Elizabeth Nguyenchan, OD

I recently went to see Dr Elizabeth for my regular eye exam. She was very thorough and super detailed. She was also incredibly patient when I was having trouble keeping my eyes open while getting the pressure checked. She discussed the results with me in detail and answered all my queries.
She’s fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone considering getting an eye exam.

My vision hasn’t been great recently so I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Nguyenchan today. She was very informative and thorough with the exam.
The last time I went to check my eyes was over five years ago and I couldn’t remember what my prescription was during that time. I brought in my glasses and Dr. Nguyenchan was able to see what it was with a machine. Luckily my prescription didn’t change that much.
Anyhow, I’ve never worn prescription contacts before so she let me sample one that’s very comfortable. She was very gentle when she put in the contact for me.
I’ll definitely recommend Dr. Nguyenchan to my friends and family.

I can’t add anything new that hasn’t already been mentioned, Dr. Liz is awesome. She’s not only highly professional and knowledgeable, she’s personable too. And when I couldn’t decide which frames to get, she took the time to help me pick one (which I’ve received a lot of compliments for). Very glad I made the change to Dr. Liz!

What a hidden gym that Target has their built in personal Optometrist! Doctor Nguyenchan whose professionalism, patience, and pronounced knowledge in the Optical Eye industry made me a very happy customer. When I recommended some friends to see Dr. Nguyenchan, they were all very happy with her superb service. In a nutshell, Target Optical gets five stars because the staff was very helpful and friendly and works with your schedule. Doctor Nguyenchan definitely made me feel comfortable and I’m happy with my new reading glasses.

Of all the optometrists that I have been to, Doctor Nguyenchan has been the most thorough and personable. Since my first appointment with Dr. Nguyenchan, she has been extremely understanding and helpful with all of my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new optometrist.

While at target, I remebered I needed a new prescriptions for my eyes. Sadly my regular optometrist’s office isn’t anywhere near where I live now. So I decided to make an appointment here. I’m definitely glad i did, the receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Calls a day before to remind you of your appointment. yah I know everyone has that, but its nice when it isn’t automated.
despite its target surrounding. I definitely didn’t feel as if I was just another customer. the atmosphere felt closer to being back at your family doctor than anything else. i think a lot of it had to do more so with how friendly and welcoming both the receptionist and the doctor were.
Dr. Nguyenchan was actually pretty good, maybe closer to great?! She is also very friendly, had a huge sense of humor, a lot of patience, and was extremely informative. she definitely knew her stuff. I had a lot of questions and she had a lot of answers.
Honestly, the location is great. its so convenient, especially if you have kids. you get to shop! and trick your kids into getting their eyes checked?! i definitely will continue to come here. so will my nieces and nephews. they just don’t know about it yet.

Dr. NguyenChan is very detail oriented and truly cares for her patients. When I got my eyes checked, she noticed that I was wearing the wrong prescription and informed me about my astigmatism. I thought it wasn’t a big deal but she encouraged me to try other options. She gave me different trial contacts so I could try which brand fits best. I am able to see much more clear than before. In the past, I’ve experienced eye doctors that just wanted to rush and just give me my contact prescription. I’m glad that I have found a permanent place to get my eye’s checked. I highly recommend this place!

Really happy with my experience with Dr. Nguyenchan. She made me feel very comfortable and was nice enough to squeeze me in last minute before I left for college. She answered all of my questions and concerns about contacts in a clear and easy to understand manner.
I’m definitely coming back to her for my next exam!

I’ve been jumping around from one optometrist to another from year to year, but I’ve finally found my optometrist with Dr. Nguyenchan. She is very personable and makes you feel comfortable with her thorough exam.

