Hot Dog on A Stick

I literally got so angry that they closed down! I had the hugest corn dog craving the other week and had to settle with some floppy ass $ 3.75 4 in. ‘corn dog’s from Mrs. Fields. Annnnd I’m still craving for a crispy delicious corn dog… ugh!

IT’S GONE!!! MY HEART IS BROKEN!!! I blame myself for not eating more corndogs. How am I supposed to live without you!!! :-(

It’s closed!!! No I wasn’t ready!!! It better open up somewhere else or something. I used to get lemonade from here at least 4 times a week. And right when they advertise the mozzarella sticks. I go on a 2 week trip to Mexico and I come back to it closed. This is just awful. I would give it 6 stars but I’m giving 2, just for the hopes it opens up again.

We love hot dog on a stick! Only reason for a 4 star review over 5 is because the lemonade is too expensive! Besides that we love this place! We stop in every time we visit Billy Bees! Usually I get a salad from buckhorn and steal a few bites off my son’s fresh and delicious all beef corn dog and crispy salty fries. Today I indulged and got my own dog. As the picture shows our hot dogs on a stick are fried to dark crispy perfection. I like it this way to ensure the inside isn’t gooey. We also got a large cherry lemonade instead of the usually small regular. While the cherry is delicious large is just too much. Even to share! Spent way too much IMO and didn’t even finish the whole thing in fear of the onset of diabetes! Oh yea don’t forget to download the app to get $ 2 off your purchase! They didn’t tell me before I ordered so of course I have to wait till next time, don’t make that same mistake! Also signing up for the rewards program is a must! 75 points gets $ 5 off SCORE!

This place has outstanding service, hands down. The lemonade here tastes so fresh! I stopped here around lunch time and they were sampling fries and I couldn’t resist getting my lunch there. The manager Linda was the sweetest thing! Shady, who was passing out samples was also very friendly. I will definitely be coming back on my cheat days!

Decided to try something new here while at the mall and my boyfriend suggested we eat here. Sure enough the frozen lemonade was as fantastic as what everyone else has told me in the past and the service was quick and very lovely. Also, one of the workers was an old friend I haven’t seen since elementary school so that was a nice bonus for the day. I recommend this place if you love corn dogs and affordable food

I got a beef dog on a stick and a lemonade. As always the staff was very friendly and the bright colors serve to highlight just how clean they keep everything. The hotdog was very tasty. I really like how the coding is sweet enough to go with the saltiness of the hotdog and neither flavor is overpowering.
And, of course, the lemonade is awesome.

Yum I love hot dog on a stick. I love the cheese stick. Not that much of a fan for the lemonade. Also a little pricey.

Four words: Cheese on a stick.
Choice of American or pepperjack cheese. Can’t decide? Get both (my usual go-​to order).
Delicious, cheesy, fried, warm, oeey-​goeey goodness.
It’s a bit expensive, but SO worth it. It’s basically just a fried piece of cheese on a stick. Can’t go wrong with that, fellow cheese-​lovers!

Caitlin helped me tonight, and she was such a joy! Really great customer service and very quick!
The lemonade was the perfect blend of sweet and tart, the hotdog was perfect, and the fries were just right. I worked for HDOS for 7 years and I’m happy that I can stop by another location and get the same quality food and service that I gave while I wore the stripes!

On Saturday 7÷8÷14 at 8:18pm we ordered some dogs on a stick with some Lemonade from Sabrie G. However, she explained that she had accidentally poured bleach into the Lemonade. I asked if there was bleach in all three types of Lemonade? She explained yes, that she thought it was closing time too early and poured bleach in all the Lemonade. She did sell us the dogs with the light Lemonade instead. While sitting near the restaurant, I noticed that there were 4 groups of patrons that walked away without purchasing anything as they were told the same information. I was taken back by the information that she shared and that she actually told patrons the information which was surprising. Then I thought it was unusual that she didn’t drain the Lemonade and replace it. That in fact all three types were totally full. Then I questioned if her explanation was a rouse to not have to refill the Lemonade before closing time. At 9:01 a customer asked to make a purchase and she told him they were closed and the lights were turned off. It seemed more probable that her desired to leave immediately at closing time and not having to refill the Lemonade before she was off of work was a higher priority then selling product to customers. Difficult to be profitable with actions like this.

