Hello Dental

I live in SoCal now but whenever I go up to visit I go here for my dental work! I’ve been going here for years. Dr Nguyen is very patient and explains every step in detail. I hate going to the dentist but Hello Dental is my go to when it becomes necessary.

WORST DENTIST EVER! I went to her twice. The first time I went to her for a cleaning, she said that all of my premolars and molars were «at risk,» meaning that they’d likely get cavities soon. Um, ok, I think all teeth are «at risk.» She insisted that I get some fillings. Not really knowing what my options were, and assuming that the dentist knows best, I agreed. I thought she would be putting fillings on a few of them, but turns out she drilled out all of my teeth. WOWWWWW. She didn’t even tell me until after she’d drilled them out. Great, no turning back now.
The second time I went to her for a cleaning, I had a particularly sensitive tooth. She look at the tooth and said «is this the sensitive one?» and jabbed the pick into the base of the tooth. I winced and nodded. Then she jabbed it again, «this one?» Seriously, woman? Then she said, «I’m going to have to put a filling on this one.» Having experienced her giddy filling escapades, I asked her what my other options are. Then she got really offended and shouted «if you don’t want it, then fine!»
This dentist (I realize I don’t even know her name…) is also very chatty. I hate that. I told her that I’m planning to become a doctor and she had the nerve to ask if my parents pressured me into this. Um, no lady, just because your son (yes, she’ll talk to you about her son nonstop) is a failure at life, doesn’t mean that I am. When she’s cleaning your teeth, she’ll talk to her dental assistant about how horrible your teeth are, or how horrible your dental work is, or how what she did the night before doing whatever a loaded dentist does.
It’s obvious that she’s in the business for the money. My parents were the ones who introduced me to this place (they heard about her on some Vietnamese radio ad), and they were billed for random dental procedures that they never had. When my parents complained, she refused to return make the correction with the insurance company.
Come here if you want shoddy dental work!

The dentist has lots of experiences in the field. She and her staffs are so so friendly and helpful. My family and I totally trust her work because she got best skills, and more important: She always explains the procedure clearly before she begins the treatments (like what work need to be done first, what are not necessary) Unlike some other places who took advantage of us by making up some kinda unnecessary work, the dentist here gave us many advice. At the end, I made decisions by myself, so i dont feel pressured at all.
The office is so NEW, and I can tell it’s very neat and clean too. I definitely would recommend my relatives and friends to come here since I think this is the best place for my dental care.
AND not to mention, the Price is Just Reasonable !!! 30 $ for teeth cleaning!!! CAn’t behappier!!! Thank you doctor HOA :)
