This had been my go to spot in the neighborhood for a while, not sure whats happened recently, the food is not the same. Before I even tasted it, just looking at it, I knew it wasn’t going to be so great. My girlfriend and I had one serving each of our 3 dishes and threw the rest away and she HATES wasting food. The mongolian beef, which I love, was 9⁄10 onions and everything was very bland. Sadly, I don’t think Ill be going back any time soon. I use to love this place, I really hope they fix it. I might even delete the number from my phone, so you know its serious.

This place used to be really good about 1 year ago I used to eat here once a week but I came in today the service SUCKS! they didn’t even once ask if we where okay or needed anything. I asked for chop sticks 2 times me never gave them to us I had to get up and ask for them. We asked for ice water we got just hot water. No ice. Then we waited 30 min to get the bill no one was around to give it to us &she didn’t even give us are cookies. If I didn’t LOVETHE eggplant with hot garlic sauce so much I would never come here.

The food was great and the first time they delivered there was a small mix up so the next time my food was free now that is standing behind your service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One star is for food and other star is for delivery. The food was dry and completely tasteless. It was plain bad especially the complimentary fried wonton. It was huge, oily and tasted like 3 days old food. The food quantity was big but the quality was so bad that it made me sick later that day. They say free delivery but still charge couple of dollars for delivery. I’ll not be ordering food here.

Just moved to this area and this was the closest place to us. I ordered quite a bit and WOW. I was really impressed. The portions are huge. Especially for the non rice/noodle items. We got rice, chow mein, chow fun, beef with vegetables, and sweet and sour chicken and everything was delicious. Value was great too. Definitely an easy, affordable way to feed a family for under $ 40 bucks. And because I purchased $ 35 bucks worth, they threw in pork fried rice for free!

I’ve always had the deliveries and the food is always great. New favorites salt & pepper fish and the walnut prawns. I walked in once and it’s not a place to sit down for dinner, but most definitely the best place for delivery. Plus they give you bonus meals or drinks based on the amount you spend. Paid $ 42, fed 4 people and had plenty of yummy leftovers for me for a couple of days :)

What I got: Beef chow fun Sweet and sour chicken combo Fried rice Egg rolls What I thought: I’ll be completely honest. At first glance on the store front, this place doesn’t look like the fanciest chinese place, but the food is definitely legit. I’ve been to a few chinese fast food spots in this area and this has got to be on top of the list! KK Chinese is down the street from where I currently live so it’s really convenient for me to grab when I’m starving and feeling some good ol’ chinese food. There’s also a panda express down the street, but for some reason I just don’t feel panda is authentic enough(I may be wrong). The beef chow fun was pretty good, but I felt like there was barely any beef put inside of it so that kind of disappointed me a bit. The sweet and sour chicken combo is usually my go-to meal. The chicken is very flavorful and drenched in the sweet and sour sauce(which I love) and is always super crispy when I get it! The combo plate also comes with a side of fried rice or chow mein and comes with 2 eggrolls as well. The fried rice is great and the eggrolls(veggie eggrolls) are always a great addition! The ladies who usually take my order are very friendly and always have my meal ready in under 15 minutes. Very fast, yummy, and satisfying.

Very Nice people but absolute worst chinese food. 0 of 2. Their menu is in English only unlike most Asian restaurant. Even panda express limited selection is better tasting Taste is even worse than creekside Chinese restaurant which is now closed. Only the complimentary fried wonton was good since this wonton is stored bought from ranch 99 I am guessing. I had to throw away most of the fried calamary and string beans dishes. A couplel of to go customers when I was there but never seen Asian customers. Good lunch kk rest.

I came here based on a recommendation from a co-worker. When you first enter the restaurant you are greeted with a blue and white beaded curtain. I assume this is to keep the flies out, which it seems to be effective against. I ordered the king pao chicken and rice combo plate. I was so surprised. The portions are very generous. I ate half and took the other half home for dinner. This is not a fancy place to go have a nice Chinese dinner, but definitely good for takeout or party trays. There was a continuous stream of customers ordering food while I was there. Super fast and cheap!

