Usually I don’t have any problems with this location, but tonight was totally different. The guy behind the register needs to really pay attention to what the customer is ordering and read it back before taking payment. I didn’t think anything of it because they are usually good, but after paying and getting the receipt, I noticed my order was completely wrong. The hot dogs were the incorrect ones and the ranch I asked for to be on the side, was nowhere in the bag. I had to order another chili cheese dog (the correct one) and then ask for my missing ranch.

The overall customer service was great. The one thing that stood out the most was the speed of service.

Wienerschnitzel has german bratwurst (2.69) featured. not the usual meat. flavored with mustard and sauerkraut. tastes like a mini of the named gourmet dogs.

The tastee freez soft serve machine has been «broken» for a few months now. Today I noticed the ice cream menu and ads have all been taken down. It seems like the owner is not planning to fix it.
I put broken in quotes because they did serve us ice cream eventually, albeit extra soft and a little warm. So is the machine broken or is it off? Why would you keep the machine off during the summer? That’s peak ice cream season.
We won’t be coming here any more. There’s another franchise up the road on Meridian.
This place never gave me any sport peppers any way.

So I neglected to have breakfast that morning and brought my car in for service. Service ended up taking a little longer than I had planned, so I walked here from Capitol Subaru.
After my sodium intake for the month (one item), luckily I had to walk back to the dealer to pick the car up or else I’d have felt really really bad.
As delicious as it was, I felt my blood pressure crying to me «No! No more!»
Tasted as I’d expected, so 4 stars. And the place is huge. I’d return… in a month or so…

As pleasant as a person can be, it doesn’t make up for starting a all out War Of the World’s type scenario in my insides.
I curse you and your ability to make the parts of farm animals that no man should ingest for reasons of death, discomfort, disease, or all of the above and not in any particular order.
Corn dogs are yummy though.

Advertised hours say open until 1am… these morons were closed at 12am! Fire these idiots!

Swung in here because we were in the neighborhood and needed a quick dinner — service was fast, prices were reasonable and the food was tasty

Very good all-​around fast-​food restaurant: Delicious comfort food. Outstanding, ongoing $ 5.55 special for 5 chili dogs or 5 corn dogs (or mix & match). Bright, clean, spacious dining area. Huge parking lot. Friendly staff. Reasonably quick service.
My dining partner and I frequent this restaurant also for breakfast. There’s a sausage biscuit sandwich and a sausage burrito that are superior than at competing fast-​food joints. Breakfast is served only 1.5 hours (9:00 to 10:30 a.m.), but is worth trying out if breakfast deals at McDonald’s, Jack’s, and Burger King’s aren’t satisfying … or, for that matter, even if they are satisfying. Make your own comparison.
The bottom line: Wienerschnitzel’s food offerings are comforting and not nutritious in the least. However, what it does offer is satisfying and worth your time (and money).

Corn dogs were soggy with oil not crispy or thick. The fries were under cooked and there was so much chili it was a big mess with soggy fries. Horrible. Wont be back and not sure why they have any business other then maybe the coupons that come in the mail.

Eh. The corn dog wasn’t as great as I remembered… And my chili cheese curly fries were too salty. I used to love this place!

Not my first choice for quality fast food (is there such a thing?) but I have enjoyed some of the things on their menu here.
Their chili cheese hot dog is not one of my favorites because after the first bite it just becomes a little too much. Their chili cheese fries though is pretty good, considering the price they’re worth of course.
My favorite thing here is the dipped ice cream cone though. Those are yummy! My friend taught me to order their vanilla soft serve in a cup and then just pour some root beer in it for a quick root bear float! That was pretty tasty too.
The store is clean and the staff is friendly… but this establishment does attract some strange people sometimes and I got to witness some of them first hand.

Always fast service and our orders are always correct! The workers here are so friendly, and patient no matter how long the line is. There’s tons of seating. The only downside of this place is that it has no drive thru. Great service for a chain restaurant.

Totally takes me back to the 80’s. Not very common to see this franchise anymore so I’m glad it’s closeby. Love getting my chili cheese dog fix. Prices are reasonable and good is good. I just wish they would update the interior.

