Waffle Cone Shop

My summertime deal with! Awesome Haus has got the best most tasty tastes. I initially identified at SXSW 2012 and also have been dealing with myself personally since!

The ice cream was yummy, but when you are called the Waffle cone ice cream shop I would expect a fresh waffle cone. Overall it was good ice cream.

My go to spot whenever I’m at Pier 39. Nothing really special but I love waffle cones and Dreyers ice cream is yummy.

Pro’s: The employees are nice enough, its centrally located on pier 39, The waffle cones are fresh and sweet.
Con’s: It’s very expensive for the quality, selection is lackluster and the ice cream tastes like store bought.
Everything is expensive on Pier 39. That being said, I’m not going to validate a place charging $ 6 for a scoop of medium quality ice cream. If you want a quick and easy cone, it’s not bad. If you can stand walking off the Pier for ice cream I suggest you do.

So touristy, but what do you expect from a place smack dab in the middle of Pier 39?
My sister wanted a snack so she got a cone with their chocolate brownie ice cream. My parents got a bottle of Diet Coke. A bit pricey, but that’s to be expected in this area.
Definitely busy, but the employees are used to it, as they work quite efficiently!

The waffle cones are delicious and the ice cream is awesome. You get a nice portion for under five bucks. What more can you ask?

totally a set up~~i live in NY, one of my friend live in SF, he send me the link and i saw the video, i been there last year and they are not being prejudice, just becuz of lack of communication, they are suing for money ! chinese people go through discrimination too but do they ever complain or sue ???

You know why I give this 5 stars? Maybe it’s because it’s located in the middle of the lovely pier, or maybe because it beckons to me whenever I am near… whatever the reasons, I cannot think to give this place any less than 5 shiny stars.
If you’re one of those people who cannot –er-«appreciate» the smell of the bay’s water when guiding through the many tourist traps/​shops along the pier, the aroma of fresh-​pressed waffle cones strike one as especially heavenly.
Of their lip-​smacking assortment of flavors, I can only recommend one, Double fudge brownie. It’s the one with brownies in the ice cream, you can’t miss it. Although it is the only flavor I’ve ever tried at this wonderful establishment, I can’t say I regret never allowing another flavor to meet my tongue as a kid or as an adult.
For me, it’s not simply the act of getting ice cream at the waffle cone shop (next to the donut place), but of producing ever-​lasting sweet memories to which stand out in my mind to this day (even if I lived them 10 years ago)…ice cream in hand, licking and biting away at my ice cream on those warm yet breezy days along the pier, happy as can be. I encourage all to try it!

WARNING: This shop has that kind of magnetic smell that’ll drag your arse right in front of the register. You know what i’m talking about, right? That warm waffle cone kind of irresistible smell?
Well, when i am full PMS, there’s no way i can just walk by without stopping. It seems like the chocolate dipped cones are smiling at me, the pots of different colorful topping are calling my name and the so tasty looking mountains of ice creams are just flirting with me. So what a girl suppose to do in this sugar craving, low confidence, feeling alone period?
Indulge.
Yep, that’s the solution to feeling amazing. Even if the yummily decorated deliciousness ends up costing $ 8 and packs 2468 calories. Actually, the real solution against PMS would be to have my lover buying it for me, and having that same lover ready to take on all complaints about me feeling fat, ugly and guilty.
SO worth it.
