This a whole new spin on Fro-Yo; one flavor(tart) and you pick a sauce for them to put on it and then do the whole topping thing. I liked the yogurt flavor, but I don’t like the topping situation. I prefer a 50 – 50 yogurt to topping ratio. Here they have a shallow cup that the yogurt towers over leaving little room for toppings. Also, I would have liked more topping selections. If you are a big tart fan, this is your jam.

The gelato was super, super good. Worth the calories. I didn’t care too much for the girl working the register today. She was almost bothered when you asked her a question. It’s a shame too cos this place is yummy.

I’m stoked that there’s a tasty, low-guilt treat by my work! The froyo here is creamy and sweet, not too tart, and the topping selection is great, too.

Best frozen yogurt? Mm, not so much. Clear Optometry in San Mateo has the best frozen yogurt in my opinion. Anyways, I came here with my boyfriend on a weekday. The place reeked of lysol because the employee was in the back cleaning the floors. I wonder if she washed her hands? I don’t know. They only have one flavor, but many toppings to choose from. The smalls are pretty pricy at $ 3.50 a pop plus an extra $.75 for another topping(usually a couple pieces of fruit) The yogurt was good, but not the best. It was nice a creamy, but lacked that subtle tart flavor. The cups are fancy and overall, it’s a nice, clean store with open windows for a hot day. If I’m ever craving frozen yogurt when I’m in this area, I’ll probably have to drive somewhere else because $ 5.00 for a tiny cup of frozen yogurt just won’t do.

Happy that this joint is so close to North Beach. It’s the best with strawberries!

What? Only one previous review? Is this place new or something? This is my favorite froyo place out of all others I tried: Pinkberry, Red Mango, Sweet Ending, etc. etc. Yogorino has pretty much dominated the Philly froyo scene. This is not your typical froyo: it is not as tart, the consistency is creamier(more milky), and tastes a bit sweeter. Since the yogurt isn’t as tart, the sauces are a perfect complement. I always get the small with Pistachio sauce and strawberries. The sauces that they have change daily, and the toppings are typical of those you see at other froyo places, but probably not as many kinds. It doesn’t matter because the froyo itself is awesome. The place isn’t that busy even though it is in a touristy area, so stop by!(And get yourself a punch card since there are 3 locations in SF.) BTW, the cute blue cups are biodegradable.
