Jack in The Box

Just passing through, on our way back up north. Kids needed to eat breakfast so we stopped here. JIB food was consistent, but it was the service from Jill that motivated me to write this review. Her service is one you would expect to find in a four star restaurant. She was full of energy, but not obnoxious. She was friendly and delivered our food with a smile. Although she forgot to give us a water cup, she owned up to it, apologized and again… delivered it with a smile. I like her and I hope the owner realizes Jill’s a gem!

As a true foodie I can’t give fast food places a 5-​star rating but this place is trying really hard! I cannot believe how amazing our experience was from start to finish!
First off the restaurant is so clean inside and completely remodeled! It’s the nicest JITB I have ever seen! When we came in we were immediately greeted by the cashier and welcomed! That was great!
We haven’t been to JITB for a while so we asked for suggestions and she ran down some of the new popular items as well as some of her personal faves! I think her name was Brittney (sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was outstanding! Very nice and patient while we picked through the menu!
Our food was fresh and yummy! It’s of course cheap fast food, but it was presented on trays and brought out to our table! However I will say that they have much better buns than they used to and there was care put in to the presentation of the food!
We complimented the cashier on our way out and made sure to let them know what a great job they are doing! I’m sure they don’t get that much, as people never seem to let you know when you’re doing something right… only when you screw up and they try to tear you down! Keep up the good work ladies!

Ordered the new bacon taco and a regular taco to go. I went inside because ordering at the drive-​thru usually gets you left overs. The servers are surly and none too clean and act like they are doing you a big favor just to wait on you. My granddaughter ordered the breakfast sandwich which was hot and o.k. but the tacos were both inedible. When I got home (just three blocks away) the tacos were cold and the tortillas were hard as rocks; couldn’t even bite through them or break off a piece. They must have been sitting under the heat lamp for several days! When I called and talked to the «manager» she offered to give me fresh ones «free». Kind of hard to do since I had already paid for stuff I couldn’t eat. She gave me a validation code and said I could come in any time to get a replacement but I think I will pass this offer up. Their food is just inedible and the service nonexistent. Pretty much the same at most Hemet fast food places. Can not imagine how most of them rate a passable grade with the county inspectors.

This is my GoTo place since i get off work at midnight and need to make a foodie call. Plus they’re basically around the corner from where i live.
I’ve never had a problem with their service. The food is fresh, especially the fries. I guess it’s because i usually roll in there at around 1230am so they have to cook up new fries. :-) They know what dipping sauce and soda i want with my nuggets combo before i can say it. I guess that means i go there way too often… haha.
I have no complaints whatsoever about this JITB. I’m a very satisifed customer.
Now the one at Village West shopping center off Florida and Sanderson… they’re horrible. But that’s another review for another time.

When this location first opened they were super friendly and the food was good considering it’s fast food. After a while I noticed that the friendliness had gone down drastically with some of the employees. Seeing as how this is closest to my home this is our go to location. I won’t mention names and later I will tell you why but one of the female employees lack in customer service skills and needs to not work here or anywhere where she may encounter customers. She hurried us through the drive through trying to end us after each item we ordered which was four meals cause there were four people. Instead of asking if there would be anything more, before my husband could even have a chance to speak she just kept trying to give us a total. We said after ever meal «wait we have more to order» it made us feel as though we were bothering her. Then we get to the window and what an attitude problem wouldn’t smile, didn’t greet us, nothing. When I went to ask if she was sure that the sauces were in the bag she argued with me about giving me more. It is the worst to get all the way home and not have what you’ve asked for so I wanted to be sure.
So I said I would say why I won’t use her name and the reason is because I called and complained of our service which I never do ever, but when we got home and our food was cold and disgusting I had enough. Someone called me back from that location the very next day. It was the site manager and she told me she would handle it right away.
This was only one of our bad visits with this particular girl helping us, this had happened a few times and I thought maybe she’s having a bad day or maybe she got yelled at or something. I had no hope that this girl would all the sudden become a great customer service employee but I did see a change the next time I went. We were not rushed while ordering and this girl try’s to smile and be nicer. I can tell its forced but I am happy that they have tried to help this girl to be a better employee.
They get three stars because I have to deal with their employee so my experience has not been a good one but their ability to take care and handle problems for customers is nice.