If your looking for some ice cream (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Freeze or a Sundae) then this is your spot. Typical fast food like atmosphere, staff is attentive and friendly. Car park is never that busy.
I don’t buy their hot dogs or chilli cheese fries as I am a vegetarian.

I was told that this place offers up the best chili cheese fries known to man. I know how bold that statement is, but I was willing to play along. I obviously walked up to this place (not into cause it’s a walk up sit outdoors operation) with really high expectations prepared to be let down.
Had I walked up to this place at noon on a Tuesday, maybe it’s a different experience. We were there during **Vampire hours. See explanation below

When I was 20 – 25 it was 3 – 5 a.m.
When I was 26 – 29 it was 3 – 4 a.m.
When I was 30 it was 1 – 2 a.m.
Now that I’m 35 it’s 10 – 11:30 p.m.
There is something spectacular happening during the vampire hours. Well, witht he exception of sitting outside watching meth heads speed past us on their way to… nowhere in particular. Food that would be shunned at 1 or 2 in the afternoon hits the table like a tasting at French Laundry.
That’s how this went down.
Chili cheese fries were delectable I tell ya! Chili was delicious, cheese was gooey and melting more and more with each toss of the fries n chili with my spork. Exceptional plate of food served up in a paper box.
I’ve been down this way for a meeting a few times and both times we headed for the chili cheese fries the moment the meeting ends.

I love the chili cheese fries here and thier burgers. To me this place has one of the better tasting chili cheese. Their mini corn dogs are great too. I like this location, it’s only dine in and it doesn’t look like a drive thru triangle. Even though this place is simple and cheap it is still so good.

I’m trying to start 2013 off to a healthy start, so getting all my junk in now! I was craving chili cheese fries, and remember Wienerschitzel having really good chili cheese fries when I ate it a few times down south, when it was alarmingly within walking distance to my apartment.
Found the closest one to me via my Unilocal app, and I also had local coupons sent to me which expired that day! Definite sign to go. No drive thru here and not a walk through with outdoor seating. It was a typical fast food restaurant, with surprisingly a lot of guests eating or getting food to go. Very clean inside, and the workers were all friendly and courteous. I got the only two things I’ve had here, chili cheese fries and the polish sandwich.
Took it to go, and delved in. The chili cheese fries weren’t as good as I remembered, missing that extra flavor, but appreciated them putting perfectly diced onions on top as I had requested. The polish sandwich was also really good, rye bread brings me a sense of nostalgia as my late grandpa introduced me to it. However, the bottom slice got soggy on the 5 minute ride home.
Overall a very unhealthy but quick and cheap meal.

Their 5 for $ 5 deal and their promotional Chili Cheese Tamale seemed like the perfect thing to grab during a Sunday’s rainy afternoon.
Chili Cheese Tamale, Jalapeño Poppers, Chili Cheese Dogs and Corn Dogs make for cheap and unhealthy food that will satisfy your fast food cravings. C’mon what better way to indulge in cheese, salty chili and deep fried food?
The Chili Cheese Tamale wasn’t that hot upon eating which wasn’t that satisfying, but the Jalapeño Poppers were good. Though, I have noticed the Jalapeño poppers differ in location as this location has bits of Jalapeño chopped up instead of a whole one that’s stuff.
Service isn’t particularly fast, which is ironic.
We ate our fair share of our meal and packed the rest of the food to-​go. Cheap eats, with full tummies for those nights with unhealthy cravings.

It’s a cheap, quick, delicious mess of a chili fest :)
Chilli cheese fries — yum. You eat with a fork, not with your hands! haha, I like extra cheese on mine :)
Chili cheese dogs — drown mine in chilli please and top me off with cheese! :) Sometimes I feel like when I ask for extra chilli cheese… they skimp me off some by adding a teeny tiny bit more :(
Polish sausage — for says when I don’t want chilli yet satisfy my cravings.
Corn dogs — yeah? it’s just corn dog, nothing spectacular, but when I am in a bland food kinda mood, it’s what I get and it stays down when I have to eat to stay alive.
