Traditional chinese hot food market. Great prices, yummy food, brisk customer service. They also feature hot plate food such as rice, noodles, soy sauce chicken, tofu, vegetables, etc. lots of veg and meat options, perfect. For something quick to eat, you can grab a hot 2 item meal for $ 5.50, yummy. A good eatz place.

Came here after school feeling hungry and was just craving rice. I got a the lunch special of $ 4.85 of rice/noodle with two items. I got white rice with sweet and sour pork and tofu. The food was alright because the taste was a little too much for me like the sweet and sour sauce tasted different than what I’ve had in the past from other places but the deal was worth it. I finished off the food and service is whatever, they’re pretty nice I guess. They have indoor seating which is nice compared to Chinatown’s bbq places. I’ll come back here and there whenever I’m on clement and sixth ave.

Is it the norm to come in & just yell out an order w/o considering there’s a line before you? Neither the C-lady who took the order or the one who yell out the order didn’t even bat an eye of consideration. Now if it was an elderly lady or a parent w/kid(s) rushing to get their food home. «OKUSA». But this lady mid 30’s maybe 40’s in office attire looks like she should be brought up w/some manners? Or was she sleeping or busy digging both of her buggered filled nostrils in classroom for Manners 101? Everyone’s faces in the line were just at awe, so I knew I wasn’t the only one. The fact that the cashier lady completed her $ 4.00 order reaffirm the madness. I don’t care even if you’re Mrs. Obama or Mrs. Bush. Well maybe yes, but you get my point. As I paid & quickly left, I could hear arguing voices echoing from the others in the line. The BBQ pork that I ordered, I couldn’t even tell you whether it was good or bad. Sometimes it does take one bad apple.

Our family get majority of our bbq meats on clement so I highly recommend this place. Lunch specials are reasonable priced 4.85 for two items and well portioned for all those big eaters.

Whoa, is this the best $ 5 lunch in SF?! Lots of veggies and meat to choose from. A little greasy, yes, but for 5 bucks you can’t be too picky. Not too friendly owner/workers either, but once again for 5 bucks I guess you just gotta suck it up!

Who says you can’t get a $ 5– lunch in San Francisco, Okay to be honest I find the food here to be very hit, and miss but that’s probably because the food is prepared in a manner that is so drastically foreign to my East Coast Italian background, That said I can normally find something that is not swimming in sauce that resembles the Chinese Food that I am accustomed to, today of course had not been one of those days, Got the Chicken & Organ Meats today, yea I had no idea those were Organ Meats that I had pointed at, and though the Chicken was edible I could only eat a tiny portion of the other varied meats that made it into my container. My suggestion, would be if you don’t have a good idea of what your getting, then don’t get it. I will come back, but needing to remember that this is not the place to explore exotic choices :)

Stay away from this place if u don’t wanna sit on toilet for a whole day. I know it’s a cheap joint but it is just cheap. First time walked in because of curiosity. Never again.

The best BBQ I can find in this area. Price is reasonable. I can’t believe my ears when I hear the price.

Decided to try this spot since I was in the neighborhood working. Saw a line forming outside and said to myself it must be good. They have a lot of food for lunch and just starting at $ 4.85 for rice and two items. They are very generous with the servings. They serve different noodles, curry chicken, mushroom chicken, teriyaki chicken, tofu, soy sauce chicken and a variety of vegetables. I got the tofu, broccoli and soy chicken. The food here is very well seasoned and not salty at all — the sauces have a savory sweetness to it, sugar maybe? The broccolli was fresh and cooked just right. The chicken fell off the bone and for a second I thought I was eating duck. Very good. I only ate half of my food and saved the rest for the next day. This place is worth it and worth a try. Very good chinese food to go.

a good place to get some decent Chinese take out, I like the sticky rice with the salty duck egg, pork and lots of peanuts, wrapped in bamboo leaf, they are made the right way here! the food is authentic Cantonese hot deli food, very convenient with reasonable prices

This place was the best looking chinese food on the block. We even came before closing and the food didn’t look like it had been laying out all day. It is about $ 8 for a box of food-fried rice/noodle +2 items. I had the fried rice, fried chicken and fried pork. All were greasy goodness. My bf pretty much ordered the same but ordered the noodle. Honestly the noodle was much better even though I love fried rice. You can also buy it by the box which i feel is cheaper. THey give a lot of food so i suggest sharing with someone. DId i mention as much self serve hot tea as you want?!! perfect for the chilly weather.

The food is decent. Lots of salt or msg. We went there to get some food and my sister is very cautious so she keeps an eye on the lady who serves us the food. As the lady was weighing the food… She added the weight of the container as well as some other weight. When we asked her for the receipt. She took our food back and gave us a different receipt. The worker told us that she has been doing this to so many people already so be aware. Check everything before buying it otherwise you are paying extra! They purposely charges you the weight of the container and watch out for her finger because that could be pressing on the weight as well. She knew she was wrong so she offered to subtract 6 cents but thats not enough for five containers. BEAWARE

Skin and bones. Great sound: Not so great taste: Skin and bones in the BBQ soy sauce chicken. Be sure to remove them for something healthier and more edible. $ 4 is a great deal for a box full of poultry. Just not that much left after removing all the above. Low cost. Low reward. Average stars.

Their fried chicken drum stick was probably the best fried chicken I’ve tasted in my whole life(caveat is I’ve been living in Texas my whole life and I’ve only gotten my fried chicken from Church’s, Popeye’s, and, occasionally, some fancy American restaurant.) Last time I had chow mai fun was when I was a kid and Wing Lee’s is pretty good. I really enjoy the wok hay flavor from the onion, etc. Not too much veggies or meet with my chow mai fun but I love, love, love carbs and didn’t care. Wasn’t wet or too dry(though, I do enjoy my noodles on the drier side.) Definitely coming back.(They did laugh at me b/c I initially asked for ONE chicken wing and replied with, «we don’t sell just one chicken wing.» Got it. Rookie mistake.)

Roast duck is fabulous. We got it for dinner 6 ours later. I thought before tasting it that it was a little too fatty and the skin not crisp enough. I was totally wrong. The skin crisps up well. It reheats very well. The meat is very moist. Some places the meat gets dried out while crimping the skin. This is a real treat. I’m glad I live in The East Bay because otherwise I’d have this every week.

Food wise i give this place 5 stars. I mostly get their dim sum, everything has been very tasty. The thing i really love about this place is how fast and cheap it is. I love being able to walk in there with $ 5 and be out in 2 minutes with way more food than i need. I’ve eaten there but it’s more of a grab and go type place. It’s cash only, and you better know what you want, the ordering is a little soup nazi-ish.