Customer Service: This is the worst customer service I’ve had in a really long time. I paid for everything on the phone via CC, and then about an hour later our food arrived. Fast forward to 30 minutes later, when we get a knock on our door. The delivery driver is holding up his cell phone(as he doesn’t speak English) and the woman I spoke with initially when ordering is telling us we need to pay him in cash. I explained that no, I’d already given her my CC info over the phone when we ordered; I then took out my bank app and showed the driver that the charge had already gone through and she STILL was going off about how I didn’t pay. My boyfriend gets on the phone with her and tries to explain again that I paid, and she just says ‘No, you’re wrong and I never got any CC information from you’ etc. this goes on for another five minutes while all 3 of us are standing in the doorway trying to get her to understand that she messed up. It was very frustrating.

5 big thumbs up! It’s rare that I give such a high rating, but KK has earned it. I’ve had delivery service 3 times and picked up my order once. All experiences were fantastic. It’s the first time I’ve had confidence knowing I can place a delivery order, with it arriving in a reasonable time, handing over a hefty tip to the driver, then devouring my plate and feeling good about it. The service is tops, the food is ever so yummy(no msg) and pricing is affordable. They have included free items with every order, even when we walked in and placed an order. We had to wait for our food so they gave us free wontons to snack on. The food itself is always fresh with plenty of veggies in their dishes. My typical order consists of chow Mein(house), honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, rice and beef broccoli. We’ve also had the eggrolls, potstickers and Mongolian beef. My recent discovery and most favorite of them all is the Salt n Pepper Tofu. I can’t get enough of it. A previous review described it as crispy outside with a silky and soft center. That’s what convinced me to order it so thank you fellow Unilocaler! I will continue to try new dishes. The family orders look like a great deal, but my family is kind of partial to the same dishes over and over. I’m a fan of the party trays as well. Especially when I need a lot of food in a pinch. I hadn’t realized I could place an order online either. I will likely use that as my go-to option from now on. This is as good as it gets around my parts of town!

PRO’S: Very convenient authentic Chinese place near me; which is quite surprising! I am a fan of this restaurant! People there are very friendly! Took our food to go, and boy you know when it’s good food just by the smell! It smelled authentic and by the time we got home, we knew we found a gem! Prices are very reasonable as well! CON’S: Location maybe? It’s better made for a pick-up than to stay and eat. Place is quite small.

Was in the mood for some chinese fast food yesterday. This place has been around for a while & last time I tried it, it was over 10 years ago & I remember it being decent. I got a fried rice & orange chicken combo meal which included 2 mini eggrolls, it came out to about $ 7& change. I can tell by the smell of the food, something was odd. I figured maybe they just cook it differently here or that it’s been a while. Fried rice was way too greasy, but forced myself to finish it because I was hungry. The orange chicken had a weird taste to it & was way too soggy that I ended up throwing more than half of it away. I can feel that the food didn’t settle into my stomach well & ended up with some major food coma that knocked me out for 3 hours. Kinda sad to think I would prefer Panda Express or even Mr. Chau’s over this place. So yeah, I wont be coming back to this place. If I’m in the mood for some fried rice, I’ll probably head over to Kim Tar on McKee & Jackson.

I have been looking for that fried tofu that is crispy outside but silky soft inside. Ever since a friend of mine brought me some last year when she came to visit, I have always wondered and searched for it on the back of my mind. It was only after a couple of weeks that I figured I’d ask her again and she said about this place and then raved about the almond prawns. so I went… and she was right. The place was near our local asian store and its considered like a hole inthe wall place. I actually recognize the owners and their kids when they would go to the nearby grocery store. The restaurant a small place with a couple of tables for dinning. It has a wall covered with multitudes of pictures of their menu and customer’s notes on how good their food is. Unilocalers were right to say that the owners are nice and took my order of fried salt and pepper tofu and almond prawns. In front of the counter is a taped note saying — Note to valued customers: due to the increased prices of seafood they added $ 1 to all their seafood menus. «thank you for understanding».(I just love how they included that part — like an apologetic friend) And so I waited… and waited for a couple of minutes until I got my food and bounced. I love the Tofu! it was tasty even without the sauce. It was consistent from the 1st time I had it. The prawn was about 10 big prawns with several almonds nestled in a bed of lettuce. It wasn’t as many as I wanted but perhaps since they wanted to keep he price within range they had to lessen the servings. Because it is in the creamy /oily side, they compensated with the shredded lettuce which added to the texture that l liked. I will try calling for delivery next time since its free and you get a free item(2 liter soda) if you have orders of $ 20 and above before taxes.