This jack in the box is pretty ridiculous when it comes to time management. I’m tired of sitting in the fast food line for over 15 to 20 minutes. It is rediculous. They need to hire people that can actually do their minimum wage job because obviously the people here can

This Jack always gives me a headache. ALWAYS. I always order my food, tell them how I want it, and then they park me. ALWAYS PARK ME. I understand when the line is huge, but when there’s nobody behind me, and I’m parked for 15 minutes and k oh goes through the drive thru why do you have to park me? So annoying and unnecessary.
My orders are always wrong, and they always forget something. They always say ‘I checked it everything’s in there’ I give it a quick look and it seems like it’s all there and it’s not. Such a hassle.
My food is always cold. So much for ‘we don’t make it till you order it’ the only thing that’s warm is my fries. If that sometimes. My mom loves the tacos from jack. Not anymore. The tacos are always old, the lettuce is brown, and it’s gross.
It’s sad, this jack is down the street from my house and I have to go to a different one just so my food can be decent and have my whole order together. Won’t be heading to this jack ever again.

There arent very many options in this side of San Jacinto so I find myself coming here often. With that said its always clean. bathrooms too! Servers are always freindly and MOST important is I can get breakfast here any time of day :)
I recommend the sausage egg and cheese biscuit combo with a side of mini pancakes and the coffee is always fresh.

This has to be again the worst jack in the box in town. This time I remembered to take a picture of there on going mistakes. I ordered the new inside out bacon burger go home to find out its a chicken sandwich with bacon… Not only was it the wrong thing it was also cold. Never going back telling friends as well. Corporate needs to pay this store a visit!

You can’t expect much from fast food, but what kind of crazy jack is this? My recent visit started like any other, but things went a little weird after ordering. First when they took my order and I went to pay with my credit card they said there was a fee if I use it as a debit card. I told them «use it as a credit card then». Apparently the manager couldn’t figure out how to push the button so she asked for my pin I said just use it as a credit card. She finally figured it out but then she said it charged me anyway WTF. Then when my food came out (I had ordered curly fries) there was essentially three curly fries and a bunch of curly scraps. They have me fresh fries and apologized but I was surprised they let those fries come out like that. The rest is so so.

Drive thru…3 cars ahead of us and it took 15 minutes. That didn’t bother me, maybe they had some huge orders in front of me. If every once in awhile it takes a little longer I could care less. However, when we finally get to the window, they tell me the amount and I am holding my money out the window waiting for her even to look up, after she just told me the amount without making any eye contact. Next, I asked for pickles on my sandwich, they forgot and realized their mistake and tell me they just tossed some pickles in a bag for me.

I am all for their cheesecake and their 99 cent tacos plus this Jack in the Box is right by house. The service is always so friendly and fast which is a big plus for me,

Drive thru takes too long… The new stack is awesome love those sliced pickles.

Not a huge fan of jack anymore! I think it’s just Hemet quality of food is well poor at best! This jack is pretty quick & staff is always friendly!

Went to this jack in the box the drive thru was blocked by a trash truck then I walked in and gave them my Jack cash card and they couldn’t accept it they said the system was down. Needlessly I walked out with nothing. I won’t be going back there

All the useless people seem to go to work at this jack in the box. Every time I go there something goes wrong.
Before today my last visit was July 4^th 2010 when for the third time they did not put meat in a hamburger, I called the store and was promised that my complete order, about $ 20, would be replaced. When I went back they would only replace one hamburger, so besides stupid they are liars. The manager was not helpful, but the customer service from corporate that called me back a few days later was even less helpful, even told me that I had they no reason to be upset. That is how much care that they left people hungry.
Today I deiced to give them a try again, when I got home instead of chicken nuggets that I ordered for my kids found jalapeño peppers, the rest of the food was cold and lousy. That is even after I was asked to pull to the front of the store.
To anyone who buys food to go at this place I recommend they open every bag and box and make sure you have what you ordered. Today I assumed I had the chicken nuggets for my kids when I saw the box. My mistake.
I don’t know if I will ever be back at any jack the box because besides screwing up the orders they don’t take responsibility for their mistakes and they surely don’t have customer service skills but it will be a very long time.

Cleanest jack in the box I have seen. Very friendly staff. Seems like the prices are slightly higher than other jack in the boxes.

Jack in the Box food is pretty consistent everywhere you go, you pretty much always get what you expected.
What I didn’t expect to get was stellar service and the super friendly atmosphere, it kind of blew me away.
The staff was great, always friendly and helpful. I’ve been to a few JITB in my days, but this one has the best customer service, hands down.

Though the food is pretty much the same as most other Jack in the Box restaurants, I wanted to give this place 5 stars and commend them for their professionalism in service, something that you simply never see at fast food restaurants, especially in the Hemet/​San Jacinto area. Every time I eat here, they are courteous, professional and smiling. They are great at making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. This is the only Jack in the Box I will go to in town because of this. I believe they should be recognized for going above and beyond and at least stand out over the other Jack in the Box restaurants.
