinner after shopping at the CVS and Fresh & Easy plaza, which is located across the street. My definite target was indeed the Dragon Beef. For $ 9.50, I get cubes of beef flanks fried and sautéed in a unique sauce with a colorful broccoli florets surrounding. The dish is classified as a spicy dish. But the dish was not that spicy and very tender. I actually like this entrée. I also ordered a plate of vegetable fried rice for $ 8.95. I get a mixture of Chinese and American broccoli, frozen peas and carrots and scrambled eggs mixed with rice. «You know I easily eat for two a-holes!» The restaurant has a lengthy list of lunch specials that I may try on the weekdays. They also deliver to the outer Richmond and Sunset District, which is definitely a plus. The definite highlight of my dinner is the Dragon Beef, a must try!

Oh, boy. This place is SO good. The best part is, I’ve never actually eaten onsite. But I’ve had the delivery from there more times than I’d like to admit. At least 20. Probably 30. Maybe even 40. The chicken with zucchini is the best thing in the world and the potstickers are outrageously delicious. The crab puffs are sooooo good. I even like the chow mein and rice, and I’m not usually a fan. It’s always quick to be delivered, and super friendly. Highly recommend!

I recommend the honey walnuts chicken! It’s about $ 2 – 3 more expensive than their other entrées, but I would say it’s worth it. The chicken is sweet(but not too sweet), the walnuts on the side add a great crunch, and together with fried rice, it will make your taste buds pretty happy. When I lived in the Outer Richmond, Tsing Tao was my go-to restaurant whenever I was too lazy to make dinner for myself. I would order on the phone and within 10 minutes, my meal would be ready. Having that meal ready in 10 minutes is a little sketchy because it makes you question how freshly-made the food is, but when you get as hungry as I do, you tend not to care. Now, I live in the Outer Sunset where there are more options for Chinese restaurants, but Tsing Tao still remains my go-to restaurant when I am craving Chinese food. It is a $ 20 minimum for delivery and it generally takes about 25 – 30 minutes for my food to get to my house. I would also recommend Tsing Tao for lunch. For their lunch menu, most meals cost no more than $ 8 and it comes with a decent portion of rice and a good portion of meat. Definitely not a bad place to grab a quick, cheap lunch. Overall, you can consider me a Tsing Tao regular.
Ok… so my boo and I were famished after walking over and back on the Golden Gate Bridge. We decided we wanted Chinese so I Unilocaled some local spots and decided to try this little gem. To our pleasant surprise on a Sunday evening at 7pm we found parking fairly easy. I love small family owned restaurants but food can be hit or miss. Let me tell you this was not one of the misses… they hit me in the mouth with flavor and service. We ordered orange flavored chicken, honey walnut prawns, BBQ pork fried rice and the beef and spicy garlic sauce. Every thing was perfectly cooked, all the meat was melt in your mouth tender… and best of all the staff was attentive to our every need. I will definitely be back over and over again!
