Awesome, love this yogurt shop. Sad that they closed down the one in stonestown but my favorite is the pomegranate and great customer service. Workers are really nice and friendly.

Went there with a friend yesterday. The flavor choices were so-so, but the guy behind the counter was a complete jerk. Wanted one of the flavors that was out, and he just said he’d take care of it later. There are plenty of yogurt places in the city, so if you want any kind of customer service, avoid this place.

I love this place. Every topping you could want, and it is self-serve. So easy and fun to meet a friend for a quick fro-yo or walking by. Nice staff. No complaints! :)

Terrible frozen yogurt with a tasteless gritty texture and cheap stale toppings. Go to Fraiche down the street.

I’ll explore the neighborhood… well until I find a froyo shop. Then exploring is over. Yes, I was on a self-serve froyo hunt — a surprisingly difficult task around here in SF. While filled with almost everything else, SF lacks the froyo to froyo, choices galore that the rest of the South Bay/Bay Area is known for. I run into Yoppi Yogurt… It is kind of an okay fineeeee, this will do feeling. Here’s why: Flavors: +1 for flavors changing weekly +1 for voting for the next week’s flavors –1 not that many flavors and machines –1 some flavors are boring and not that tasty +1 caramel flavor was a fave! Strong caramel flavor and smooth yogurt Toppings: +1 for cereal galore(cinnamon toast crunch, choco toast crunch, reese’s puffs, cookie crisps… some of the most extensive cereal choices I’ve seen) +1 lots of toppings, organic brownies(not that good, but organic), Reeses’s pieces, Reeses, fruit, marshmallows. Interestingly, the toppings are also dispensed differently with some coming from the twist dispensers and others using spoons. Sample cups: +1 for sample cups at the front, all you can sample… holla! It’s self-serve and froyo… it’ll do! Not the best and not the worst, but if Menchie’s wants to open nearby, I wouldn’t be opposed.

Tangy flavors rotate weekly based upon consumer request with the usual basic flavors. The real gem are all the toppings– two walls of toppings: crunchy, sour, drizzled, gummy, sweet, fresh, and bitter. So many to choose from I often find my bowl is full of toppings!

Update — over two years later, windows are still disgusting. Not a good sign. Where is the Yoppi franchise manager?

Employees with nothing to do but sit and cuss, flies with free reign over the fresh fruit, yogurt dripping onto the floor. No thanks yoppi. You’re a huge disappointment.

Finally a great Froyo place in the PacHeights neighborhood! If you like self-serviced froyo, lots of lots of lots of toppings, fresh fruits and chocolate, and all kinds of froyo flavors — and who doesn’t — then come here. Every flavor I’ve had so far was just about right — rich and creamy, not watery, and flavorful. Froyo like it needs to be. Personally, I usually go for the Natural Tart which had just the right amount of sourness. I mean, you could really taste the natural flavor and you weren’t lured into thinking you’re eating iced water. My favorite Froyo place in the hood.

Really, what not to love about this place? The yogurt was rich and creamy. Toppings were fresh and delicious. I loved the Voting Board idea, it shows that they really care about what the customer wants. The candy tubes make me feel like I was in the candy store! :D Loving this place!

What’s not to love? There are endless free samples, my friend. Endless. Well, maybe not endless. I haven’t tested that theory yet and I don’t know if they would appreciate my trying to do so. Due to a serious lack of ice cream establishments in Pacific Heights, I am happy to report that I am able to satiate my frozen-cravings with Yoppi’s frozen yogurt. The prices are reasonable and I say that after having a toddler-like indecisiveness when it comes to toppings. I tend to pile them on(think: toppings with a side of frozen yogurt) and am always pleasantly surprised when my bill is around $ 3 – 4 and not $ 11… Thank you for supporting my gluttony, Yoppi. The topping selection is also spot-on. Sprinkles? Check. Various cereals? Check. Chocolate chips? Check. Fruit? Check, but who wants that when there are gummy bears? I mean, really. Cookie Dough & Cheesecake Bites? Double check. I miss those chocolate shavings, though. Yoppi, you’ll get one more star, if you bring back the chocolate shavings. Pretty please with a cherry on top? Oh, yeah. They have cherries, too. Don’t worry.