Throughout my whole life, I’ve prided myself for being the only one in my family with ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision. Yeah, I can’t say that anymore. It recently came to my attention that the street signs have gotten a little bit blurrier for me (ugh!), aaaaand maybe I should go to get my eyes checked before I get into trouble on the streets.
I decided to visit Dr. Nguyenchan for my first pair of glasses, especially because I’m a habitual Target shopper, and since I’m there, I might as well. Although my knowledge in eye care was reasonably limited, she was very helpful and informative when it came to finding my first pair – answering all of my questions, even suggesting to take a photo with each set of frames I liked since they all started looking the same after a while. Her team is especially friendly and knowledgable, and thanks to them, I can see!
Will be coming back here for future check ups. I definitely recommend her services!

Let me tell you this… it wasn’t easy to get me out of Unilocal review retirement. Having two little ones has eliminated any free time to write a review. So you know Dr. Nguyenchan is legit if I’m coming out of retirement just to review her!
Dr. Nguyenchan has perfected the balance of being a knowledgeable optometrist and yet friendly and approachable. I like to joke around with my doctors and she joked along right with me. She was patient with me when I tried to decide if one was clearer than two… one or two… one or two.
Her office is tricked out with the newest equipment and has that clean minimalist décor sprinkled with pictures of her frenchie.
Extra brownie points for being in Target. I mean come on… Target!

Ill be going back to Dr. Nguyen for all of my eye care needs! I had problems with my contacts and glasses for the longest time, but Dr. Nguyen was able to help me. She was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of the questions I had. I totally recommend her.

Doctor Nguyenchan is very personable and informative. Tran is so helpful and friendly. The office hours at great, doctor is in everyday except Thursday. Weekend appointments was a major plus for me! Not to mention they are located inside my all time favorite Target. You can use your redcard on glasses and contacts! Woo! I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally be seen, but I’m so glad I did. I am no longer going to wholesale store I was going to. The prices here at Target Optical are hard to beat!

I am extremely pleased and glad I went to Dr. Nguyenchan upon a friend’s recommendation to get my eyes checked. She is very professional, and definitely cares for her patients and enjoys her profession. My visit was not just an in-​and-​out experience. She made my visit feel very friendly and easy to ask questions, and takes the time to explain. She answered my questions in simple to understand responses, which was great. The best and most important part is when I actually received my glasses, the prescription was definitely right on. Previous glasses I can see things clearly, but I had always feel weird and heavy on my eyes in the beginning as well as getting a small headache after a long time wearing. But these glasses do not make my eyes tired out at all. I feel great wearing it, everything is clear and crisp. I definitely recommend Dr. Nguyenchan for your eye checkups.

Nothing is more convenient than having an optometrist at the place you go to buy nothing and actually buy everything! But it’s more than convenience, it’s perfection because in between stockpiling your cart, you will also be receiving one of the best eye exams you could ever imagine.
The office and eye exam room are clean and well decorated (her Frenchie mascot alone is worth going in the office). I made my appointment a couple days before and Dr. Nguyenchan was very prompt day of. The very intelligent, not to mention lovely, Dr. Nguyenchan not only gives you an exceptional eye exam, but she walks you through what she is doing and why she is doing it. She’ll give you her honest opinion along with other options you would possibly hear by other optometrists just so you could be certain that she is giving you every bit of information possible to make the best choice for yourself. She is open to any questions and won’t let you leave empty handed if you decide you want to venture out from your previous choice of contacts and try different brands.

It was time for me to get contact lenses & since I don’t have insurance I was on a hunt for an affordable place! I’m so happy I found Dr. Nguyenchan! She was very nice to speak to and was extremely helpful with any of my concerns. I did not feel rush at all even when I gave some concerns about my vision after the contact fitting. The whole exam was very thorough. I ended up buying a whole years worth of contacts & it was cheaper than Costco where I usually buy them at. Tip if you have a target red card you get 5% off of the contacts/​glasses but it doesn’t apply to the exam. They also have a lot of affordable glasses, even some high end designer brands. Thanks Dr. Nguyenchan!!!

Dr. Nguyenchan is very personable and takes her time to provide a thorough examination… always nice to have the time to address any questions or concerns without feeling like you’re being rushed out of the office. Her patience with young children and knowledge of her field is very reassuring as my entire family sees her for all our eye care needs. Passionate doctor providing superb care to her patients!
