This place is ridiculous. I receive my class ring 4MONTHSLATER. They steal your money. To this day I have NOT received my diploma frame I paid for. This is an absolute joke. I placed my order in March… it is now JULY. Don’t buy from this place unless you’re trying to wait 4 months for your order!

When I went to order a graduation package from them, their system showed me three choices. When I clicked on «Graduation Products» and gave it the school name and password, it took me to a screen that said«The current school selected is [school name]» and showed one package and no other choices. There were no other links to show any other options. It turned out that I needed to click on «Graduation Products» in the header again to see other options, which made no sense since I had already clicked on that to see available choices. It’s clear they are trying to steer students into a more expensive option by not showing other choices. I ordered that package because I was not yet aware of their ploy, but even that was a problem. When the order was delivered, the only thing included that were actually ordered were the cap, gown and tassel. I essentially paid $ 99 for a $ 35 package. The packing list on the label even indicated the items included so it’s not as if they forgot to put something in the package. Since others had no luck with phone support, I emailed them telling them that I didn’t receive parts of my order, am no longer interested in those items, and I gave them the amount of the refund I expected. I also mentioned that I’d dispute the credit card charge if they don’t take care of it. Instead, they sent back an email saying I should call their support number. Given that the email had all the information, including a picture of the label from the package, I saw no reason to call and speak to somebody. I would have needed to give the same information over again, but with no way of showing any documentation. It made no sense for them to not take care of it. I waited a few weeks and was about to dispute the charge, but when I got to the bank’s website, I saw a credit. It was less than what I asked for but it wasn’t worth the time to argue. If you do order on their website, I’d suggest you be careful and follow the steps I mentioned. I’d also suggest that you stick to the cap and gown since you can get a better deal on most of the other items elsewhere. Also, keep in mind that they lie about the prices. They show one part of the price, but add in another called«handling» and if you add the two together, it gives you the real price. Handling is part of the cost of doing business, and if you buy a can of peas at the supermarket somebody had to put it on the shelf and somebody else had to ring it up. It’s not as if handling charges are customary for items that aren’t delivered individually. The cost also had nothing to do with handling, since they likely pay a person that much per hour rather than that much per order. It’s simply part of what they charge you and it has nothing to do with handling. It has to do with splitting the price arbitrarily to make it look lower. They aren’t honest about anything.

My daughter’s school changed from using Jostens to Achievers for all of their school needs and I am not the least bit happy with this company!!! I ordered her senior package back in September when they were onsite. I paid for all of the items in the timely manner in which they required. In April we received an automated phone call stating that they would be onsite passing out orders, in this call they stated where and the times. My daughter came home that day with her package with its contents but the actual personalized name cards that you place in the graduation announcement. There was no note in the box and when I asked her if the school stated anything about the missing item she said nothing was told to them. I called Achievers and asked if I had forgotten to order this item or if there was an issue, the individual I spoke to stated that they did not receive the cards in time and that they would be handed out the following week. By Wednesday of the next week we did not hear anything on what day Achievers would be at the school. I called Thursday morning to ask and was told«oh, they will be in next week. We will notify the school so that they can let the students know where they can pick up the missing items.» Tuesday of the following week I called to verify that they would in fact be at the school as promised. Once again I was told«next week» and that person could not tell me why the items were not yet ready. Moving into the next week once again nothing! I called Achievers again to state how dissatisfied I was at which time I was told«oh we’ll be at the school tomorrow handing out during the student’s lunches». So four weeks later they were to finally fulfill orders after 4 weeks of excuse after excuse. Today was the day they were to be onsite. I called the school in the morning to verify where the Achievers table would be located so I could direct my daughter where to go. They confirmed the location as well as said that they were to be at the school until 1:30 which is the end of the second lunch. A few minutes after 1 o’clock I received a call from my daughter, the individual who was to be there packed up early and left. Needless to say I did call Achievers and complained. Of course the owner was not available once again. The person who answered the phone could not answer why the items were so late in coming in as well as why if we were told that they would be onsite until a specific time would they leave early knowing full well that the second lunch group would not be there until the timeframe they choose to leave. Now I have to wait until Monday when they will once again return to the school with the items that are missing from my order. This company is horrible to work with. Absolutely no customer service! You cannot rely on them to fulfill an order for a very important date in your child’s life. They simply do not care about the customer or the consequences of their lack of service. I now have partial announcements that I still cannot mail out. Four weeks after receiving my partial package nothing has been done to make this«whole»… I still have yet to hear back from the owner after my many complaints. I called the school and complained to the individual who made this change to use Achievers and told them of my dissatisfaction as well as I will be calling the school district as we should no longer provide them any of our funding for future business. I’ve spoken to several parents who are experiencing the same issues. If you are an individual who makes decisions on which companies to use for times such as these, beware, do not work with Achievers. If you are a parent on a committee at your child’s school, reconsider working with this company. This day is just too important to a parent and their student to allow such bad customer service. If my child’s school is still working with them when my other children reach their senior year I will contact Jostens directly and see if I can place an individual order with them.