Nothing special for a yogurt place. They don’t have that many flavors(only 8 I believe if they are all working) which is bad compared to places with 16 flavors. They do have the normal amount of toppings, but sometimes when I go they are out of the toppings I want. I would ask the worker to make sure, but they will say there is none in the back.

Yogurt was fine but nothing spectacular. Considering you’d have to schlep to the next froyo joint in the area, this will probably do the trick. I was surprised though, by the lack of fresh fruit at this location. Maybe it was because it was 6 or 7pm on a Sunday evening?! Usually I like to smother my froyo in fresh fruit and shaved almonds, but there wasn’t much fruit and they didn’t have almonds. I must say for my hubby, he likes the variety of flavors to choose from… he doesn’t particularly like the«healthy» original or «tart» flavors so if you’re like him, you can find more ice creamy flavors here. Overall, it was a-ok but I’ve definitely had better in the city.

I’ve been a frequent customer at this specific location, and I must say, it’s one of my favorite frozen yogurt places. It’s such a cute, petite place that gives you a comfortable vibe. I enjoy sitting by the window or even outside during the sunnier days. The workers are nice, and I love eating their yogurt especially the yellow cake batter and vanilla. They may not change their flavors much, but why should they? Those are the most popular flavors that shouldn’t even be changed. At least they change it once in the blue moon. i mean that’s how they lure in their customers, right? Can’t always satisfy everyone’s needs, just sayin’. Also, love their variety of toppings. I can never choose since there’s so many choices. It takes me forever to decide. This is definitely a place to go when you’re around the neighborhood. A quick and fun experience if you’re craving for some sweets. :) Love this place.

I only came here because Fraiche was closed for renovation and I was craving froyo, but now I’m really sad that I ate it. Waste of calories. Their froyo flavors are too sweet, fruit isn’t fresh, and service sucks. The guy at the counter apparently doesn’t like smiling, but really likes rap/hip hop. I never thought I would walk into a froyo place playing rap music.

This is like the only decent self serve fro yo place in the financial district. Staff is friendly and I come here on a weekly basis.

Yoppi Yogurt can be considered Fraiche’s less natural fro-yo cousin on Fillmore. I bounce between both Yoppi and Fraiche depending on my mood. PROS: 1) Self-serve, duh. Want to be healthy with berries add-ons AND be naughty with oreos? GOFORIT. 2) Free samples! The little sample cups are at the front next to the cashier, so taste away before you make your decision. 3) Large variety of toppings: Fruit(strawberries, blueberries, bananas, kiwi, etc.), at least 5 – 7 cereals, granola, shaved almonds, brownies, you name it. 4) Friendly staff CONS: 1) Always filthy. Tables are rarely wiped and sticky from the last person sitting there. 2) This may just be me, but it seems like the yogurt is never frozen enough. By the time I go to sit down after paying for my fro-yo, my dessert is always half-way melted. And mind you, I don’t take 10 minutes to get my toppings together(less than 5 minutes, actually). 3) They don’t refill toppings as regularly as they should. Every time I go to Yoppi, there’s at least 3 – 4 containers empty and who knows what toppings used to be there. **Note: The last 3 times I’ve been there in 3 weeks, their machine serving the signature tart flavor has been broken. :(

Yoppi is fast becoming one of my favorite froyo places, they do an amazing job with simple flavors like their Signature Tart and Chocolate. The tart is so delicious with strawberries and the(strange) lychee poppers. The only flavor I was on the fence about was the mango, it was too melty; I think Orange Tree does a much better job. Note: 49 cents /ounce.(You can get it for 45 cents /ounce at Westfield Downtown)

The newest fro-yo shop is located on the busy streets on Fillmore Street. It’s a tiny shop with limited seating.(Unless you want to sit and chat with the moms rollin’ with their kids in there modified strollers.) It’s a self-serve place with six different weekly flavors at a whooping $.45 an ounce. And sample cups are easy access without the inconvenience of asking the clerk for one. And the new shop is closer to my crib. I dig. Even with the six flavors, I didn’t catch all the flavors, because I was in a rush. So I got the popular French Vanilla with a nice amount of crunchy granola and a few M & Ms. I wanted to get some fresh fruits, but the selections were thin because of the cold weather. The fro-yo was sweet and creamy. But even with the cold recent weather, the treat melted way too quickly.(Maybe I’m «HOT»! You think?) My treat came close to $ 6.00 and my Visa was accepted. I’ll be here again, since it’s close to my crib!
