Alum Rock Hardware Windows & Doors

These guys are great. I ordered my doors through them and they came a few days later. They’re Also much friendlier than other companies I’ve dealt with!:)

We are remodeling a house built in 1927, the style comes with many angels, two doors are very uniquely required to be modified, we got quote from one door place is over $ 1,000 per door, at this place, the owner Wayne, quoted us less than $ 250 per door. After picking up the doors, we realized we provided wrong information to Wayne on one of doors, it is supposed to swing to other side. I took to Wayne, he mentioned it will be time consuming modification, trying to get it done in couple of days, so I can bring back home for painting. Wayne had it done in a timely manner, and treated me very generously. It was our fault but he made us felt so welcome, and he is very patient and professional, I am so glad we have this kind of service in the neighborhood we move in. Thank you Wayne!

Best service ever!!! Wayne is always available to answer questions, patient (even when I know I’m driving him nuts with all my questions!), knowledgeable and 110% accommodating to all our needs. I’m very picky when it came to my interior doors. I had to have solid core, pre-​hung and special knobs. Alum Rock Hardware delivered. if you are looking for quality, professionalism, competitive pricing and good old fashioned customer service, this is the place! Wayne and Alum Rock Hardware needs way more than 5 stars!!! I’ve replaced all my interior doors and will always recommend Alum Rock to all my friends and family.

So my review is based on the service I have received from this place. I called on April 29 and asked for a quote on a screen door, received a call back the next day and had the screen measured and was also given a quote and told the door would be ready in 1−2weeks. This was all done by Jerry who seems like a nice guy so I give a star for that and that only!
Received another call stating I needed to make a deposit on the door May 2^nd the deposit was made and the door was ordered. The owner Wayne calls me a week later and says the door is ready however the manufacturer forgot to put it on then truck and it would be 1 more week. Okay.
Today is May 28 and I still have no screen. Talked to Jerry this am and was told it would be done this am and now at 4:30pm I still have no screen and no phone call. I’m only about 2 miles away so I thought it would be quick and easy.
I would never recommend them to anyone I know. not if you actually want the work done.

My contractor recommended I go here and I can see why. While this place won’t have super low prices, what you get instead is expert advice and top notch service. I ordered a bi fold closet doors through them and when I received it, I noticed one panel was slightly warped. My contractor took it back and they installed new hinges, sanded it down some and primered it again for me. And now I can’t tell it was warped. Wow, perfect.

Remember the good old days when we used to have a mom-​and-​pop store on every corner. I was thinking about that today when I stopped at Alumrock hardware. The store is kind of obscure, but when you find your be amazed at this local store mill.
The awesome thing about on alum rock hardware where is the. Wayne is very helpful in helping you to to get ur special orders done. Not only is Wayne very personable, he is always a plethora of knowledge about the Doors, mantels, and door hardware his store has to offer.
If you want to reminisce about the good old days when they found exactly what you needed at the mill this is place to go. I think you will find the experience not only enlightening, but also refreshing.

If you are looking for personal service and quality recommendations/​help — this is your place. We used Alum Rock Hardware MANY times as we worked our way through a massive home remodel. Wayne was unbelievable — helpful with his suggestions, kept his commitments, reasonable with his pricing — and very accomodating when mishaps occured (which they will.).
The economy has affected this store, they have downsized (still where they were, but not the storefront — they are now around back) — but don’t let this deter you from using them … I went back in this weekend after not visiting for almost 2 years — Wayne was there with a smile on my face, remembered me, our job — and in fact, still had all of our records and was able to help me reorder something in record time.
A very refreshing place in comparison to the big box hardware stores or online retailers … definitely recommend them.

This place is not only a good hardware store, but a hidden secret in the valley is they have their own door shop in the back and if you need custom doors (as we sometimes do being in the Handyman business), they’re the best door shop we’ve found.
