This family owned and operated restaurant is a perfect Chinese eat in or take Very unassuming and clean. .Delicious shrimp items, chicken, vegetables, all! Prices are reasonable. Serving portions large. Service very friendly! This is my family’s first go to after a long day! Love this place!

So far we’ve been here twice and the food has been good and bad. The chow mein and fried rice sides were great. The sweet and sour pork was amazing — crisp breading and flavorful. On the other hand — the orange chicken was way too sweet and tangy — definitely some of the worst we’ve had. Will have to try other things and hopefully not land on another orange chicken!

It’s excellent if you need quick & simple Chinese food(togo). But sitting in is not the best. The service is not their strength. Food does taste fine and the price is reasonable.

Pretty good Chinese food establishment! Got the number 3 dinner for one. It is delicious and a lot!

The service here is bad. The walnut shrimp wasn’t done. My poor grandma bit into the walnut shrimp and flour came out… the flour from the batter!!! The sweet and sour pork looked like they just butchered a pig and we got the left over meat. The crab ragoons tasted spoiled and were burnt. I feel like I’m about to get food poisoning. Idk where the people saying this place is great usually gets their food. I’m so disappointed.

i wanted to really like this place but… like other reviews said service sucks. When we arrived the lady behind the counter yelled«TOGO» i said yes. i didn’t know the menu or that i had to get it myself so after like 2 min after waiting it myself. we ordered the combination rice(shrimp, pork and chicken fried rice), Lemon chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, and walnut shrimp. the lady didn’t look up once as she was writing my order down. it came out to $ 49 and some change. it took about 25 min Combination rice: delicious it was so good lemon chicken: great portion of chicken with a sweet lemon sauce. yummy Orange chicken: breaded chicken with a nice orange glaze sweet and sour pork: the sauce wasn’t mixed in all the way it was at the bottom but when we mixed it at home it was a nice sauce and the pork wasn’t dry Walnut shrimp: weird it had a white a sauce and not much flavor

I have tried many different Chinese restaurants around the Bay Area and nothing compares to Ko Sing’s Hong Kong style seafood chow mein or their Mongolian beef(which I like to add baby corn to). I’ve been going to Ko Sing ever since I was little and when they were still in the smaller store across the street from where they ate now. Never have I been disappointed with their food or their service. This is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I uses to enjoy the food until a buddy of mine told me they found tongs in their toilet. Haven’t been back since. One of the number one rules about eating out. If their restroom is gross the kitchen is disgusting! Wish they would clean up their act!

Overall I must say this place is tasty. I’ve always loved the food-but I’m not a picky eater…

I like this place cause their food tastes fresh and home made. Their prices are pretty average and I think they give pretty good portions. Staff is friendly and theres a good amnt of seating in there.

This is a very small family owned restaurant. I live in the area for years and decided to give them a try last night. I didn’t expect much but I left satisfied. The food is fairly priced and the portions are huge. We ordered two items and have enough left overs for at least 2 meals.

I got Mongolian beef over rice. It was good not too much onions like some places do. Was not spicy but has a bit of a gravy consistency. I will try again since its close to my house. I will have to try other dishes next time. I gave 4 stars since they were nice enough to open back up after closing just to make my order.

Wonton soup an fried rice are the only good items IMO. All of the meat items taste very gamey and I’d much rather go to Golden Buddha for Chinese food than here since they’re both about the same distance from my house.

OK, First off If you have an extra 5−10min of your lunch time start by ordering from the white board next to cash register. To many to list but well worth the wait. Trust me! Hot fresh and way exciting than your typical two items ready made a la cart dishes you see when you walk in. Items such as Salted, pepper ribs over plain fried rice one of the best. extra$$ if you choose a specialty fried rice. Vegetarian LOVERS try and have the owner select the dish for you Trust me, when i tell you the Chef/owner/husband will do his best. Oh man and talk about the Kitchen at anytime if you ask to see the kitchen. They most likely will love to show you there kitchen. Its VERYCLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN and well organized!!! My family and I have been eating here since they were across the street next to Lucky’s in 1988, and till now at there current location next to SaveMart. Dinner, this place is a real hidden Gem! Big parties or take out orders your able to consult with the Owners/Chef. Give him a budget, and what you love to eat and he will Dish you out his best dishes. Some not even posted on there menu. Well worth it!!! The décor never bothered me or my family and friends. We had full banquets dinners inside that tiny restaurant and they never failed to impress us all. This place is well inviting Please take time to try KOSING. and i always love feed backs myself of this review. Thanks folks!!!

This place was lacking any real charm which I would go back again. The two-item choices were disappointing & lacking in variety(chosen Chicken Chow Mein & Sweet Sour Pork). Both were meh and small portions. So, best of luck to Ko Sing

There are both pros and cons to this place. If you’re really craving good chinese food, then by all means, this is the place to be! Although don’t expect to walk into a 5 star establishment. I don’t think this place has changed their décor or carpet since they’ve opened. But hey, you’re coming for the food right? I’d eat in since the dishes will be fresh and crispy. Portions are pretty huge but get soggy if you’re taking it home. Sweet and sour pork is delicious here, not like the Panda Express crap. This is the only place I’d go for chinese food. it doesn’t hurt that it’s close by.

First time trying this place so already I was a bit worried not knowing what to expect. Walking in, the place looks run down and dirty as if it’s never gotten a really good cleaning. Not the type of place I would want to eat at. So I ordered To Go. About 20 minutes wait for Beef Broccoli, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein and steamed rice. Beef Broccoli was good and will order again! Teriyaki chicken came with broccoli(wasn’t expecting that). The sauce was good but the chicken was dry(maybe it wasn’t chicken?). The Chicken Chow Mein was good too and will also order again. Steamed rice was the same as every other Chinese place, it’s pretty hard to screw that one up! Overall I think this place is great for take out. IMO better than Golden Buddha.

Me and my family have been going to Ko Sing since it was across the street next to Lucky’s, probably since I was 4 or 5. We know which dishes we like, we know which dishes are good, and we tend to stick to them. I must say for 20 something odd years they have been consistent in the good quality of their food. We always get take out, we order by phone ahead of time and they always get our order right and it is always ready pretty quickly. Our usuals: –Mongolian Beef with extra sauce –Beef Broccoli –Won Ton Soup –Chow Mein –Fried Rice –Peking Spareribs –Salt and Pepper Spareribs We’ve been loyal customers for a couple of decades and we’ll be loyal for many more. Thanks Ko Sing!

FOOD: 1.) Fried Rice 2.) Cashew chicken = O man this one is really good, they put few peppers in there, so it’s a tad spicy. Very very appetizing. 3.) Snow peas *nom nom nom… My parents brought these three items home last night and it was very very satisfying ^____^! Usually Chinese food is just staple, you know, me being Chiense and all… But I actually really enjoyed my meal! And I didn’t feel über weighed down or sluggish from food coma. Although since it’s Chinese food, it still was a little oily, compared to other ethnic food. I ate it again today for lunch and mm still very satisfying ^___^

Ko Sing has been a favorite of my family’s for a while, but not quite a favorite of mine. Their restaurants smells a little like wet rag, the service is less than satisfactory, and a little slow. We mostly take our food to go, since the eating experience there isn’t that lovely. Their waitress/cashier/owner(?) is usually too busy to tend to you, and you pretty much have to call her over if you need anything. Gotta say though, out of everything, the Hong Kong Fried Chicken is worth picking up. This place has been in business for longer than I could remember, but its lackluster food quality and unsavory meals aren’t too great. I won’t be eating here, at least, not with my money.