I come here all the time and I’ve never had less than a perfect experience! The store is always spotless and the employees are quick to greet with a big smile and are very helpful. They always strike up a nice conversation and I always leave there happy! Thanks hot dog on a stick! Oh and this place is great for kids!

Been going here for a while. Best fries at Oakridge’s food court. The corn dogs and cheese sticks are very good too. I usually don’t like lemonade but this stuff is just right (I prefer the lime flavoring). The store is always clean and the staff are always friendly.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I love lemonade I would never come here again. First I’m told they don’t open until 11 o’clock I show up at 10 after 11 and there’s a note saying will be right back I’m guessing it’s Breaktime I waited 10 minutes for them to come back and then I’m told they have no sugar-​free lemonade that I would have to come back in an hour.
I guess customer service is not important to them

I don’t eat here often cause it not a healthy food but it is a good treat and the price is right. The lemonade is tooo sweet so I can make double the drink by adding water… hee hee. I love the cheese sticks and this is the only place you can get one. The fries are crispy and the employees are cute. ;-)

Grabbed ONE corn dog to go. Opened the bag and there were 14 napkins and 13 packets of mustard! Really? For ONE corn dog?!! Who does that?

c’mon… who doesn’t love a good corn dog??? and lemonade? well that just seems like a weird combo, but both are good. the lemonade is actually quite spectacular.
the dogs… so they make them to order. the downside is you have to wait, but it’s only about 3 minutes. plus is that they come out hot and fresh, not all soggy.
lemonade… fresh, fresh, fresh. delicious. ooooh so delicious.
service… it’s ok, sometimes creepy. it’s a typical mall fast food deal, with teenagers working the counter. so you might have to deal with a pile of friends hanging out for free food. i went by yesterday, and the girl had 3 – 4 friends hanging out. i just wanted to order a quick bite, but had to wait while she gave them free food and drinks, then reached across the counter to wipe something off one guy’s lip… yeah, that wasn’t awkward to watch. had other lines not been longer, i’d have moved on

I grew up on Hot Dog on a Stick. It was always a catchy brand and a tasty corn dog. They have hardly wandered from their original menu.
I was fairly young when they introduced cheese on a stick and added a new flavor to their lemonade. Since, they have added a couple more flavors to their lemonade, but otherwise the menu has stayed the same.
The corn dogs taste as good as I can remember. They still wear the outfits that made their brand recognizable.
The cool thing about this place is that it’s employee owned. If you work there, you own it. It makes me feel better about spending my money there, especially when their customer service is great.
From 30 plus years ago till today, I cannot recall an unpleasant experience at Hot Dog on a Stick. Love that place.

Still a fan of Hot Dog on a Stick but definitely not a fan of their prices. I absolutely love the fact they offer sugar free lemonade (made with Splenda). Do note their double stamp days are Mondays and Wednesdays. If you purchase a reusable cup, refills are only $ 2– which is a super deal!

I was excited to come here because I had a $ 10 groupon gift certificate. I was thinking, man I’m gonna get one of everything! However, i haven’t been here in a while and I forgot how ridiculously expensive everything is.
I got 2 hot dogs on a stick and a lemonade and that came out to $ 9.80. I was sad because I didn’t get to try the cheese on a stick or the fries. I ate my corn dogs, drank my delicious lemonade, but for some reason I felt a little hollow. The food is good, the prices are not.

Been here twice since I moved here… noticed that there was a sign for $ 1.00 corn dogs on Tuesdays!
The corn dog wasn’t bad. At first I was reluctant because I was watching my weight, but the lady told me that it actually has less than 200 calories (forget exactly how many, but i remember it being low).
