It’s very clean and the décor has a flavor of china. You can choose to have it done on the big lobby-y open room, if that is uncomfortable for you, they also have individual rooms in the back. It’s $ 15 an hour for foot massage, which I must say they spend a good portion of that time massaging shoulder and back. Or $ 25 for full body massage, yes, you are not mistaken, it’s $ 15 or $ 25 for full 60 minutes of hard work. I normally tip 5 – 10 depending on how tight my back is. If I was really iron woman tense and require extra pressure, I tip a bit more. They also open til mid night, which give the dinner amp time to be digested before coming here. Over all experience is good and consistent.

I ordered the 60 minute body and foot massage for $ 15. From the start you dip your feet into hot scented water while the masseuse works on your shoulders, back, and arms. This part was satisfying. in fact the best part of the service to me. The next part is the foot massage which kind of ruined the experience for me. First of all, they spent 75% of the time rubbing down my legs as opposed to my foot. Secondly, it felt like there was A LOT of friction when they were rubbing my legs. I feared for my leg hairs. Finally, after it was over, I expected water and a towel so I could wash my legs of all the oil and lotion they used. Unfortunately, they had none. If I were to come back I’d try the 60 minutes body massage(no foot massage). note #1: be prepared to pay the *mandatory* $ 5 in tips note #2: there is a $ 1040 minute foot massage advertised outside. However they will ask or assume that you will be going for the 60 minute massage for $ 15. If you are going for the $ 10 one, be sure to specifically ask for the $ 10 one. note #3: the chairs are situated in rows of 3, so consider that fact when you come with friends

There is a guy there with glasses middle age, about 5’9″? and sharp fingernails. Gives crappy massage while looking at the television and does a half ass job. When he is done he demands a 25−50% tip on top of the $ 20/hr foot massage. More than other foot massage places which charges you $ 15/hr. My advice is to go some place else. Not worth your money.

2008 is the year of the foot massage revolution in Los Angeles. I have been searching up and down Valley Blvd. for the best $ 15 foot massage and I think I have found a great contender. Located in the mega mall of San Gabriel Square aka Focus 99 Ranch Plaza aka Fob Central hidden near the 2nd floor right hand side(next to some weight lost center called Jen Bjuti… is that a word?) lies a nice little foot massage parlor that is not shady. Why I nominate this place to be top dawg– 1. Most of them speak or attempt to speak Engrish to you. 2. Mini LCD/Plasma TVs on each row of recliners 3. Free hot tea made with auspicious Chinese flowers and goji berries(good for skin and eyes) 4. The inviting smell of taro/vanilla when you go inside 5. They do crazy tai chi like moves to your back and shoulders if needed. I know– Asian owned massage joints have a dirty slutty hooker reputation of having happy endings at the end and you have to get naked even if its just a finger massage, but this place is honestly legit. I love the fact that they listen to what you request(for example the other night my shoulder was killing me and my lady(she had a mole on her lip that looked like a chocolate chip) said relax– nooo probrem. I fix. And it was like she was a miracle worker. A few bend and snaps and elbowing and crazy yoga/tai chi moves on me and I felt like a refreshed man. Again –lets review– For $ 15 you get…(if you think about it– its absurd. $ 15 is like 0.5 gallons of gas in LA) –foot soak –shoulder rub –upper back rub –head rub w/pressure points –neck rub –phalange cracks(hands and foot) –gonad and pancreas rub(via the pressure points on your foot) –calf rub –thy rub(but not inappropriately) –nice personal TVs –goji berry and flower leaves tea You can tell them stronger if you are into that crazy pain and you really want to feel it in your pancreas and kidneys or you can tell them to be gentle if you bruise easily and if you are a delicate tender peach.
